*I uploaded this video yesterday night but noticed an audio bug in the latter half, today i fixed it as best as i could and uploaded it again! so a few of you may already seen that but now its free for everyone! If you already know what the fiendsmith stuff does and are familiar with the combos the fiendsmith can bring on its own, you can skip to 9:15 where the Yubel-Fiendsmith combo begins!
One card you might like to consider is Moon of the Closed Sky. Its a generic light fiend link 2 that can be linked off into the fiendsmith link 1. Its a neat way of accessing your fiendsmith engine with just 2 effect monsters
Incredible. Once again you put so much thought into these combos. Like to be able to think ahead and recognise that there's an infinite follow up loop with the Fiendsmiths, not even I thought of that, I just learning so much from you. And it's such a broken resource to have too. You can even use the 2nd effect of The Fiendsmith to remove something for free on follow up turns and it doesn't affect the combo either.

I agree! the problem is, phantom is also releasing in the near future and i still have to do some LEDE stuff.. its just way too much stuff lined up but im trying to do everything as fast as i can so i can cover everything! :)

I just wanted to get your thoughts on the potential with Mirror Resonator as a niche card in this deck, as it's a light fiend that can be searched off nightmare throne if needed (assuming you don't need to search a lotus or beckoning) that can get you into some fiendsmith cards and it can SS itself under the right conditions. Weirdly could open up the deck to some synchro plays aswell even though the extra deck is pretty full already. Also loved the vid so subbed
i actually kinda like that card! i do think there is potential but that would require a lot of testing! i keep that card in mind. maybe you can do some funny stuff with that!
Question on ruling, if I activate the destroy effect on nightmare pain against the defender forever, would that still give the destruction effect even tho it cannot be destroyed? 🤔
if your question is if you can still search even tho the monster isnt destroyed then ; No, the monster has to be destroyed for nightmare pain to search you something, its because it says ''And if you do'' the first thing has to happen for the second thing to activate basically :)

That’s actually a really nice question. For now I would carefully say : probably not. I think the red dog is the best when your normal summon can benefit greatly from it, while it’s okay to pop beckoning beast if a veiler/imperm is activated against it, I don’t know if it’s worth it to play more red dogs for that. Otherwise the red dog only gets value once you get your yubels in rotation and in that scenario you’re more often than not already in a place where you can just make yama and search the red dog! But maybe once the banlist (hopefully) released the red dog, I will change my opinion! Thanks for the comment!
I feel like the more released "support" for Yubel we get further and further from trying to force our opponents to kill themselves with NP and attacking into Yubel monsters. That said we're no longer running Loving Defender, even if we don't get Phantom for a little bit here is this deck better evolved into the negates and attacking that way, are we kind of getting away from getting our opponent to dmg themselves. I do feel like it is better to have negates plus like on this board the 1 Yubel with NP out so you're pretty well protected all the way around during your turn, and during your opponents turn.
Nice combo video but there's a slight oversight. When you summon Infernal Grave Squirmer, you use his pop effect to destroy Terror Incarnate. Instead of that, you can just link away your Squirmer and yubel for yama so even if you do get nibiru, you have a play. Terror summons when it leaves the field so use your opponent's resources to get your summons. Also also that means you can cut cross-sheep and add Moon of the closed sky to bridge into your Fiendsmith side of the deck when you open just Yubel cards. Once again love the video, this deck is going to be insane when it fully comes out 😁

I do the pop effect just to have the extra body in grave for phantom of Yubel :) Sadly terror incarnate does not trigger when you link him off since he misses timing! So at the end there would be 1 body missing if you want to complete the full combo. Nib in general is a really ineffective handtrap against this deck because of all the GY recursion, that’s a big reason why I like this deck! I’m still testing/learning a lot and in the future there are also videos planned on how to play around certain stuff! Yubel is so much fun and I can’t wait until the support is fully there! :)

The dbb (dark beckoning beast) is really nice, tho opening of the spirit gates is lowkey even more insane. That's why some people (me included, since recently) started playing 3 spirit gate + 2 dbb now instead of 3 dbb. Normal summoning dbb is nice, you get 2 bodies + spirit gates at minimum, or 3 bodies with discard. You can't access the Yubel engine from there but you can still make Yama and get sharvara, or if you play fiendsmith you can make moon of the closed sky with 2 dbb and do the full fiendsmith combo, so you still play some. But dbb is an imperm magnet. If you open dbb + samsara for example, it's very tempting to normal dbb, search spirit gates, then extra normal samsara. But then if your dbb gets imperm-ed, you just pass... You also lose the extra normal, so can't even normal samsara d lotus. Spirit gate is really insane tho. As long as you have legal target in GY (like a dbb), you can discard something and summon back whatever you discarded. This makes spirit of yubel for example a really really good draw if paired together with dbb/spirit gates, cuz you can discard it and special it, and get nightmare pain, So you can access your yubel engine this way. It's just a really good extender in general cuz most of your stuff are 0 atk/def fiends. You can even discard samsara lotus and special samsara lotus if you already used your normal somehow previously. Even if you draw the normal Yubel + dbb, it still plays. You can make yama with dbb to search sharvara, And then use spirit gates to discard yubel summon yubel, then sharvara can pop yubel to summon terror incarnate, Even tho it's not nightmare throne full full combo, you still get to do some stuff. So yeah, while it's still possible to be bricked hard, you usually can still play and do something even with awkward hands and unideal starters. And of course, when you go second, having multiple engine pieces like these just help you push through interruptions. If you have nightmare throne + dbb + hard draw spirit gates + spirit of yubel + fiendsmith for example, that's a super cracked hand even if it has no non-engine, can potentially play through a decent board with multiple interruptions.

Not sure how much of an oversight it is, but you don't need eternal favorite (I could go on but just stopping there for now). However, and this is for the niche scenarios which I know will come up in the near future, you should run the chamber of the unchained and focus on using rage in the summoning of apo. When you end on boards with apo, dies irae, phantom, and valdrath you're still weak to DRNM and Droplet, not to mention two darks leaves superpoly a target. So to best play around this you save the trap to chain to the unresponsive by monster effects, then chain dies irae to neg the face-up card.

(I also agree with you that eternal favorite isn’t needed anymore! Playing chamber is definitely better here) And it’s impressive that you catched the nice interaction with dies irae, I also had that in mind because once I read the card, I immediately thought about the RDA "Omni negate“! But like I said I will go over that stuff in a future video with a more optimized fiendsmith deck :)

If unchained red dog comes back to 2 or 3 will you play more than 1 copy?
That’s actually a really nice question. For now I would carefully say : probably not.
I think the red dog is the best when your normal summon can benefit greatly from it, while it’s okay to pop beckoning beast if a veiler/imperm is activated against it, I don’t know if it’s worth it to play more red dogs for that.
Otherwise the red dog only gets value once you get your yubels in rotation and in that scenario you’re more often than not already in a place where you can just make yama and search the red dog!
But maybe once the banlist (hopefully) released the red dog, I will change my opinion!
