Thank you so much for your kind reply. You are so nice. :) I think we have responsibility to reply all questions about product. For that questions which are not related to products, we also answer that because other people may have the same questions.
you can use a lightbox as a layering techique, just like in a digital software. it is not always about cheating. also no amount of tracing is going to help you render the drawing.
I like to do illustrations with markers so I draw the initial sketch in a really cheap paper then trace it into a thicker more high quality paper that won't make the markers bleed. This is a great tool to have on my opinion.
you don't really need a lightbox with thin tracing paper! What's it like with cartridge paper? What's it like with a photo and thick cartridge paper on top?
It baffles me that so many people dont see a differance between a tablet and a light box!! Thank you for making this video! I wanted to ask, does it have to be plugged in for it to work or is there a battery to charge? Also, can I have it rested on my legs while im drawing or should it be on the table?
I used to have a genius gpen it has a transparent sheet above the surface so i used it as my old real lightbox and of course as a tablet as well, any way i notticed when you use the tablet rested on your legs or somehow inclined (even on drawing board) tablets became to behave weird (wobbly lines) with the time, unless you rest your tablen on a flat surface.
I'm sure it is possible to work without it being connected to a laptop. if you use a "power bank", a power bank is like a back up battery charger for your cell phone, tablet... generally uses 5v (volts) to give your devices some extra juice to last longer. Im pretty sure you can connect the "power bank" to this lightbox, seeing how the lightbox only uses LED lights the battery life in your power bank would probably last you 6-9 hours. I hope this kind of answered your question. Just an FYI... I've seen fairly cheap "power banks" in grocery stores for around $5!
I'm really not liking all of these negative comments because they do not understand the full use of this awesome product. This is not a drawing tablet, you can go buy them somewhere else. I see a lot of awesome anime artists using stuff like this to animate frames.
hi!I would like to know if you can pass images from the computer to the table so you do not have to print them, it would save me a lot of time. Thank you!
I do like it a lot, I just got mine and used it for quite a while. I find it hard to adjust the lightness though, because when I hold it, it will keep going brighter or just turning off completely, even I already lifted up my finger. this is a bit annoying and I need a lot of tries to get the right strength. What the instructions show me seems to be another tablet, the picture looks different and it says it was chargable, what it doesnt seem to be, cause no matte rhow long it was plugged I won´t be able to turn it on without the cable.
+ronja gehtdichnichtsan about the instruction: there are couple of light boxes in there, please feel free to find right model name. about how to use the L4S: Power on: tape the switch gently and quickly. Power off: tape the switch gently and quickly again. Adjust the brightness: keep pressing switch after power on, it will go brighter, release your hand, then keep pressing switch, the light box will go dimmer. Any need about the light box, you also can contact our customer service. the email address is service@huiontablet.com, please attach your order information in your first email, then they can find your order quickly and help.
One question, I am using one I bought in Ali express, the light is blue and hurts the eyes a little, is the light on that light pad blue? does it hurt your eyes?
I want to use this as a notebook, if possible, I'am wondering if this can save files on the device itself and transfer to computer? can it work without plugging in a computer? and how, sorry I just didn't know about this stuff and would like to learn more. :) Thank you
@@HuionCN I was going to ask this question myself...I bought a LS4 to use as a flats source for my imaging telescope and it's kinda useless if I have to keep it plugged into a USB source...I can prolly make do with it "as is" cos the USB cable will be long enough to plug into my camera's USB port...but it's not as convenient as being cable free. I had a look at the LB4 and it's double the price of the L4s. edit: the so called "user manual" included with the product is woeful to say the least...you live and learn.
Its looks awesome! nice design with the leds on the sides as a background light. I would love to see the same thing inter-graded into programs like photoshop. Do you think this will be an option later on down the track?
+DC240Z we may plan to do that, but not now. actually we had made such kind of sample, but seem that are not so many customers need such item (tracing light box + drawing graphics tablet together).

Thanks, I have it sorted out. I ordered the LB4 for $90.00. It's the one that you don't need to keep it plugged in. It's the ion Battery. Thank you though for helping me make my decision.

Well this is probably a very rookie question for you... I was about to purchase the h610pro, when i came accross the l4s. What are the cons of drawing using a led monitor tablet like l4s, instead of drawing on a typical tablet like 610pro? If the pressure sensitivity is similar, then i can't think of a reason not to buy this instead of h610.
+Akis Vartzikos L4S is a light box, not graphics tablet or graphics monitor. We connected computer with L4S in the video because we want to show L4S can get power from computer. When you trace something on L4S, it will not show at computer.

Can you upload a picture from the computer to the background?
How well does it shine through regular printer paper?
i have this one too. Only too usb. Can't you realy connect this one into a socket? And you can use any kind of paper you want! I love this one!
+Rinske's kleur en hobbyhoekje you can connect one into socket if you have usb wall adapter
