  • In this in depth review we take the benelli TRK502X out for a tour through the great Australia forests to give you a thorough insight on what it's really like to own this big benelli adventure motorcycle.
    Almost exactly one year on from the original test ride and review of the mighty Benelli TRK 502 X, we thought it would be a great time to do a follow up video
    So I hope you are enjoying this series of motorcycle touring and information videos on the mighty Benelli trk502x
    As always, it's fantastic to again do a motorcycle adventure riding tour, and on and off road test ride & review on this amazing 500cc twin cylinder motorcycle.
    Hope you guys enjoy it, and as always, if you do, or even if you don't, I would love to hear your thoughts please, so I can create better videos moving forward. Thanks for watching, and... see you out there.

    I've had my TRK502X for a couple weeks and love it. I'm glad I'm not the only person who gets nervous about the fuel gauge. Great video!

      😆 Big Vards, thank you for your input, and I'm also glad to hear that I'm not the only one having the fuel gauge issue

      @ruimelo8415 I remember the very first time I did a long ride on the TRK.
      I was around 50km from a gas ⛽️ station when it started flashing empty! 😢 😆

    If you want to improve your videos:
    No music in the background
    More structure, in start layout what you are going to tell and in what order.
    But all in all good vid, and thanks for subtitles!

    Btw the tool kit should be under the rear portion of the seat held in by a rubber band type thingy, just needs the key to pop that section of the seat, the riders saddle doesn’t need to be removed.

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Mullers48, Unfortunately, my benelli has the toolkit mounted adjacent to the front section of seat.
      I remember when I first bought the bike I knew it had a toolkit but couldn't find it, until I accessed the battery one day, and there it was 😃

      @mullers48 Yes, weird, Will have another look when I get home. Thanks for mentioning it as it is a minor thing I know, but something that bugged me 😆

    Great video moto, enjoyed your review, l have the 502x and live in Thailand and it’s a great bike if like you say a bit on the heavy side, l changed the front and rear sprockets from 14/44 to 15/42 so now the revs are a little less frantic at faster roads cruising speed. I’ve seen reviews of the new 702x from uk tubers and must say l would probably swap my 502 for a 702x but have no idea when they will be released in Thailand. I wait in anticipation 😅

      Hi Darryl
      I live in thailand too now. Unfortunately, I just sold that bike in Australia, have an ADV350 now 😃
      Yes, the bigger engine benelli has been widely anticipated, I will almost certainly try one myself.
      As I write this am currently on a riding tour with a small group, honda nc 750, kawasaki versys, honda adv 750, from Samui to Buriram for the GP
      Thanks for your comment 👍 ride safe,

      No kangaroos problems in Koh Samui where I live now, nutty, but have the same issues with tourists too 😃

    Great video as always.. Have you tried adjusting the lever angle more forward/lower to the ground.. So that your hands, wrist and arms are in line from shoulders to the levers? That makes a huge difference! That way you won't feel like your reaching over to pull a lever in. It would be more like your fingers are already naturally over the levers, just pull back 😉
    If you end up selling the mighty 502, what would be your next bike?

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the info ADISBURZIC, like dirt bike style, will give it a try thanks 😊
      As for next bike, we'll...I'm actually back in Thailand now and have just got an Honda ADV350, which is basically an off road capable scooter with a proper motorcycle frame.
      It's awesome, but it can't go places the Benelli TRK can go.
      Fair chance I will get another one here too

    Apparently the 1st trk 702x landed in Australia this week. It's currently getting complied to Aussie standards adr or some fancy acronym :) which will be hopefully available to purchase in the next 4 to 6 weeks. (As per conversation with a Benelli retailer)
    Also the trk 800 is expected land in October and after compliance, should hit showrooms in January 24!
    Couldn't get any pricing info out of them 😎

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great information thanks 😊
      Can't quite understand why there is both a 700 and an 800??
      Will be interesting to see if they price them under the CF moto range

    • @ADISBURZIC
      @ADISBURZIC 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mototouro I think its simply because of the adventure bike boom in the last 1.5-2 years. They will need to be carefully with pricing both the 702 and bigger brother 800. Given that the 502x is 10k roughly, I'd expect the price to be 12-ish for the 702x. Perhaps a gorilla more respectfully for big bro 800... Hope im wrong and pricing is much better.. Suzuki vstrom 650xt territory sits at 14k ride away. Big contender for that price range imho. Tuff pricing market, interesting to see how they will get it right!! Either way 2 up. Keep smiling 👍👍😉

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @ADISBURZIC I can already see the TRK502X being a stalwart cheap alternative if they keep producing them.
      The company would seriously be foolish not too.
      Not everyone wants a ridiculously priced over spec adventure bike for big$
