After praying and fasting and receiving my husband I found that reading my word and letting God guide me has been the best thing. Ya’ll shouldn’t let all information into your heart
Praying and fasting is important, I wholly believe in praying and fasting, however many people have unresolved past trauma from childhood, past relationships, divorce, ect; and these things can require professional help to get the healing that needed, so it’s not always as SIMPLE as fasting and praying. It Takes ALL of it for some people.
This is one smart woman and how she uses her words are amazing. She gives understanding and clarity. I love how she emphasizes to each it's own and she never make anything one-sided. Love this woman!!!
Yesss, my husband had my oil changed without me asking, washed my car, and went to grocery store when we started dating and he still does those things today.
This was a great conversation & dialogue. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean a childfree woman has experienced trauma that influenced her decision to not have children. She simply values her freedom, peace, etc…the list goes on. THANK YOU for mentioning this, Pastor Turner!!!🙌🏾
I’m new to this community but I love this show!!!! Listen, I’ve been celibate for 6 years. Tips: Initially you’re going to have to just resist the flesh. The urges will be strong but just resist, pray, stay busy, listen to preaching, etc…. The flesh will stop screaming once you take control of it. Now, once you get through that protect your space. I don’t watch anything sexual, I don’t listen to romantic music, etc…. All that will do is trigger you. It’s wonderful being celibate. My mind is clear, I’m making better decisions and the level of my discernment is very high. If you decide to entertain someone of the opposite sex no intimate touching, cuddling, or being alone!!! Date in public only!!! Hope this helped!!!
I think the whole idea behind the Proverbs 31 woman is to show how above all , she respects the Lord . This is shown by her actions in everything she does, by stewarding WHATEVER God has given her with EXCELLENCE -
The Proverbs 31 women is teaching for men and what type of women they should be looking for. Mother is describing a life she wants for her son. So she is not a real person.
Wasn't able to watch the live last night but I'm watching now smh damn I wish this kind of podcast was around when I was in my 20,30,40 now I'm 56 folks your never to old to still learn and grow so thanks again Tysean & Ryan for having these kind of conversations......... You young men are changing ppl life with these amazing guests
The woman in Proverbs 31 is not a biblical standard exclusively set for women. She is a personification of wisdom who shows us what wisdom looks like in action and calls ALL people, in every situation, to fear the Lord.
Pastor Jerome Bryant? The proud chronic adulterer who wants to deal drugs out of the church? The man who said Jesus made a mistake and wasn’t perfect?? 🤔Umm no. Don’t bring him back.🙄
Yes, a man can become the highest version of himself even if he never marries and has a family. I would add that if he committed his life, as a Christian, to loving God, serving others, and walking out his purpose for which God created him, he's living out his highest and best self; a purpose-driven life! That, I believe, is God's desire for us.
This is by far the best and most transparent episode, I have watched!!! Dr. Kari is a beautiful combination of beauty, brains, and wisdom! This conversation is made my day. Thank you so much.
The Bible said you will know them by their fruit….I would encourage everyone to look at a persons fruit before deciding to follow them. This woman is very knowledgeable and well spoken. She clearly understands how to be healthy and whole as a single. If you want to get married, please consider following a woman who is married.
Remember that FRUIT also refers to fruit of the spirit. Just because a person is married it doesn't mean they are happy, healthy and whole or that they bear good fruit. SO like she said work on yourself and ensure you are living in your purpose and you are a whole and healthy person and follow people who bear that fruit.
Definitely takes getting to know yourself and working on facing the childhood traumas and triggers and behaviors…getting ourselves to our authentic selves and being content and happy with the masculine or feminine characteristics you have and embodying those basic qualities before meeting someone and changing for them…. Don’t change stay who you are to identify what will or will not work for you. Takes a lots of time to get to that space of self acceptance, self awareness self worth and self esteem. This doesn’t include how you are able to provide for self or family seeing we live in a time that both ppl need to be able to step up financially at any time if the other becomes sick or disabled. Knowing what you bring and who you are and you dealbreakers are basic. Then those family values, morals and standards must match. Because when looks fade and health fails you need to know the basics is the same. I need someone that’s always growing and learning and bettering themselves. ❤
This is so good. Thank you Dr. Turner for sharing your wisdom, heart ❤ and time with us . The Proverbs 31 woman is a new biblical fiigure for me, so it's good to have this lesson especially in the context that Dr. Turner presented.
Many of us want God's best, but oftentimes, we're not God's best. It's easy to want God's best but hard to be God's best without a relationship with Him. We have to reconcile that we are broken and NEED God. The person that you pick as a spouse will be broken as well. We then have to fall in love with the fact that God loves us regardless of that brokenness. If that does not make you fall in love with God deeply, it's going to be difficult to parallel that love to another broken human being, as the human heart does not have the capacity on its own to do that. We're not picking spouses from out of our relationship with God because many of us are lacking a deep relationship with the author of love, the God of Jesus Christ. Example: (Man) My God is committed to me. I desire to be committed to you (woman) regardless of how beautiful these other women look. Example: My God is committed to me, but this woman is not committed. I should move on because this relationship is not reminiscent of who my God is to me.
Being a good human being is Key!! A human being with integrity. Yes I must get better for myself love myself, feeling good about my purpose and knowing my purpose. My Identity has been changed to love.
As someone who works with people as they are dying. I can say with certainty there is a difference at the end of life between those who are surrounded by family and those who are surrounded by people they have to hire at the end of life....and that's in the very few cases where one can afford to pay for help. Most who did not create families and can't afford to pay for help often times have to seek coworkers or neighbors to handle their affairs when that time comes.
The conversations shared on this podcast are a powerful catalyst for wisdom, understanding, and transformation. Together, you dispel myths, ignite awareness, and empower both women and men to embrace their best versions. Thank you for being part of this transformative journey. Keep shining brightly!
Proverbs 31 woman is for men. What a man should be looking for in a wife. Proverbs 31 is discribing a wife not a single woman so no it is not the standard for single women but single women who desire marriage can still imulate these characteristics to put her in position for marriage.
I totally agree. If you research the history, it's believed that it's a conversation between a mother and her son, Lemuel to whom she lays out a template of what he should look for in a woman.
Amen🎉when, I met my husband I was so involved in Ministry that, I almost didn't even notice him all together because, I was so happy fulfilling my Purpose ❤

Thanks Hardly Inititiated, the Guest Karri Turner brought some valuable sweeping insights & knowledge into the presentation. The playfulness between Proverbs 20v6 Vs & Proverbs 31v10, demonstrates male and female values that sustains a great relationship. Hope to see more godly and rich conversations like this. 🖖🤝🙌
This interview and conversation was sooo needed and well done! Yes, it's all about the intentionality! It's all about the little things and values.....❤
@@ElaineRob757 No, I don’t but some of the things he has done and said don’t line up with the word of God. Look at his fruit! Even his ex wife said he was a cheater cheater pumpkin eater. He has other kids he doesn’t even acknowledge.
What a great conversation! I'm tuning in after the fact and y'all got me rev'd UP!! What a blessing to have such an unbiased perspective from Dr. Turner! We need this in these internet streets! Dr. Turner's raw perspective is enlightening. Thank you! It is true the all men and women are not destined to be husbands and wives...and more importantly everybody should define what marriage means to THEM. It means different things to everyone. Don't make someone else's definition or model of marriage fit into your life. Live in your own with your lifemate who lives by the same model.
Only a man who knows who he was before his family and who he is after his family can answer the question, if he could be his best without a family. Many times, the man who chooses not to have a family is the man that wants to sleep around. At the end of the day you have to go deeper to why you don't want your own family. Many times when women says they don't want a family it's because of experience they had or it's all about me. Yes God does gives some the gift to be single however I haven't came across no one that says God give me that gift.
Thank you for having this guest on your show and addressing these topics! Here are some areas that your guest and others may want to explore: 1. Does God allow a divorced person to get remarried? Romans 7:1-3, 1 Corinthians 7:10,11,39 2. Does God want us to fellowship with believers who are practicing sexual sin? Should such people be allowed to lead the church, be in the fellowship of other believers, be in the worship with believers? 1 Corinthians 5:1-13
Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a faithful man? The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him. PROVERBS 20:6-7. 😇😍
❤❤❤I love you men at Hardly Initiated. This podcast comes with the hard questions of guests. No one gets a free lunch. My mind is being filled with nuggets of information that will aide in my knowledge expansion of self-awareness, in relationships and moving towards marriage. I’m inspired by this conversation in knowing that, Yes, as I am…I am enough!
Let's be clear. I'm for marriage & kids 100%. However, I saw a comment in the chat that says that if a man has no kids then he has no legacy. I'd like to argue (without diminishing the significance of having children) that a man's legacy is not only subject to having children. Your legacy is the life that you lived, which the people in this world coming after you can benefit from long after you are gone. We still know the Lord Jesus' name thousands of years after his death and resurrection. His legacy for all of us who believe on his name is eternal life (the gospel). Suppose someone like Dr. King didn't have kids, his name would still be great because we benefit from the life that he lived (along w/many others who fought). Although these are exceptional men, anyone willing can leave a great legacy behind that's far greater than just having children. Legacy is about making your mark. For me, it's about the things that are eternal more than anything else because I do believe that what you do for Christ last.
I love the conversation regarding being single and having character of moral & core values of life. I’m a woman who believes and has old fashioned beliefs about dating and relationships. Dr. Turner is so on point with her discussion on this topic. Especially, about the little things that can make a woman happy in a relationship!😊
I totally agree with pastor. I was also married for 17 years and is now divorced and I am a prophetess a woman of God and I am abstinence it is very hard ,but through the holy spirit and deliverance I do have self control that is one of the fruits of the spirit it really is God s will for my life .I'm paying a price but it's all worth it .❤
So good. I’m gonna subscribe now. I’ve always just scrolled past when TH-cam suggested your channel cause 🙄 “another male podcast trying to only keep women accountable ” unfortunately… but I love me some Karri and I enjoyed this entire podcast. Went grocery shopping, walked the dog cooked breakfast and cleaned the whole kitchen listening 👂. Great job and looking forward to more content and possibly going back and listening to what else you have.
What a GREAT conversation! What I loved the most is she speaks on both males and females equally!!! I say all the time just take my car to wash and fill with gas!!! Not low level at all!!!!!
Preach it sista. I am doing this right now, and i am suffering. You could come sooner. You would have save me. I got the deserning ,and ignored it. Praise God 👏🏼 for Grace
AT 55:00 mark why do you want to be married ? Ask yourself this 1000 times and A LOT of women just want a wedding and the social status of wife cause they be the first time file for divorce. @59:49 mark Jesus was a single man and he fulfilled his purpose without being married or having children so that guy's statement about a man is not a man unless he has a family was trash. What if a man can't conceive children and is sterile. What if he dies before he gets the opportunity to have children a man is a man by what God's will is for his life. No where in the bible does it say a man is a man by heading a family.
Holding accountable is the catchword. I recently 'died' for a sister who could hold me accountable. The church is slack in this. And again, after so many years of hard labour , of course marked with great exploits, I crushed so. Hard that navigating through this has been the hardest thing, actually strange to me. I see now how the church has failed single women.
What an AMAZING conversation!!! From someone who was raised and saturated in the 'church' ... this is so refreshing. These are conversations that we NEVER have ... the how part of avoiding certain pitfalls. Pastors always stop at DON'T. Great stuff!!

Yes a man can be the best version of himself without being married. Absolutely.
Absolutely. JESUS CHRIST?
Loved this interview. I'm now a fan and supporter of Dr. Kurry. Congratulations on her proposal and Wishing her marital success
I totally agree with pastor. I was also married for 17 years and is now divorced and I am a prophetess a woman of God and I am abstinence it is very hard ,but through the holy spirit and deliverance I do have self control that is one of the fruits of the spirit it really is God s will for my life .I'm paying a price but it's all worth it .❤
How come you are divorced as a prophetess did you not see that you were going to be divorced? So curious to know how it works
There are reasons for divorce.
This was really good this episode made me want to join the membership. Love what you guys are doing.
Hardly Initiated is my new sugar fix! I absolutely love it here! This episode was very satisfying!!! Juicy!!! 🥰
Preciate you, June!!
Thanks for subbing
This was so amazing she shared so much wisdom. Thank you queen!
This hit home!! Very powerful message
I really love this guest. I can identify with her in many ways
Here are my flames for this episode!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥....Shout out to Dr. Turner

Hi! Great conversation, Wonderful information and Coming from a Beautiful Soul.
enjoyed listening-great conversation she was Awesome 👏
Holding accountable is the catchword. I recently 'died' for a sister who could hold me accountable. The church is slack in this. And again, after so many years of hard labour , of course marked with great exploits, I crushed so. Hard that navigating through this has been the hardest thing, actually strange to me. I see now how the church has failed single women.
What an AMAZING conversation!!! From someone who was raised and saturated in the 'church' ... this is so refreshing. These are conversations that we NEVER have ... the how part of avoiding certain pitfalls. Pastors always stop at DON'T. Great stuff!!
Doesn't always have to be trauma. Some people become eunuchs foe the kingdoms sake. Meaning a sense of purpose beyond marriage and/or children ensues
1000% ALL OF THIS !!! Pastor 👏👏👏 Well said 💪
Awesome episode!!!A woman filled with wisdom 🙌
