- I’ve been using the Insta360 Go 3 since it’s initial release and it’s an action camera that’s been insanely reliable, portable, versatile and just all around super fun to shoot with. I’ve used the Go3 mountain biking, onewheeling, hiking, on our trip to Gatlinburg and just for a lot of general everyday use and B roll type footage! The stability and image quality of such a small camera still blows my mind, it has so many fun accessories to make this camera even more portable, and a great variety of filming modes! My personal favorite mode in the Insta360 Go 3 is the freeframe video which gives the BEST stabilization using Insta360s Flowstate stabilization and allows you to reframe the video in post depending on whether you need vertical or horizontal video! The battery life on this camera has also impressed me for such a small camera allowing me to use this on a whole day of filming, even as my sole camera for the day! I’ve had no issues with the camera overheating, freezing up or anything out of the ordinary while using this camera. I think it’s great for somebody whose not only looking for a great small action camera, but wants a camera for a family, vlogging or in scenarios where you might not need a full blown action camera, but something small, portable and easy to use and shoot with!

I appreciate that your video was all about what it does well for you, instead of what a lot of other videos do -- whining about what it doesn't do. I've had mine for a few months, and the predecessor Go 2 for about a year before that. They're good cameras for when you want something that will do 1080/1440 and mount very creatively. And when I travel, they fit in a small pouch and we're off.

It’s honestly possibly my most used camera at times because of the ways you can shoot with it. I had the go2 as well and packed it everywhere because it was so portable. That’s why I love these cameras is they’re so easy to take with you to use for just about anything 😁

The point of battery life reminds me of my X3. I record and record in 5K and have yet to reach 50%. Together with the eae of editing with the app. I feel insta makes the best package out there 👏
Absolutely! I think insta360s battery life blows any other brand out of the water. It’s never disappointed me

No problem! Thanks for checking it out! I normally shoot in the Freeform mode at 1440 and I like shooting at 50fps. I had this camera on for over 2 hours but actual video record time was about 90 minutes and I still had some memory and battery left. Not much but some. I know it can shoot at the full 2.7k for the slightly higher quality footage but I prefer the higher stabilization. I would check what my camera estimates when it’s totally empty but I’ve got some footage on there at the moment 🙂I’ve read reviews where people film as long as almost 3 hours at 1440/30fps as well.
@@BoardsBikesAndHikes You do sport shootings so i understand for the stabilization. I'm more interesting about vlogging, so quality is more important i think. 3 hours is good enough. Thanks for your answer.

thanks for the video man…just wondering if you have any issue with the camera when your mountain biking? can it fall? just because it only have that magnet to stick it in place.
Nope, I’ve never had it come loose or fall when biking. So the magnets essentially pull the camera into place, but it actually has little metal clips that fully lock it in and hold it, so there’s no way it can come loose😁With its size/weight it’s honestly become my favorite mountain bike camera to use.

Thanks. I use this thing everywhere. Using it in the chesty for the MTB was my favorite way to film in the summer. But I take it everywhere. Necklace mount and hat mount are awesome. I love the versatility

Thanks for checking it out! I just have it mounted to the quick release mount that comes with the camera and have that attached to the insta360 chesty. Easily my favorite mtb camera setup for chest pov. The cameras so light it keeps the chesty from bobbing all over the place

With the camera out of the action pod it is AMAZING on a helmet, super lightweight and you don’t notice it. It fits on a full face or XC helmet
What config do you use for MTB?
Chesty, with the quick release mount and just the camera on it. Then I’ll throw it in the action pod to charge between laps.

For the most part I just leave it in the stock settings with the vivid color profile and it’s always turned out pretty solid. I haven’t adjusted/tweaked anything really. I’ve thought about experimenting with it more
