Imagine if wildcard just added a 4 platform version.... which allowed you to to deeper than 3 walls -.-

Also that sounds like a great structure for a mod like SS or S+
A tek ocean platform would be perfect
I'm waiting for Ark to add a large ceiling and large foundation, much like the large walls, basically being a 2x2 (or 4 pieces in a square)

Hello, i realize this video is a couple years old now and ark has moved on a bit tho i still play on single player. Bridging the gap is very clever and im greatfull for the tip. I have 1 quesrion tho, on the ends where two platforms come together there is a half space, is there a way i can fill that with cielings so that it doesnt hang halfway out over the edge? Thank you for the videos.
5:36 do you have any tips or tricks on how to make the walls and ceilings go lower? i want to have big space for my mosas and i still haven't figured out how to do it.
Sorry for the late reply. You aren’t able to build below the ocean platform using this method. If you try to build down more than 3 walls you will get a build error “this structure is too far away from platform.”

Can you only make the pin with the metal platform?
You should be able to make it on the wooden platform also.
@@ArkTradeFederation its been a while since you posted this video, but i was having the same issue, i wanted to connect the platforms so i needed to place the walls (the pen he is talking about) and i cant snap them onto the platforms like you did in the video

Try placing the ceilings on a different side and build down. I had the same issue with it. Also if you place ceilings over the metal frame the walls will try to snap to that instead.

How did you go into k mode?
Just press the “k” key. Climbing a ladder will help also. Climb the ladder then hit k and it will be east to line structures up.
So you make 8 Ceilings and a ladder when there's a perfectly good integrated ladder in the dead centre of the inner edge of every side waiting to be used...? LOL

these platforms give me brain cancer im trying to build multiple floors for breeding and it keeps saying "this structure is too far away from the platform" when the structure is above it.
Sadly you can’t build up very high on them compared to the traditional foundation or pillar methods.
what is K mode?
If you’re on pc, you hit ‘k’ and it will give you a different view.
