    Yahoo! On the road again! Boy, I bet that is a great feeling. Let us know how much it quiets down when the doors are on. You should be proud dude! Excellent job! Excellent channel and build from a individual perspective. Keep up the good work and continue with your channel. 👍

    Excellent conversion. Looking forward to seeing the doors in it. You should be very proud of your fabrication skills on this new vehicle.

    Brilliant. Very impressed with your skills. Your roads network seems to be perfect for the Humvee. I think I would struggle with it here in Northern Scotland, especially without doors. brrrr.

    SUPER COOL! There should be a way to tune the engine/exhaust brake so it isn't trying to give you whiplash all the time.

    What type of seatbelt harnesses at? Do you have a video on how you installed it?

    So if you were just swapping the engine and working straight, how long do you think it would take? And how much do you think you’ve spent?
    A buddy is swapping in a LS5 into his right now. He made a turbo for his original 6.2 and he may add one to mine eventually, the duramax is my dream though but it’s a little past my skills at the moment but maybe with your videos and his help I can eventually give it a shot.
    Your build looks amazing. I bet you’re very happy right now.

      I would guess maybe around 6 months only working on weekends. If you have people helping and have everything ordered you would need for it, it could probably be done faster.
      Rough total cost on mine doing most of the work myself is around 20k.
      Good luck on the builds. They're worth all the work in the end

      @@tossthewrench Gotcha. Thanks.
      Someone is selling a wrecked 2500 6.6 that still is running for $3k, I wish I had the space right now but I’m renting until I find another house.

      The two major groups that do agreed value policies are Hagerty and American Collectors for collector car like insurance.

      @@bryanford1139 Double check that you can register/title your HMMWV in Massachusetts. Up here in Maine they don't allow it.

    • @tossthewrench
      @tossthewrench  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What Tad wrote is a good idea for anyone looking into a humvee. Local registration offices have probably heard about these being released to the public now and should be able to let you know any rules that apply. All states seem to be different on them for some reason.
