Humvee Duramax Swap Full Custom Exhaust Build

I got the complete exhaust fully welded up and installed! Also got it fully wrapped in heat shielding.
I’m a very nervous welder, I use a harbor freight welder, I don’t have gas… Hopefully one day!
All the tubing and piping I ordered on Amazon along with the exhaust.

don't know if you will see this but here's a tip for welding, old the welder about a half inch away from the part you are welding. or you can get a pair of mig welding cutters/pliers and cut the sodder so the blade is facing out

btw the splatters are not because of gas they are from the distance, only thing gas does is stop the peice from burning and make the welds last longer

I painted my exhaust black for rust and it looks pretty good I like that Fiberglass wrap I will probably wrap my down pipe when I put in my turbo on my 6.7 powerstroke

I think you’re going to have clearance issues with the dog house opening and also with the shifter assembly. When I make these exhaust I hug the bell housing as much as possible and then run it down flush with the bottom of the frame to clear the shifter then back up over the t-case

have you thought about doing an oil filter relocation kit? then you could lower the exhaust pipe down further for clearance.

Just search exhaust wrap on Amazon and it’s the first one that pops up, I think $17.99 a roll. I used 2 rolls
