Love the song. Love how you do the breaks between steps. One problem, I am about ready to pull my hair out as I can't get it to work on an official legacy server. I am just trying to put two of the platforms together. But great song choice and vid editing!
Instead of using the click wheel for hud options u can also click k for k mode view, and when placing foundations n stuff, use e and q to get snap points

But what I AM TRYING to do, is set these up so that I can connect 2 platforms together, place ceilings all over the top of them so that I can place walls allllllll on the outside edge of them. For the project I am working on, I need the space. I have built and rebuilt and rebult these stupid things over the last 3 hrs and wasted so much time. Is there a way to get paste that? If not, I'm not using them.
To answer you, yes there is a way. Idk if it matters anymore, but I'm posting this for future builders. Follow the method in the video and build up to the desired height. Once high enough, the gap in the wall you're making, can be patched with a Dino gate. The gap in the ceiling is patched by following the end gap fix from the base, to the ceiling chosen and repeating the process at the top.
i put the pillars in the wrong spot and deleted the top one and i cant get to the ones inside the ocean plat lmao it keeps trying to make me delete the platform lol
So I tried it, must've got the fence/pillar placement wrong because when I went to lay the ceilings it didn't line up AT ALL... my bad. Went to start over but realised I can't delete the bottom pillar as it's in the ocean platform. Tried from all angles, on platform and underwater but no luck selecting the thing (always selects the platform)... tried to start over on the adjacent platform but the second pillar won't snap (think it's because of the pillar next to it stuck inside the platform). Playing solo on official so really not keen to delete the whole platform, any way I can get rid of the stuck pillar? Lol

Why couldn't they just snap like tek storage? Allow to build down at least with the pillars so I can raise Mosas.

Try splashdamage it with rocket launcher or c4 and repair the platform after
