Taking you along for the adventure and showing you how to maximize your time and money while you’re there
My name is Alex Turner and I Run this Channel Boards Bikes and Hikes! Snowboarding has for sure become my biggest passion, and I hope to one day live somewhere where I can do it more frequently and for a longer season.I love to bike, hike, kayak, and anything outdoors really. I just love to travel and be outdoors; I don't like to ever slow down. My goal of this channel is too adventure as often as possible and take you, the viewer, along for the ride. Not only do I want to show you all of these places and experiences; but through my own journeys I want to be able to recommend different destinations, resorts, as well as the gear so that I can bring you the best of the best! and if you're planning a trip I can have content to better help you know what's there, what it looks like and hopefully some other tips as well!

FUNSLOPE? We Need these at US Ski Resorts!
The Funslope? The most fun ski or snowboard run you will ever do 🤣 so far all of the ski resorts we’ve visited in Austria have these little “fun” sections for kids and family, designed to help kids learn basic ski or snowboard skills but also make it fun, essentially like a skiing or snowboarding obstacle course! This particular one at schmittenhöhe ski resort, was the longest and most fun one yet. Can we get these at US and North American Ski Resorts please?

How To Maximize Control on YOUR SUMMERBOARD
Ive had mine for 2 years, no more than 20 days on them...but both toe adjuster straps broke after a really cold day (-15C). Glad i had extra straps on hand but honestly THAT should not happen. Feeling dissappointed tho.
@@mbuccellato13 definitely reach out to their customer service department and they’ll get you some extra toe straps. That what you’ll have extra in case it happens again
@@BoardsBikesAndHikes i am, but its JUST outside the 2 year warranty. Hopefully dont have to buy them. Also, can you pleas show how the buckle locks? I cant figure it out and somehow im always knocking mine loose.
I have been using these for the last few months, now seems to have an issue when stepping in on the left foot. One side clicks in solid and the other still pulls up and down any ideas ?
@@JamesCorrall in the box there should be a box of binding grease you might need to grease the hooks. But I’m not sure
But it certainly helps you get to get on the peist where all the happiness is❤
Yes🙌🏻
Nothing about the pins, locks etc. Poor
@@79sawczuk pins and locks?
This would be such an insane liability in the states. Helmetless Jerrie’s bonking their head on the metal xylophone. Crazy inconsiderate shredders who ride this flat out top speed. Rider collisions. And remember, the run will be packed on a weekend. People sitting in the middle of the run. Especially newer people who often catch an edge.

How is this even legal..... You are getting payed to promote a product then doing a "review"..... I really like the idea of the mechanism and looking for unbiased reviews but it is just sooo hard
@@_aullik so I’ve been running the clews for 3 years. This current year (a year after this video) is the first year clew is an official sponsor. Prior to that I ran them by choice and last season I did have an affiliate deal, but you can have affiliate links to any product. I started using them and made reviews before I was ever fully sponsored by them.
@@_aullik that being said if I didn’t like them, I wouldn’t still be using them after all this time
@@BoardsBikesAndHikes Please try to see this from an outsiders perspective. You are a TH-camr, i know your on camera personality, but i don't know you. I'm asking you to evaluate yourself here in a complete rational way as if you are watching someone else you don't know. An affiliate link is a sponsor, you get money for everyone one you sell. Meaning it is in your personal interest to sell as many of them as possible. How can you convince others that you are actually doing a review and not a sales pitch. Please try to see this from an outsiders perspective. For me this could just as well be a sales pitch sneakily hidden in the neutrality of a review (review-washed so to say). As for your second point. Many sports personalities use the gear they are payed to use. Sure they would not use absolute garbage, but using gear that is a little bit worse than the competition? If that is what pays your bills, why not?
@ an affiliate link is not a sponsor. Yes you earn money but you are not contractually obligated to that product . And at any point I could have created affiliate links for different bindings or event Burton step ons (which I do have in older videos)which technically generate way more money because it’s a pricier investment. So if I was going for this “cash grab” promotions burtons would’ve been the way to go. You can create affiliate links for any product. And I mean any. I’m running these because I enjoy them and believe in the company and product
Flow nx2 fusion for life! Later clewsoer's!
@@rollingedges9469 cool nothing wrong with that
Throw these bindings in the trash..
@@logannowak4010 had the same set for 3 years. I don’t think so
@BoardsBikesAndHikes All that tells me is that you obviously are trash at snowboarding and don’t ride hard at all. You probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a entry level binding vs top of the line binding anyways. If they are so good how many people used them at the x-games or any snowboard competition for that matter??? Keep sticking to the greens and blues bro.

@@MiraLennie-nx6so thank you for checking it out!! I’ve got some follow along workout videos posted now as well
How's they compare to burton step ons?
@@KnowledgeGuala I had the step ons for 2 years prior to switching to these, I’ve now been on these for 3 and I prefer them. 1. You can use any boot 2. I love still having straps for deeper snow days or if there’s an emergency situation and I need to still get out. 3. Easier in and out in my opinion 😊
You could review anything in the world……and you picked a hot piece of turd.
I have the X3 and recently the videos are looking out of focus or blurred. Even shooting at 5.7K 30fps the clarity has diminished. Firmware updated and I have done a factory reset. Have you had any issues after using it for a while.? I have contacted Insta360 and sent them a link to one of my TH-cam videos to see if they can come up with a solution or tell me if the camera has a defect. A lot of money for something that is just coming up on 2 years old. Your video looks crisp I wish mine would look that good.
Biggest complaint for me is that you look like a noob.
For me, it's Scuba

Americans would fall, go too slow and take pictures in the middle of funslope, in America I’m sure it’d be very crowded without some crowd control, making it just another slope
@@FadedThenaHo24 true. You’re not wrong 😅
That wedge is designed to go on the back of the neck pendant, and I find it doesn't actually work because the string is still on the front of the pendant and it pulls the camera up where it was before. It's a bad design!
Would love to see some full workouts on this board.

Do you use the lens guard for your x4? When i use it snowboarding it seems to fog up all the time.
@@Bee_explores I don’t snowboarding but I do for everything else. I know I’ve heard mixing water and vinegar and wiping it on the inside helps.
@ thanks maybe ill just use it without the lens guard since its been ruining my footage, i also have the 1 year flexicare insurance so maybe they can fix it or have it replaced if anything does happen. Have you ever scratched or damaged your lens before?
@ ya it definitely makes a difference, especially in the snow. Just be extra careful. With the flex care at least you’ll be covered. The only time I’ve scratched it in the snow was on trees doing gladed runs. In the snow itself I’ve never had anything scratch them. That being said the flex care makes it super easy, it takes about a 3 week process. Definitely way easier than without(I think total I’ve scratched 3) but I mountain bike with them in the summer and used to not run lens guards for that 🤣
