What is the roller slide around the handbrake called?! I've just done this and mine has disintegrated and I need to replace it but cant find one if I dont know its name 😅

Hi i'm about to install a armrest like this one in my Golf MK5. Do i need to take of the plastic that goes over the handbrake or is it possible to slip it over the handbrake at the same as i getting the center console lined up with the bolt holes in the floor of the car?
I’ve spilled a cup of coffee latte in the cup holder and it is starting to smell. Once that is out the way. Can I gain access to the cup holder fella ?

Well, to be more precise, it is not about the letter but about the sound. For example, united - starts with u, but pronunciation is "ju", so we have "a united". Cheers

Alessandro Regio it’s tricky but I did it and it is a bit tricky but when you’ve done it, it’s actually quite easy
So after removing the armrest, can ya just lift off the middle plastic part with the cup holders and bits?
