Thanks so much for posting this, I am looking to buy one of these machines and this has been super helpful. I used to live in Singapore and bought my first espresso machine there, my trusty Rancillo Syliva. Now I am looking to replace my Rocket Appartmento with this one. Looks amazing!
you will not regret. The playability and customisable options are amazing! An alternative to Decent with actual boilers in them and not just technological products.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore hi would you recommend the Super Digital or Super Electronic? I am leaning towards the Digital ( with the lever) as I only make 2 to 3 coffees a day. Thoughts?
Thanks for the meticulously crafted and informative video, CY. What would be interesting would be how porosity of the puck screen will affect extraction, e.g. 100 microns v. 50 microns, and its different effects on different beans.
Thanks for the demo CY, a bit intimidating a machine that has so much programming similar to the Decent, especially for older people like myself. Looks like it can also be quite fun to play with all the possible profiles too.
yeah it's intimidating at the start but once you have experience about brew pressure and what it can do. I think I will do setting on constant pressure first and test.
Did you end up buying one? If so how do you find the build quality? I'm considering this or the digital version (manual lever on the e61). I think the electronica can do volumetric not just flow control? I'm a bit concerned cming from a 10yr old and still bullet proof Rocket Giotto and the plastic drip tray etc leave me with a ?
Hi CY, the Offset Temperature is the difference between the temperature at the boiler, compared with the temperature at the grouphead or steam/water spigot.
FINALLY, a machine i change the copyright settings on! lol. so the amount of settings you can change for a shot do look interesting. BUT, i think i would get annoyed at setting them all on the small touch screen.
I can't get past that screen, whoever said let's use a $5 screen from the 90's should be fired. Maybe it looks better in person, it's greyscale (I see color, lol) 😬🤷♂️. Look at the screens on the grinder next to it or other grinders, Breville touch, in a different class. You don't need a OLED screen but come on this is bottom of the barrel quality.
Haha I know right. But as long it works and I don't need a colorful screen to do the adjustment, I need a sensitive, functional and long lasting LCD panel.
Finally a good video on that machine! I'm thinking of buying one and none of the resellers I've seen have bothered to do such a deep dive. Thank you!

@@maheenm Only the electronica you will get the full functionality.
Great first shot, a beautiful and fun espresso machine, nicely done. Always appreciate your videos, I agree with you, family first

Thank you for trying all these machines
my pleasure Lynda!

Interesting machine, never heard of this brand!
Jean. the collar for the df64 will be mailed out tmr.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore Awsome !
This brand is approved by the Instituto Nazionale Espresso Italiano for making authentic espresso
what is the cost here...seems like a pretty cumbersome setup and much taller to consider for under cupboards use.
Hi CY, the Offset Temperature is the difference between the temperature at the boiler, compared with the temperature at the grouphead or steam/water spigot.
This is the electronic version not the digital the digital has lever handle
yes its the electronic version
keylock is there so that you can clean the display without activating anything
thinking which one to buy, Digital or Electronica version?
Electronic allows full volumetric control and auto stop and one less thing to service.

Hi:)
How high can steam pressure go? I'd like more pressure like a commercial machine vs the 1.2bar my current machine offers.
This pressure on the Domobar can be adjusted. No problem going to 1.5 bars at least.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore excellent thanks :)
Were you impressed by the build quality (internal and external?)
@@michaelrobinson9643 VBM is ok.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore VBM ARE TANKS
@@MrJusmobile yes they are.
Thanks for the video. Very nice details. 8 months after what is your opinion on this expresso machine?
I will be doing a follow up soon on the domobar super.
What's the cost for a fine machine like this?
