Phoenix's German lines sound so stereotypical Apollo's EINSPRUCH sounds gay. Mia sounds like a teenage girl in all her lines. All Payne's lines are Hilarious. Manfred's PROTESTO is funny. All Franziska's lines are meh... Godot's PROTESTO is so deep. Edgeworth sounds British in his English lines. Kristoph's and Klavier's EINSPRUCH are so fluent.
Alpha Hedge where'd you get the idea Klavier and Kristoph are German? Klavier does use German words, but if you listen to him in Dual Destinies, you'll notice he lacks a German accent. Further proving this is Kristoph's lack of German terms in his dialogue. I believe it was explained that the Gavinners toured in Germany at one point, and Klavier picked up some German words and incorporated them into his dialogue. A similar explanation exists as to why he has minor knowledge of the fictional Borginian language xD
+Chessy No In Capcom's HQ: Right, so we have a German man who plays the guitar... What should we call him? Everyone: PIANO! (Klavier is German for Piano.)
thatjacktansley It's been revealed that Klavier is not German. He merely studied in Germany. If I were to guess, he's most likely American, given his accent
I played Ace Attorney first in English, someday I played it in german (because... I am german), and... first Time I heard Manfred von Karma in english my heart nearly stopped, I really thought "WTF IS THIS GUY?!" And as I hear here, he is it in nearly all other languages, like the voice of evil. Only in germany he sounds like an old guy who can't even climb up some stairs without having breathing problems >< It is really sad
I love Payne’s Japanese objection, it sounds like it’s his first day in court and he doesn’t want to object but has to in order to get a guilty verdict.
I like Kristophs, Klaviers and especially Godots german voice, but the rest of the german voice clips are real crap xD The englisch and french voice actors did a really good job though!
HEY GUYS!! So, who's getting the new Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice? :D In my honest opinion, Dual Destinies could have been better, but after playing the demo to SoJ, I got my hopes back into the series again!
There's a French fan translation in progress for some of the games here: www.aai-fr.com/forum. They're currently finishing up AAI, but they've started work on AAI2 and have plans to translate DD, DGS and eventually SoJ into French.
For some reason, the French one is *killing me*. Especially ‘PRENDS ÇA!’ I’m gonna start yelling that in French class now Edit: And the Italian ‘ECCO!’ too XD
Pheonix Wright: Your Honor, the murderer is rumored to be from Germany judging from the transcript recorded in April 20th. Franziska von Karma: EINSPRUCH!!!
Best fitting voices for the characters: Phoenix Wright: Italian Apollo Justice: Something between Spanish, Italian and German Mia Fey: French or Italian, all the other ones where kind of too much screaming Winston Payne: English, French, Spanish, they kind of sound all the same, but I think it just fits him perfectly Manfred von Karma: Japanese, Spanish (even tho it sounds like Wario) and Italian, I imagine his voice either deep, serious and slow (Japanese) or deep, but with a weird undertone(Spanish/Italian) Franziska von Karma: I think all voices fit her very well, but English was just the best because her voice just had this touch of arrogance Godot: English, Italian and German Miles Edgeworth: English is perfect for his current age, but Italian fits really good for when he just started prosecuting Kristoph Gavin: Definitely German, his voice is calm and direct, just perfect :p Klavier Gavin: Something in between English, Italian and German. I imagine him having a young, but loud voice which should sound a bit melodic since he's a singer ;)

-Klavier, on the other hand, completely loses his German accent (and maybe this is just me but he sounds a tad more aggressive in the italian localization)
-Godot calls Phoenix "Light" instead of "Trite"
-Furio Tigre uses the letter "K" instead of "C" in his dialogue ("K" along with "J" are considered foreign letters here but "K" specifically is very common among young people online as a cooler alternative to a normal "C", don't ask)

Phoenix's German lines sound so stereotypical
Apollo's EINSPRUCH sounds gay.
No Thanks Edgeworth is supposed to be British I think, and Klavier and Kristoph's characters are both supposed to be from Germany.
I was just guessing. All I knew was that Klavier is Piano.
+Chessy No
In Capcom's HQ:
Right, so we have a German man who plays the guitar...
Is it just me or franziska's objection in english the cutest thing ever
I love Payne’s Japanese objection, it sounds like it’s his first day in court and he doesn’t want to object but has to in order to get a guilty verdict.

what the japanese voice of phoenix make me so smile XD ? it is so cute !
Lol Einspruch (German) totally fits the part of Franziska
In the japanese version says that franziska is american xD
Seriously? ._.
Anthony Benitez That's weird. She looks definitely like a german. But even crazier is that Franzika von Karma is in the german version... also german.
Then Franziska is illuminatti confirmed
Phoenix Wright Wait, whot
I like Kristophs, Klaviers and especially Godots german voice, but the rest of the german voice clips are real crap xD The englisch and french voice actors did a really good job though!
Ich mag Apollos und Phoenix' Einspruch
+HyruleHero Immerhin ist Phoenix' Einspruch besser als der von Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright
HyruleHero Joa, geht noch ;)
EINSPRUCH!!!
Phoenix' Stimme ist allgemein recht gut imo
A funny fact is that the japanese Manfred von Karma is voiced by the music composer of the first game, Masakazu Sugimori.
Von Karma's "PROTESTO" is the funniest thing... all the rest are kind of serious XD

HEY GUYS!! So, who's getting the new Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice? :D
In my honest opinion, Dual Destinies could have been better, but after playing the demo to SoJ, I got my hopes back into the series again!
I'm soooo sad because the Ace Attorney new games are in japanese and english but i'm french :'(
There's a French fan translation in progress for some of the games here: www.aai-fr.com/forum. They're currently finishing up AAI, but they've started work on AAI2 and have plans to translate DD, DGS and eventually SoJ into French.
MProductions
People are sad that the games aren't in French and here I am sobbing for the English translation of dgs. ;-;
It's even worse considering the fact that DGS2 was announced. Just another AA game we'll never get to play...
MProductions
Hopefully the fan translation team does something else I will just have to learn Japanese ;-;
Payne's Japanese 'OBJECTION!' has made my life worthwhile.
Nyaabeehy!
Even if I'm french, the french voices are a little weird to listen to when we're used to the english ones:,)
true

This is really cool. I always wondered what the voices sounded like in other languages.
Edgeworth is hottest character you can’t change my mind.

Best fitting voices for the characters:
Phoenix Wright: Italian
Apollo Justice: Something between Spanish, Italian and German
Mia Fey: French or Italian,
all the other ones where kind of too much screaming
Winston Payne: English, French, Spanish,
they kind of sound all the same, but I think it just fits him perfectly
Manfred von Karma: Japanese, Spanish (even tho it sounds like Wario) and Italian,
I imagine his voice either deep, serious and slow (Japanese) or deep, but with a weird undertone(Spanish/Italian)
Franziska von Karma: I think all voices fit her very well, but English was just the best because her voice just had this touch of arrogance
Godot: English, Italian and German
Miles Edgeworth: English is perfect for his current age, but Italian fits really good for when he just started prosecuting
Kristoph Gavin: Definitely German, his voice is calm and direct, just perfect :p
Klavier Gavin: Something in between English, Italian and German. I imagine him having a young, but loud voice which should sound a bit melodic since he's a singer ;)
Vladushka Italian Phoenix Wright sounds bored
the Apollo's voice in Spanish is fine, but it feels acted out
