Great vid! Very clear instructions. I need to route some wires underneath the console for another 12v socket to power something and this video helped me out a lot

Ha, I'm not a "TH-camr". If I don't have something worthwhile to post, I won't post filler content.

Clearly... would love to see everything you can share about the AWD wagen build!

From your experience messing around with interior stuff...do you know if it's possible to take the original MK6 GTI A/C control module like you have in this car, and install it in a MK6 Golf R? The Golf R has a different A/C control module, and unsure if the cable in the back work for both. Figured you might know. FYI...I much prefer the simple three knobs for A/C control and other stuff, to the push button ones on the MK6 R and newer models.

@@skz3792 I got used to it without it and now it would just annoy me with being there

Thanks. Would this same method work on a mk5 golf?

Just wondering, if I disconnect the battery before hand will i save the trouble of having to reset the airbag sensor?

    • @awdwagen5870

If you disconnect the battery beforehand and let it sit for a few hours to clear the memory, you can do this without having to reset the airbag warning light.
