Nice video Mr. Wick. You needed a yellow #2 pencil in the intro. One of the most comfortable grips right out of the box. I like odd-ball stuff too. Everyone always gives my Beretta 90-Two a double take. Who wouldn't want a P30L, Thanks. 👍👍
This is one of the better reviews I watched before buying my P30L recently. I got the V1 LEM with factory night sights, and I can shoot it surprisingly well, although I wish the trigger was 2-3 lbs lighter.
@@wyominggunproject I'm looking at the Grayguns flat trigger and short reset kit, but their prices are ludicrous. They were already too damn high back when I bought all of the parts they sell for my Sig P226, but it looks like everything has gone up 25% or so since then. My P226 turned out so well I'm tempted to bend over and take it for the P30 parts, but it's like $200 just for the trigger shoe and short reset kit.
There were a lot of other auto pistols that where reliable before Glock. Walther P38 is as the Hi Power. Sig 220, Beretta 92. You can charge the dots from the sight with a flashlight. With Turbo high lumen at least 600 it takes only 1-2 seconds.
Also I really think on top of the Bersa for training some newbies and people with kids with all the safety options, I do think training someone on a LEM trigger will make them a better shooter. Same with da/sa and the p30LS I got because of the price but since I carry a commander size 1911 .45 (again with the new civil defense ammo 78 grains, just nuts what it does) or the Bersa .380 I really love the p30LS for da/sa, sao, or carrying like a Glock to kinda dumb down the nomenclature, great training gun
I had the hk p30 L an the hk45 both in lem trigger system an traded them both for the v3 decoker system An being a left handed person don't have no issues with the button at all even though the vp9 is my daily carry
There are 7 variants. They come with the safety on the left or right side. A decocker on the left or right. A safety without a decocker. A decocker without a safety. Or the LEM which is actually a "single action double action".
p30 LEM here the night sights are no problem! iwb holster all day pulled it out at 3am and they still have glow, it looks like to me the front and back sights both have a tiny center of tritium. the rear sights are just that tiny dot of tritium and the front sight is that and a photoluminescent gas, shine a phone flashlight on them for 10 seconds and they get bright. real flashlight makes the front sight crazy bright way brighter then any radioactive sights i have. its actually kinda cool how bright it gets
VP9 is similar not the same. Despite popularity difference the P30 is built better than VP9 but most folks prefer striker fired and VP9 trigger is pretty sweet. P30 is an update to USP
I own the p30LS after having a p30sk v3 for awhile I wish I never sold that and right now I’m really hoping I can get a usp expert in a LEM and grayguns and Langdon tactical mod for it with the da/sa switch available if I want but man the mods available for the lem with the triggers is insane. Call me a weirdo but I do live in something of an HK Mecca here in Utah. I’ve gotten a uspc .45 safe Queen and p30sk and p30LS new for under $650 from Impact Guns which is just insane. I also really love the p2000 for carry I have owned 36 pistols and while I prefer all metal in terms of feel I replaced all my Glocks with HKs, had to sell my sigs, berettas and 1911s NOTE: The DA/Sa without the safety and the lem can be converted to da/sa very easily and grayguns mods are really affordable. You get v3 with safety it’s much harder or impossible to convert to LEM. The thing about the lem is just knowing it inside and out. I recommend the grayguns videos and the Sean Burrows hk shooting team on his reasons on the usp expert-LEM option. You can get the lem pull down easily with a lighter trigger return spring. Personally I prefer da/sa and hammer fired and to each their own (I carry a Bersa thunder combat plus .380, fantastic pistol) Never had an issue with any HKs and I really regret getting rid of my hk p2000 LEM .40 esp not converting it to .357 sig and lightening the trigger, grayguns flat metal trigger etc and making it an amazing carry gun especially with the new civil defense ammo way down on grains and lower recoil more stopping power, the works. Never had an issue with any HK in terms of reliability . I’m telling you on the lem that the grayguns mods are just all the difference in the world
7.5ish lbs is terrible for your 'single' action trigger. I think you chose the wrong 'V'. Nice shooting 🥶☕ My USP Elite .45 pull is 3.5 lbs. Thats Nice
If Glock is so behind in innovation how is it that Glock is the Number leader in sales? You dont earn that with poor quality, tens of models to suit all tastes in caliber, frame size, barrel length, magazine options.....
I'm pretty neutral on Glocks. The criticism that they aren't innovative is somewhat true, but neither are the vast majority of other manufacturers. The only truly innovative handguns since the original G17 came out are the USP (Extreme durability and the first gun with a light rail attachment), P365 (Slim double stack), Mateba (Low bore axis revolver) and the Alien (Low bore axis Autoloader)

Dammit I forgot the pencil ✏️ 🤣

Thanks. I believe Langdon Tactical do trigger jobs on these and make them lighter. 🤠

Damn. That is expensive.
The HK P30SK V1 is my favorite 9mm. Love the LEM and the magazine versatility with the SK model.
Just saw the exact gun at my LGS, about to trade my VP 9 for it. Had an P2000 LEM years ago and loved it.
The LEM trigger is where it’s at with HK! I’ve got the P30SK LEM and love it. Trying to justify getting the regular or L model too. Good shooting!
Thanks man! You are 💯correct. The LEM is the way to go with the HK’s. Thanks for the comment man.
I might actually trade off my VP9 for a P30L LEM. The VP9 is bedside gun, my P30SK LEM is carry gun. I slept on the LEM trigger for far too long.
I have the P30 V1. Amazing gun.
Its is man 🤠
I prefer the version 3 with a safety. I would like to try a V1 someday.

Funny everyone made a huge deal over the Glock 45 as a duty gun game changer when HK has legit been doing this for years with the P30/VP9
The Decocker is dope along with V3 . Hope you feel better soon. 💥👍

Your correct and he's not. Probably got a good deal because the store couldn't sell a V1.

In my area p30L lem light with 3 17 round magazines 849
Do you like the LEM trigger?
Ive carried a usp 45 since 2001,Always wanted to try that trigger system
I love it. It feels just like the single action on your USP. You should have no problem learning it. Highly recommend. 🤠
Just try not to get distracted by the bobbing hammer in your face
I own a HK P30L V3 with 37,000 rounds true it. Best gun I own by far, if shits hit the fan, it will be my go too gun.
That gun and trigger is great but I like that coat

You should use your middle finger to release the magazine. Raptor claw!
Train as you fight! Gotta love The Suck!
John Wick would agree 🤘🏻
I appreciate the Video and Information on the P30 LEM, Brother. 🤝🏾🇺🇸💪🏾🫡
P30 (not the L) with the Langdon Tactical upgraded LEM is my favorite carry weapon
If you love carrying the P30 LEM, check out the P30SK LEM.
Good presentation. Better than the PPQ?
Recoil is less but the trigger on the PPQ is better.
I’m debating pretty hard about getting one of these vs one with a manual safety.
I don’t like the manual safety version mainly because of that darn decocker button on the back of the slide. I really enjoy this trigger system.
VP9 is similar not the same. Despite popularity difference the P30 is built better than VP9 but most folks prefer striker fired and VP9 trigger is pretty sweet. P30 is an update to USP

Isn't this the same operating system in a SIG P320?
No
I wish they cost in the mid 600’s. They keep going up in price
$695 at my LGS
great intro song
Thanks man. 🤠

My USP Elite .45 pull is 3.5 lbs. Thats Nice
I love the P30 but this model is overbuilt and reminds me of the older "Wonder 9s" of the 1990s that were comically large.
Your comment doesn't make any sense. It's a P30 with a slightly longer barrel and slide. How could you consider this overbuilt vs the standard P30?
@@gilbertopadilla3611 Huh? The P30 platform is too large.
@@tberkoff its a hk45 in 9mm
@@tberkoff Too much gun for you, eh? Better lay off the soy, or take up knitting for a hobby and leave the firearm hobby to REAL men and women!
@@tberkoff Better stay away from full size rifles then. Might just break your widdlow soy arms!
