Why do women tend to only like text? They don’t want to talk on the phone, or video chat? … if you are hours away, and can’t get together, I would think it would be better to be able to hear and or see the other person. There is so much that you cannot get from a text.
It literally creates distance. They can put the conversation in their pocket and take awhile to think about it before deciding or responding. It feels safer to know that they can pause everything. Maybe you say something that thrills her, but she doesn't want to show you how much or at all. She can just wait until she's cooled down or thought of the perfect response.

The point is, don't think about it, leave her to it & just get on with your own life.
Just make sure if she does text back... don't be texting immediately leave it at least few hours... or if your busy leave it till the next day if you want & just say hey what's up, yeh you been busy...don't be saying your at home & not done nothing or read a book... that's sounds dorky!!! Lol
