    *NOTE : If you manage your fusion material correctly (keep samsara in the GY under any circumstances) you can actually reborn samsara in the end phase and put it besides the gryphon so it can use its effect! Something i forgot to go into in this video. So in the end phase you basically get one additional monster negate!

      Phenomenal content brother. Appreciate it, been maining other decks and was picking this up slowly. This deck went from a project, to oh 💩 this deck is real and the variety is fun for a control deck. It’s just about as good as Floowandereeze at control. Keep up the good work 🦉💎

    This is awesome. I think doing this again, but without the fusion would be really helpful just because we don't know when we're getting the fusion, and it'll be applicable for after LEDE

    About the "balls of steel" (edit @7:10) case of Cross-Sheep and Phantom, if the opponent uses Nib and you tribute Phantom, Cross-Sheep on resolution doesn't point to a Fusion monster so you don't get the revive. With OG Yubel on the field you either need to run a second OG Yubel so that Spirit floats, or pop the on-field OG Yubel to get some value but material-wise it almost doesn't worth the trade. With you showing you run the 3rd form, it is doubtful you also run a 2nd brick such as the 2nd copy of OG Yubel.
    This is the reason I say Cross-Sheep feels win-more in this deck since we don't have any good revive target to utilize/abuse. If we get Moon of the Closed Sky (Underworld Goddess link 2) with Fiendsmiths, it's this exact slot in the Extra that now becomes useful for the Fiend-link/goodstuff combo deck you are trying to make.
    Also personal preference, despite the potential floats of the 3rd form I would probably prefer to run 2 copies of the 1st form since it offers the same potential for Phantom, but works much better for the Rank 10 while allowing Spirit to float into Yubel without having to use the omni negate first in order to detach OG Yubel (making it with 2 Spirits can be a bit tricky)
    Finally about Yama's effect in GY, I prefer to use it as CL1 in cases I want to revive/pop a Yubel form (from Chronicle counters, to filling up the GY for Phantom) because that way they don't miss timing. Also I would probably prefer to get Belle'd on Spirit than Yama.

      if they nib you there, you can just sacrifice the cross-sheep revive. its not mandatory. we still have enough fodder to make a second phantom of yubel, + we get the og yubel back on field. the only thing they achieve by nibing there is that they negate cross-sheep, which isnt optimal since you want to have high impact with cards like nib. we additionaly also still have the infernal revive. nibbing there would be really really bad. i disagree on cross-sheep, it really helps to play through stuff, especially droll but i can understand your argument here.
      about the 2. OG one ; im currently experimenting with that. in my post legacy deck profile, i dont play the 3rd form. the reason for the 3rd form being here is soley because of phantom of yubel. i want the endboard to be achieveable by one card, if i dont run the 3rd form, there would excactly be one body too less at the end of the combo.
      and yes - depending on the board state/what youre trying to accomplish you can adapt the chain links to your liking :)
      thanks for the comment and your input!

    • @babrad
      @babrad 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TrinityYGO my point wasn't about Nib being good there, but that Phantom with a Yama instead of Cross-Sheep will produce the same result without burning through your resources (I consider the Phantom copy in the extra you burn for this combo as a resource as well) or needlessly playing into Nib.
      In the end, Cross-sheep lines promote a 2 material Apollo negate in general, but using those bodies you made Cross sheep with would typically allow you to end on Lotus instead + 2 more extra deck spaces (3 if you considered the used up Phantom for the combo). If we combine this with a 2nd OG Yubel, you aren't "forced" to use the Rank10's negate before Phantom/Lotus while it also makes your end board better if you drew any of the used cards and can search Contract instead.
      I know this is a show case of "what 1 card can do", I'm just talking about a more realistic tournament-wise approach (I'm sure with enough bricks you can summon all 3 egyptian gods despite starting with the Yubel engine)
      Anyway, I don't want to sound more negative than I already do, I just don't buy into Cross Sheep yet even though I was really liking pointless cooking like Super Producer :)

    • @TrinityYGO
      @TrinityYGO  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@babrad everythings fine my man, you have a different opinion and thats completely okay!
      i dont think youre being negative, just honest!
      and like i said, i tested a few different variants, also one without cross sheep and i agree that its still really good, cross-sheep is nowhere near mandatory!
      i get your arguments, for me personally, in practical duels, cross-sheep helped me out so much and i can recommend that card it adds versatility and can get you out of tough spots. if youre thinking different then thats okay :)
      im just hyped for the future and the different yubel approaches!
      im planning IRL Duels with yubel in the future (Locals, regionals etc.) and maybe once phantom drops, i can showcase it a little bit better! to judge some gamestates/card usability is sometimes a bit tricky only based off on a one card combo!
      again, thanks for your input!

    • @babrad
      @babrad 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TrinityYGO on another note (forgive my ignorance because I tried Cross Sheep, didn't like it that much, dropped it fast so no real experience) but why would you link away Phantom instead of OG Yubel at @7:30?
      Can't you keep Phantom there, use Yama + Sheep to make Apollo, then Squirmer revive Spirit, Sharvara pop Spirit, CL1 Yama CL2 Spirit get Yubel and revive Spirit (pop Yama on resolution so you cheat the fiend lock) then make the Rank 10?
      You give up Rage but since this combo already uses a card in hand for the Muck discard, if you got any potential extender you can use it gives you Rage. That way it's Nibiru-proof and even without Rage the end board of Apollo (2) + Rank 10 is generally better than Gryphon (both cases in addition to Phantom of course). IMO a fair trade than getting Nibbed.
      I assume it's for demonstration purposes. Would you mind adding timelines in the future so I can rewatch certain combos more easily (for example having a timestamp for each combo) ?
      Anyway thanks for these videos, I am actually thinking of tryharding Yubel a bit to the point I sold my Snakes already (it became boring) and I have 2 big events at the end of the month that I want to do well with Yubel exclusively.

    • @babrad
      @babrad 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TrinityYGO Sorry for spamming you with separate comments, to answer my previous one it's because in case they don't have Nib you just make Rage on top (rewatched the combo video to verify). To be honest I find it very greedy (although I don't dislike greedy plays) and if I was playing anywhere higher than locals I would just stick to the "safer' line. Good to know, especially if you have a Crossout in hand.
      Actual competitive Yubel content is hard to find, most videos are 1 card uninterrupted wombo combo due to hype. I hope you continue this series.
      A final note for tonight, I was arguing the other day about running Sharvara without the Trap (I personally side Escape) and how despite Sharvara not getting its full value is still better that running Shyama (in ideal situations like opening Beckoning, Shyama is better as the standalone Unchained card since it is a free discard). This also made me cut down Squirmer to 2 without giving up targeting protection since I still run 3 total, while Squirmer on its own doesn't work so it was a case "I want to see it sometimes, not all the time". Not running Terra was also wild to them but my reason was to not lose needlessly to Droll, although i believe Droll is sided now so we can get away by siding it out games 2/3 while we enjoy the additional consistency game 1 that can really help with breaking the opponent's board. The worst part was their reasoning for running 2 Pain and that 3 brick you when it's the best card of the deck after Throne (personally i value it higher than Throne due to the OTK potential) and it was there i stopped responding back.

    I play 2 Yubel in my build of Yubel because if you want to summon Yubel after destroying Spirit of Yubel Phantom of Yubel but you don't want have to use Valdrath immediately on monster because you want to try and negate a impactful spell you have to run 2 Yubel. It's a simple and straightforward way to play the deck and it allows you to make boards that can easily opponents without going through long and mentally draining combos.

    Realistically what people could do if they decide to cut Super Polymerization is they can run 2 Eternal Favorite instead of one. However it will not have the your opponent activate monster effect in response to its' activation protection.

    • @TrinityYGO
      @TrinityYGO  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      i could do that but i dont think that is possible to beat with only one card, thats not a yubel problem tho, 95% of one card combos in yugioh die to 2 handtraps.
      but i can maybe try to play with that while having a 2 card combo in hand!

      i think i will make a separate video regarding tenpai dragons! in general i can say we have some tricks that is really good against tenpai.
      The battle reflection from Nightmare pain, spirit being able to special itself from the hand, its quite good, - something other decks dont have.
      but i like i said, i think that topic deserves its own video in the future :)

  • @soundgreyhound

    For the first combo, there is absolutely no point in playing the 3rd form. You can summon phantom by using terror incarnate and yubel and you will resummon yubel from deck with you kill spirit with shavara. Please get that third form brick out of your plays and your deck. For the third combo, why would you link away phantom? Once you get it on field there is no point in removing it to open yourself up again.
    This is still a great showcase of why Nib is not good against yubel post phantom, the HTs we will see is more likely the ones that prevent getting to that point like like ash, veiler, imperm, droll, belle, mourner. Sadly, to add that gryphon falls to 6ths card imperm, board breakers, the works, so that field isn't as resilient as I'd like it to be. By simply working Unchain Rage and chamber into the combo, you are making yourself much more resistant to single card outs.

    • @soundgreyhound
      @soundgreyhound 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you want, you could replace Ultimate Nightmare with a 1 of copy of Mature Chronicle. It's a Monster reborn for yubel, gets anything from banishment to hand (even facedowns) and removal. You can search for it when you open any other 2 card combination of yubel support from phni and lede.

    • @TrinityYGO
      @TrinityYGO  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment and your insight! (Sidenote : Thats why i said its important to watch the Phantom of yubel combo video, so i dont blame you for wondering those things!)
      i specifically play the 3rd form because of the one card combo. i want to end on Apollousa, Rage, Phantom and the new rank 10 omni all with just one card. if you dont play the 3rd form, you wont have enough fodder for the fusion summon into phantom. there would excactly be one material too less in the long run.
      Regarding linking away phantom : if you dont do that, you wont have the abillity to later on go into Soul of rage and/or valdrath (Depending on how you sequence everything) since you highly benefit from the pop you have on the original yubel because of the 2. form coming again. (solving the problem of both having a additional material and fodder for the 2. phantom)
      so if youd like, you can watch the other phantom of yubel video and you understand that a little bit better! i can completely understand why those plays seem weird tho!
      And regarding boardbreaker : if your opponent opens nibiru, boardbreaker to beat excactly that specific endboard and they draw combo while you only open the one card combo, then you sadly wasnt destined to win in the first place. keep in mind that this video is only done with ONE card, any extender significantly changes everything but i want to show how much you can achieve by one card.
      still, even with boardbreaker (considering you played through nib) i dont really see that endboard losing to that that much. against destruction breakers you have muck and evenly/lightning storm are not played anyways because of nib.
      and i need to test mature chronicles more! i think its a really interesting card!
      again ; Thank you very much for your comment, i appreciate it :)
