Little Samson is at it's peak of all time right now. Even the loose cart is valued at about 1500 right now. CIB NEW which is probably very impossible is upwards of 10,000 at the moment. Obviously these aren't hard and fast prices but it should give a good idea to anyone reading this. I think it appearing on cinemassacre a few times really jumped it's popularity if you look at the charts it seems to co-incide.
Mike, Ys Origins is one you'd enjoy, it's on sale on Switch semi regularly. One of the characters you can select is more of a run and gun style and the other straight hack and slash. Great intro to the series as I recently played 8, Origins, and currently playing 9. Origins is a prequel to the first game so good starting place IMO.

Recently got to evaluating Mega Man hacks as well. Most of them are honestly not good, but there are a few gems within.
My favorite series. Hope you can do 8 and 10 to complete the entire series run.
The Megaman CX mod you played was sick af & very well programmed, can't believe that we could have had better games too.
That "hedgehog trap" level was sonic related. It said "scrap" because the level was based on the scrap zone from Sonic.
