0:44 "Oh she's pretty moist, (laughs) moister than a oyster".🤣 Toby you're becoming like the Tony Greig of Speedway. Doing a track report instead of a pitch. Great content mate. 👍
The track looks good. Wider then opening night and it's good to see those small water barricades are gone off the inside of the track. Hope to get back again soon👍
Each event seems to be better and better. It takes time with fresh clay for the track to produce the ideal racing. The next vid shows a bit more insight on that stuff too 👍🏼 -Toby
The track banking really needs a proper discussion. You made a good point about ECR's banking and how it flattens off at the top... Brooke Tatnell told me a few years ago when he was racing at Archerfield that the banking there flattens out too much at the top of the track (he didn't like that) which it also seems to now at Eastern Creek. I think John needs to change the angle on the grader on the high side so it doesn't flatten off which would allow more slide jobs and hooking up the right rear for better traction. This would provide more speed on the long way around and give two or three lines of racing all night long. Also please less water down low so it encourages more cars to go higher and keep it more moist and faster up there! Another great video @sprintcarhub!👌
I will never understand why they don't grade 2 stages of banking adding an extra 5-10 degrees to the wide outer line making it faster and thus competitive with the flatter inside tight line. Seems a no brainer to create this for more engaging racing. Many would remember that Toowoomba was very average racing until the high banks were created.
It’s a new track that has been built during a time of terrible weather in Sydney. Any freshly laid clay takes numerous events to settle in the best of circumstances. But yes - the Dunkin’s are some of the best at track prep! Thanks for watching! -Toby
Toby - The official name for your screwdriver is a "Dirtometer" invented by Speedway Grand Prix commentator and former rider Kelvin Tatum who has been using one on the telecasts of the British Speedway for many years. lol
Well Toby ol mate another great in site into the new Syd track what happened to young Lauchie did they get lost on the way to Sydney did I see Matt Dumsey in the 57 car having a crack
I think Lockie/his team posted that they weren’t confident on coming down with the weather forecast not being ideal. Yep, Matt Dumesny was there but wrecked early in the feature. -Toby
Try a "soil penetrometer" Toby. It might cost you $300-500 bucks but it will tell you meaningful information that you can analyse track compaction throughout the night... 👍
Can someone explain how these teams can finance their appearance at venues so far apart in distance. The prize money is so low. Must be the sponsors who carry the day. Thank you sponsors.
A lot of teams are supported mainly by the car owners external incomes, along with sponsors that can be in the form of cash or product sponsorships. Our sport has a fantastic racing product and I hope we can continue to grow in order for it to make more sense to compete financially. -Toby
I agree with the other comments here. Too much music and not enough engine noise. Although on the bright side we did get to hear the noise of the grader engine which was uninterrupted with music. Come on Toby ditch the music for the next segment please.
@@SprintCarHub I know you’ll take everything on board. I really think that you’re doing an unreal job and improving all the time, keep it up and do yourself proud.

I love it. Fans and officials don’t understand qualifying to have the same appreciation for single car qualifying unfortunately. I’ll be making a video on that in time, too. Thanks for watching and commenting mate. -Toby
@@SprintCarHub i can understand it for big shows like world series and the national title but for a club show i think 3-4 cars at a time would be more acceptable and wont chew up so much time

Thanks for keeping us updated, new track changes everything for everyone. Makes for good racing when the old hands were use to Parmata SW.
Thank you, another good video. Looking fwd to night 2. You are making lots of fans happy.
That’s what we want! I love reading comments and even being sent constructive criticism so that our content is exactly what fans want to see.

I dont think thry expected you to use it on a Sprintcar Track so little chance of getty your money back. Lol
Appreciate the time and effort you put into bringing us these great videos Toby! Looking forward to the next one!
I second that Kristen. Toby is doing a great job 👏 👍
Sprintcar Hub, proudly brought to you by Stanley Screwdrivers where moisture searching is our game.
Loving the drone footage, great stuff Toby 👍🏻
Hahahaha hahahaha, great post mate!!
Thanks, Geoff!
Maybe we need to contact a screw driver manufacturer to be the OFFICIAL SCREW DRIVER OF SPRINT CAR HUB 😂
Your going to go along way with your channel and business good on you
Thanks, Darren. We’re really enjoying building this channel and are glad you’re supporting it.

Crack out the car keys next time for track test 🤣
My car key isn’t 300mm long though 🤷🏼♂️ 😂

would have been better if the raw motor sounds were used in stead of music, come on mate it is motor racing at its best, lets hear the v8s
