Honestly ,my understanding is not that at all. On my point of view is talking about the insecured we are on giving the apropiate meaning on the facts we are leaving. Are they good?are they bad? Is it a nuclear bomb? Or the 4th of july?.most of the verses are very contradictories, naked on the cold sun and many more. So at the beginning he is confused but at the end he is in control ,giving value to the good side because of the love ( Sweet everything)and getting the roman candle to provide some light and finally be able to difentiate the good thing from the bad things. But this is just my understanding as a sinple guy from Spain.
