I discovered this video 5 months ago. Today I was very lazy, especially because I remembered my first time doing this workout. However I was able to beat my laziness and completed this training for today. I was astonished, even tho I was sick sometimes, these 5 months were not for nothing. Sweat everywhere, but breathing is easy
For those who don’t know Ajahn he is an incredible human. I train at his gym in West Toronto (Siam No. 1). Most authentic Muay Thai gym you will find in this country. He is in crazy good shape and is turning 62 or 63 next year. Flawless technique. If you are serious about training in this fantastic sport, I highly recommend you stop by for one of his classes.

Glad I found this site, very informative. Think most people in traditional karate are too concerned with grades. This is a way of life, it's what you can do in the ring and also in a real life situation if needed.
If you are older and have never done martial arts and want to try this for the first time - stretch and warm up more than they do in the video, especially hips!

Hey man I was a muay thai student for 8 years I leveled five times and I have been following your training this is my first week and I have been feeling the results I started training at a muay Thai gym at the age of 9 and I'm now 17 appreciate the wonderful instructions
@@faye3626 honestly listen to you're instructor follow your routines and do your training well don't cheat and do all your training the right way, make sure you are conditioning yourself everyday, and if you want to learn new moves and techniques because you have mastered them tell your instructor you feel ready for the next level. Good luck to you man I believe in you just keep up the practices and in no time you will be a full weapon
Just found this, I have always been facinated with Muay Thai, as it uses the whole body. I am no fighter, in fact I am a bookwork per excellence. But my friend recently stopped smoking and told me to do regular traning. so this I guess will be my entrance in to the Muay Thai world. thank you so much for making this video

I like the drills he runs. I've done a few wrestling taekwondo and mma classes and I've ran drills most of my life. I definitely feel like there's a lot I could gain from his.

He’s 62, he let me fly over from Florida in 2019, he trained my Kru many years ago. I stayed with him and trained for 5 months . He is amazing , at 60 he still trained hours every day , ran every day , could do 100-150 pushups in a row .
Muay Thai is like my religion .Muay Thai is the best. Even when I get old and can't fight I will still exercise Muay Thai way because it's good for you! 👍🏼💯🙏🏼

Today is 8/31/23 and today's workout was a bit better. I wasn't able to complete all of the timed ab workouts, for example got to number 5 and continued after they were done. Still got a good sweat and feel more confident that I back into Muay Thai!
9/6/23 This workout is most definitely getting easier. I was able to complete most of the ab sets. Granted I would fall behind on some of the ab exercises but I was able to finish which feels good. I can't wait to get better!
9/8/23. Today was low energy day. Some exercises I was able to go ham with and others I had to take more of my time. I think Aunt Flow is coming into town which would explain the tiredness. I didn't get the sweat smell that reminded me of a Muay Thai gym I used to workout as. Either way, I showed up and did something today!
So I'm feeling tired but I still showed up today for this workout. I feel Aunt Flow symptoms so I focused on more technique than speed with some exercises. I also did this workout because I needed to focus more on decreasing inflammation in my system and stretching: th-cam.com/video/eQHmKJh20_c/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MovementbyDavid Overall I am feeling stronger, even though I still can't keep up with the pace for the sit ups.
