*NOTE : [Update : the next video like this will have a "live voiceover“ where i explain my thought process behind every play and analyse the game a lot more!] im still experimenting with how i want to do those kind of videos so every feedback is welcome!
About the Unchained Game 2 (@0:54), it's very hard to play with only 1 Sharvara but still the core principles of the deck are the following: - Force Sharvara into play any way possible - Make Droll/Imperm/Veiler irrelevant - Protect your turn from being ended by Ash - Try to preserve a Yama in the GY - If you can, try to play somewhat against Nib (3 card combos) by establishing Rakea early - Your normal summon is either the bait or the huge comeback, never something in between Opening with Prison can limit Yama's potential due to Droll despite adding from the GY. Also taking Rakea makes us very vulnerable to Veiler/Imperm since we committed the normal summon. So instead they should have just used Aruha + Escape. This gets Shyama, that pops Aruha and gets Sharvara into rotation. Linking them away for Yama allows you to use Sharvara's effect to set (CL2) but also Yama to add back Sharvara so you can leave it on the board and not need an additional revive either by Yama or Disaster to perform the Caesar play. This way Ash becomes meaningless in the first 2 steps and Imperm/Veiler on Yama get no real value (a good player would hold Imperm for Caesar anyway. Shyama will be spinned back in the deck if linked away when revived from GY, so you can use it as material then get another lvl6 when Sharvara in hand pops something. It all depends on if you want to end on both traps and Rage in GY, while the end board can't be Super Poly-ed. For examples if you don't care about Bystials and Nib: - Set Prison (insurance), Set Escape, pop with Aruha, summon Shyama, pop Aruha with Shyama, summon Sharvara, Link Yama, set Chamber + add Sarama, pop set Chamber with Shyama, summon Rakea, link Shyama (spinned to deck) + Yama into Rage, normal Sarama, set Escape and pop Rage, Rage add back Sharvara. Here if you don't care about Nib, Sharvara pop Rakea, summon Shyama, make Caesar. Prison can add Abo in hand or anything for a discard or Chamber. However if you fear Nib, you pop Sarama instead because when Sharvara/Shyama are on the field and the opponent uses Nib, you can pop Prison with Rakea, then on resolution of Nib, Yama CL1 revive Rakea CL2 special (Disaster allows you to pop it with Yama and revive both dogs for Caesar, or link Nib away for Muck to still end on Caesar with a discard) If you don't care about anything except Bystials and want Rage on the field, you can pop Prison at any time. So the end board should have been Caesar + Chamber + Escape + an Unchained (even Disaster) on the field to make Escape instantly live. Then about gameplay knowing Yubel well, hitting Gates with Escape to deny the revive as well as the search can be very important, although to be honest if the opponent went immediately -2 to make a Phantom from hand I would have also baited with Ash then on the activation of Throne immediately went for Escape on Phantom so Ceasar would be able to negate the float of Spirit/Yubel while Throne wouldn't "see" the removal of Phantom to give an additional float. Note that Caesar CANNOT negate special summons from Throne or Gates, because it's a boomer Rulkalos negating only Spell/Trap ACTIVATIONS and not Spell/Trap EFFECTS. Rage into SP then would clean house.
you can still activate and pay the cost under skill drain and since samsara isnt on the field anymore - you can resolve the effect! :) thats one big reason why yubel can utilize skill drain so well

i appreciate it and im happy to help! i try to make the next ones a little ''better'' and more focussed on the technical play so we all can learn better together :) yubel is a lot of fun and i want everyone that likes it to use it as good as possible!
Awesome video! I believe you should make a whole seperate video talking about side decking and different approaches more in depth! It would be super interesting and useful. How do you feel about super poly regarding the rising amounts of mirror match ups we are going to be taking, or atleast 1 spot for an eternal favorite
the thing about the mirror is that superpoly basically has the same ''Problem'' Its good as an interruption but not great as a boardbreaker since phantom cant be used as fusion material and the endboard often times only has phantom present as yubel monster. so in order to get value out of spoly, you need to bait your opponent to use phantom which is a little awkard.
Love your videos as always! Been helping me a lot with my Yubel deck. Still trying to get my phantoms though. 😭Still not sure how I feel about the princess line. Are you liking Duelittle Chimera more than Amblowhale?
Took Yubel to my regional this weekend, did pretty good with 6-2. Phantom went insane and so did Chaos Angel. Never considered the Chaos Angel into Varudris. That’s pretty sick. Was playing the Princess lineup. When do you go for it? I’ve mostly been ending on Gryphon
good job!! congrats :) and i usually only go into the gryphon when i know its a hard counter against a specific match up since it can fold pretty easily to cards like dark ruler for example. (its great to make against tenpai)
Im currently playng only one phantom and 2 thrones because the deck is sooo expensive. To boost the consistency I play 2 piri rei maps, what do you think? Also, I cannot cut super poly, that card is insane in this deck, going second having only 1 yubel on the field can win you the game on the spot!
I, how can you play around nib when you have access to throne and lotus + beckoning beast ? If we start with the normal summon beckoning, we will necessarily have Yubel, terror incarnate and beckoning on the 5 summons and the opponent has a free nibiru ?
If nib is all they have in that spot it doesn't really do whole lot. Sure they can clear your board, but you should have 2-3 effects that grab cards from the GY at this point so you just build it again. You'll end on a slightly weaker board compared to if they hadn't nibbed you, but not by much. If you _are_ worried about nib and you can do it, just make an early Apo or phantom.
you will have so much recursion and grind game that the nib basically does almost nothing :) just save the gates and follow a combo to threaten an early phantom - so they have to use nib when YOU want it and not when they want it!
You already know Konami are making all the new Yubel support UR to make up for the fact that Yubel, Terror Incarnate, and ultimate nightmare are only Normal and Rare rarity in Master duel
You mean during the replay? The thing is i would have to pause a few times because the replay is very fast. Wouldnt that destroy the ''Flow'' a little bit? i mean i can try, im still trying to find my way/style of doing those videos :)

@@TrinityYGO I assume a similar style to DBGrinder would be more familiar. Stopping a replay on specific points to insert there your thought-process behind the next move is much easier to follow when the board in right in your face and the visual presentation is always more powerful. This is particularly true if you mention what you know from the opponent's hand, what you want to play around, then evaluating if you played around the right card or got blown out by a card you didn't expect. I also want to say, even lost duels can be very informative. Not a misclick or a huge misplay because you didn't pay attention, but doing everything you could (and not unreasonable moves validated only by post-game knowledge) yet not being enough, for example a Snake grind, or playing around a card so much it actually causes you to lose said duel. I don't mind turbo speeding through the replay, but like in DBG videos, my experience is that I get a typically good analysis, especially on meta trends (what people run, expect or play around etc) that makes the explanation DBG gives the star of the show instead of the replay itself. Of course this would mean you won't be able to give us 3-4 duels and the average duel will got 2x to 3x the amount of time compared to now, so my suggestion is to watch other TH-camrs for inspiration and do what makes you express yourself better, but also ask for an honest opinion/critique people you know they are familiar with how TH-cam works to optimize your content (I've stopped editing/managing videos since 2018, but viewer engagement such as "most watched part" "most skipped part' "part that generated the most comments" etc are invaluable tools).
