Awsome episode loved it.
well that was shocking.
*In any other series:* "He cheated! He's the bad guy!"
*In series like Dr. Stone:* "If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying."
That’s how their minds really work in this show lol
*JJBA Battle Tendency* : wait, who's the bigger cheater here?
That's how stone world works
It ain't cheating if it is survival
It’s survival of the fittest after all
I'm crying how, when hyoga saw that battery pack, he started looking around on the ground, like Senku can magically make this bs instantly at this point. he's seeing past the third wall lolz.
His reaction is priceless
Same
I don't know why but I laughed at this comment
bruh it can almost be a meme template
He's probably looking for more friggin gunpowder....
Which fair enough!
We can say that Hyoga was *shocked* by this combination
Get out
@@skrillframe64 don't be so "shocked" that someone did that
Pun intended.
Did you just make f-four puns with two words?!
Cant believe I almost laughed
“Hey, I know we had this long war for a long time but...”
“I don’t care!”
“...I can bring your sister back”
“Why didn’t you say that from the start ? Come here my bro”
I don’t think it was that simple ... then again if you put it that way .. it kinda sounds about right
They didn’t know about the regenerative properties of the petrifaction process up until after Tsukasa and Senku were already beyond simple diplomacy
i mean there are no casualties of both sides
If senku had asked taiju and yuzuriha to tell tsukasa that he healed from a certain death injury, I think the whole process would speed up
@Kleiner Fratz what you said right, tsukasa wanted both his sister and his principles and Senku would have been disposed after he helped the sister. yhey are now on equal ground and face the same enemy, thus being a team
Hyoga: Senku isn't a threat since he's not a fighter
Senku: But I'm something of scientist myself
Senku:"I am a mad scientist"

The amount of puns about hyoga getting shocked is quite *shocking*
I do be *_shocked_* abit
This joke was so good, it made me paralyzed
This comment thread makes me jolt a bit
I'm stunned at the amount puns that make me wat to die
This comment is Shock Absorbing.
Dr. Stone really made episode 9 feel like a season finale and then immediately follow it up with an episode that feels even more like a season finale
Ik right
Genuinely thought the rest of the season would be more of an epilogue and stuff
Well if you remember that humanity has like 200 humans alive, yes technically they are the strongest tag team.
Awake*
Wait till they break out the Midnight Express!
i mean even with everybody alive, all 7 billion, senku and tsukasa are still probably one of the strongest tag teams
@Kanon shhhh don't spoil them
@Kanon I mean they’re about to get clapped, and tbf Stanley wouldn’t be so tough if he wasn’t holding a gun...and senku is basically xeno level with morals
Senku is one of the only protagonists who has a noble goal just because it's fun 😂

That's the whole point of the simplistic traits in the show...
Strength isn't measured only physically. ^^
And on the other hand you got a villain with no plot armor. He could've you know let go of the spear and gotten some distance
Until a wild Stanley shows up...
Reminder that Gen was the one that made all those batteries for the phone. So, in a way, he's also to thank for this win. 😌

Why is no one talking about how we finally got to see Senku with his hair down???
I screamed when i saw that he looks so good
I know I wish he had his hair down more 😭
He looked like his dad
We saw him like that for a second in s1 if i remember correctly.
That episode when they went to the river for the iron sand or something like that.

Season 1 and early season 2 "Tsukasa is the worst and I hope they find a way to get rid of him for good"
After the last two episodes "Oh God, not Tsukasa, find a way to save him please"
It’s weird but through the whole series, I never really thought of Tsukasa as a true bad guy.
@Oblivion Tempest hes morally grey
@@thethundernado6670nah he The weird one tsukasa was never a bad guy I never hated him,he just had…..different goals and looked at the situation in a more realistic type of way

@johanneswebereierkinn5922 senku is definetly not true neutral lol. He is neutral good.
Sweating..eyes fully opened..starts to panic
Yep we all know that when a character shows this signs in his face..it means that he is about to get fked
senku: shiny brain monkey
tsukasa: shiny muscle monkey
the fact that tsukasa keep fighting even his lungs pierced that was so LİT
Fun fact: Most Human can get by with only one lung instead of two
@@thucvo1899 imagine someone destroying your lung, you'd probably die from the pain
@@oks8568 Tsukasa built different tho
@@WasyaSsss yeah,my dude senku gave his plot
...how did you do that iIİ?
Now this is just my speculation of why Hyoga never let go of his spear before getting shocked.
1. Most likely was useless without his spear
2. This happened so fast, he panicked and didn't know what his next move must be
Yea in Dr. Stone things happen a lot more fast than how they present it. This is cause they wanna have time to give us really cool moments and dialogues like Senku explaining the stun gun. Also the 20 second raid on the cave
He was probably gonna use it to attack Senku before he could get him.
It was 1, he is a person trained in weapon combat not unarmed combat, and Tsukasa even with a puntured lung could crush him without a weapon.
Yeah i think was option 2 because Hyoga could hit tsukasa's wound before shock by stun gun
@@RodcitoKun it was both, he panicked because he didn't know if he should let go of the spear since he needs it for combat.
Senku: I killed a man... with THIS pinky
He tried to warn him
The OP2 fit so perfectly to the fight scene I got chills
My heart was palpitating during this episode it was so good
is this the first opening?
Hyoga: A wounded powerhouse and a guy with no fighting ability can’t beat me.
Senku: Haha zappy pinky go bzzzzz
2:22 My man Hyoga was so shocked that he didn't think about just running away
He's practically useless without his spear. His skill with that one weapon is the only reason why he's alive
@@Cryogenx37 he couldve made a new one tbh
@@katchper948 tsukasa would have attacked him with his spear if he tried running away
@@joky1829 tsukasa is practically dying. All Hyoga has to do is dodge a potential spear throw and just dip. No way tsukasa catches him in his current state.
@@megatroneata9911 Hyoga is a master spearman (and _only_ a spearman) and even at death's door, Tsukasa was able to trade blows with him.
If he lets go of that spear and gives Tsukasa the opening to get back up, it would most certainly have been checkmate still.
And being a spear specialist myself, I can tell you that I am instinctually connected to my weapon. Surrendering it, especially if an enemy is trying to hijack it, is simply not a mental option I am capable of considering in a panic.
Dr.Stone makes me want to participate in class 😂
First science class I was in that I actually paid attention to without sleeping I learned so much makes me wanna learn more
I remember my teacher asked a question about sulfur acid and stuff and I right away answered and she’s like “where’d you learn that from?”
Hyoga's panicked face & sounds just made his defeat all the more satisfying!
Exactly
Hyoga's panic eyes when he notices Senku's finger is pretty funny
A literal beast and A genius scientist. Truly a terrifying duo.
One bit of characterisation about Hyoga i quite like is he could have easily just let go of his spear- in the state his enemies were in pelting rocks probably would have finished them off, but he is so bound to his weapon as his source of power that it was literally impossible for him to do so. At least thats how i saw it
If he let go then tsukasa would attack him
He count
Without his spear, Hyoga is just some guy. A fairly strong and agile guy, sure, but nothing compared to someone like Tsukasa. Even in a weakened state, Tsukasa would pulverise Hyoga since he’s so reliant on his weapon in order to even the playing field.
@@Jpx0999
Yeah. Even in his near death state he pulled no punches and with an actual weapon he still would outperform Hyoga, who now has no weapon to protect himself.
So he was in a tricky situation.
Dude when Sangenshoku started playing this episode, I started screaming
Same I was so excited
Maybe I did, maybe I didn't
This was my favorite episode hands down everything that happened with Tsukasa and Senku and his sister and Hyoga just *chefs kiss*
Considering he made tanks and explosives in the stone world hyoga should’ve expected this from senku.

Senku is always 10 billion percent prepared!
Great episode!
Hyoga: NOooOoo YOu caNt DefEaT mE
senku: haha stun gun go brrr
I love how Senku mostly stays calm in serious situations, because he always knows a solution
Exactly he thinks logically, irrational thinking is not his forte.
I got super excited when the Pelican Fanclub OP started playing
Best op hands down
Imagine senku getting all the materials he can, and he builds a scientific armor for TSUKASA

Hyoga: you two are basically the weakest combo in the world
Senku and Tsukasa : and we took that personally

*Tsukasa
He’s also fatally wounded
You could say that last attack was a SPARK of inspiration
"A bandage over his finger"
Every Anime Villains: Let see what's going to happen.
Hyoga: you both cant team up, youre rivals
Senku and tsukasa: haha electricity goes brrr
That would’ve been dope if they pulled an Escanor line from Seven Deadly Sins saying “who decided that”
2:37 And now, a visual representation of how the forbidden 1000 Years of Death technique feels.
In my view, Senku and Tsukasa represent the two ends of the same line of thought Senku being the extreme side of optimism, always considering the positive sides of the modern world first.
Tsukasa represents the extreme of Pessimism, always keeping in mind the Bad sides of modern World.
That is why, in my view, the two of them working together is ideal for the reconstruction of human society.
Major Spoilers for 2 arcs ahead (Expedition Arc)
Especially since San Francisco had planes and guns and were so much farther than Senku just because they didn't have to deal with a war so they could just restore as much as possible. Since Senku and Tsukasa were at war it tremendously slowed down the revival of science.
@@gammagames1413 More spoilers
Not only that, they started with more resources than Senku and their leader focused on weaponry to rule. Whilst Tsukasa's acts weren't the best, he was not wrong in certain things, because the guys from America are exactly what he tried to avoid. How poetic.
That teamwork was⚡ *Shock* -ingly⚡ effective 💀
why did he just let go of the spear? senku and tsukaka were already injured, all he had to do was let go of the spear and run then come back at kick them a few times

One of the things I loved was how realistic this scene is (besides Hyoga being an idiot and not letting go of the spear). Doesn't matter how strong you are if the other guy's got a taser.
This was the first episode of this show I actually felt tense watching. Good stuff Dr Stone
I agree felt that same way so suspenseful
Hyoga : Noooo you can't defeat me im the strongest man now !
Senku : Haha stun gun goes brrrr
Let’s be honest for a moment:
How much damage would that taser do?
I mean, the average voltage of a regular taser is about 50,000 volts. Usually that is JUST enough to knock a regular person to their knees and be done for the day.
HOWEVER this is LITERALLY 2x that. Granted, it WAS aimed at his ankle. But, electricity has the tendency to travel.
There are plenty of stories of people receiving small shocks in the wrong places at the wrong times that throws their heart out of rhythm, or stops it all together.
All I can say for certain is that he has PERMANENT scaring at point of impact, most likely large spots of dead nerves, and MAYBE a stopped heart.
What do you guys think?
Well, it's a piece of fiction, and fiction has the tendency to underestimate electricity, so I think he'll be fine.
It’s the current that kills not the voltage
He’ll have an afro, a crispy « burnt » skin and then fly away in team rocket style 😂 this a shonen bro, just like Enel completely ridiculous lighting bolt didn’t killed anyone in one piece that taser will leave no scar whatsoever
seeing as electricity loves traveling downwards towards the ground, I think he'll be fine, just extremely numb
If you want honesty: that high of voltage with the wires so close to each other and his fingers would've caused it to jump to Senku's finger well before he could shock anyone else. Also, it would only damage the area around where he poked him since it travels from one wire to the other, it wouldn't go up all the way to his heart and back down. It would hurt LIKE HELL.
2:28 man had like 8 second to react in time but he chose his spear over getting shocked he could've even moved himself away from senku since he has spear and his spear is like tall as a door. He also has legs as well but did not use them
The only explanation I can think of is that everything happened in less than a second. And they just timed it badly in the anime for dramatic purposes, and for Senku's explanation to happen. But it seemed pretty stupid for Hyouga to just stand there horrified by that hand lol
@@MNTNHMESMO His spear would have been useless anyways you know how Tsukasa can breaks a stone statue of petrified people but can't break a sharp stone tip of a spear thats made of wood and stone but at some point the spear would of broke if Senku did not shock that idiot
pov: you're not early you're just at the right time
Their high five at the end was the icing on the cake. Amazing episode easily best of the series

I love how in the scene just before, when Hyoga shows his true colors, the crescent moon behind him almost looks like devil horns, painting him as the true demon he is.
hyoga: ima just hold on to my spear instead of running
Ik right I was thinking the same, that’s what you get for relying heavily on your own weapon that became his downfall
He should've learned that senku never lies about science
It was amazing when the season 1 opening 2 started playing
Hyoga: "Dammit. And there was no way I could have gotten out of there"
Senku: "You know, you could've let go."
Hyoga: "DAMN YOU, HINDSIIIIIIGHT!"
if he did, he would be useless against tsukasa, since he's only OP with his spear.

Best episode by far
can't wait for season 3: stone island
I know right!!
I really like how tsukasa was never demonised
Tsukasa is kinda bad at reading people, despite how clever he seems. In his own kingdom, many people were lying to him , Hyoga was basically telegraphing his takeover and other people have bailed out on him at the first major hurdle.
One thing I kinda love about this, all hyoga had to do, was let go of his spear and he could’ve run away, I get why he didnt(way to end the fight and his preferred weapon that he might not be able to make as easily now that he kinda burned bridges with everyone) but still, kinda funny
The etch marks from the revival fluid on Hyoga’s lips and mouth make him look like the spider demons from Demon Slayer. Also that amount of voltage going through Senku’s finger electrodes would have electrocuted him as well. But Senku using the bandages on his finger as an insulator to protect himself from the massive voltage and current being sent to Hyoga was nothing short of genius. And Hyoga was not wearing thick enough shoes which means he is electrically grounded thus gives the electricity 2 directions to flow...into the ground or back into the second electrode on Senku’s bandaged finger. Since electricity always chooses the path of least resistance the electricity from Senku’s high voltage transformer flowed through Hyoga’s body into the ground thus giving Hyoga some much needed shock therapy back to sanity from his insanity. Good thing that Hyoga’s spear is wooden and stone instead of metal or the electricity would have flowed into Tsukasa’s body as well...and since Tsukasa is lying on the ground he, too, is electrically grounded. Brains and Brawn the Best Bromance Bond.
Imagine letting go of your spear to outrun a cripple
This is exhilarating
Senku revived the bad person and later tsukasa the bad person revived the bad person.
Duh fk is his problem with science. He is literally a living, breathing form of science. Even his spear and techniques are based on science.
Physics and biology
Now THIS is a properly executed hero and villan teaming up scenario!
