Beautiful mate thanks for watching and all the best with your one there
The 911 is strong too
O know some some 911 with 1518 engine and are even stronger
@@nicolasp7395that would be interesting. Mines the later 130hp n/a om352 it’s powerful enough but the there’s a huge gap between 4th and 5th gear more gears would make a huge difference to it
@v8aj I have a 1114 and a 1518 both with om 352a turbo. 1518 is turbo from factory but the 1114 is modified and now is the same engine as the 1518. The difference is that here all have low and high in the differential so we can say that they have 10 gears ahah. Five low and five high
Considerably better condition than the many that are still used daily in Africa.
Mate, good truck but the bloody windscreen could do with a clean. Well what there is of it. LOL. When you could not get her out of the rut I was thinking go get the Zetor then I realised that the Zetor is only 2 wheel drive and no blade for extra traction weight. Thank god for the centauro. Cheers.
Hi Bruce. The Same pulled it with the back brakes locked on. Powerful old tractor
Hey mate was great to see the 1924 Merc move. When it started the left headlight came on but when it was going it went off. Was this the next model up from the 1419 model. They had antenne on the front guards. Cheers. 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Peter sorry for late reply. The headlight came on because they are turned on with the ignition key switch and I was hot wiring it to start it so probably crossed it also. Yes they were the bigger version of the 1418
@@stevesplacedownunder thanks for the reply don't be sorry mate you probably been busy. Cheers👍👍👍👍👍
It was pretty obvious from the last video that it wasn't a truck from the year 1924 🤦🤣🤣
Yes that’s right. But they keep going on about it🤣🤣
@@stevesplacedownunder

Steve just source rims from Mercedes bus or v series trucks e.g 2233 2235 models , slots in rims can vary, and shape too, modern rim slots look better
Yeah that part won’t be hard. It’s around here somewhere
Yes I know that mate thank you, I did mention this a few times in both episodes
Sound d like stater bud
Great truck to drive around Canberra and piss off a few pollies.
From a time when Mercedes was high quality, not like today's shit

A truck worth saving has many fans, and this is what attracted me to your channel. I wish you Good luck👍
Thank you for watching mate. See what we can do
It runs so well - and replacement parts are probably easy to get. Make it roadworthy?
Yeah mate parts aren’t to bad still. I’d like to get it on the road, not priority just yet but in the future hopefully
Have a cold one on me fella 🍺
Hi mate sorry for late reply. This is magnificent and thank you 🙏. I most certainly will. Thanks again Robert
3000 years later, archeologists will find a Mercedes-Benz truck under the ground; then, they will start its engine and drive it to the museum!

Hi Kym sorry for the late reply mate. Yes it’s certainly much quieter than a GM. The red ute is a 69 Ford Ranchero. Fully imported. My wife and her sister inherited it after a family fried passed
