Your wrong about Ea having the licenses to ESPN the contract expired years ago if anything having them not featured in the game gives Ea more control on presentation features
If Ryan actually watched the trailer instead of coming up with ways to hate it he would have heard they were working with espn for the crowd noise and atmosphere and that’s it no actual espn license no espn CFB theme no espn scoreboard no college gameday , just the espn announcers

While I get what you're saying, lets be objective here. I think what Ryan is trying to point out is that these games are both made by EA and he's noticing a negative trend that could indicate the same trouble heading for CFB as we see in Madden. Could also be nothing.
Also, his intro being the same thing isn't comparable. Ryan isn't selling you a new intro, claiming it's new, improved and guaranteed to blow you away! It's an intro to his brand, and a lot of people like to stick with the same thing for years, rather than rebranding just for the sake of rebranding.

If it was same dev team then sure, maybe you don't trust them because they have a history of not delivering, but that's not the case because again, it's a different dev team. The amount of hoops that the CFB team had to jump through to even make this game possible in the first place can't be overlooked. To boil it down to something along the lines of "Well, these cutscenes aren't perfect so they're probably lazy" is wild

I’ve been following you for a while man and this is a MASSIVE stretch. Are you really suggesting the developers spend hundreds possibly thousands of hours on recreating the same celebrations, traditions, etc over and over just so there’s minor differences after each game? The fact they added so many small details into the game should be celebrated and encouraged. Instead you’re choosing to find any little detail to criticize. At this point I don’t think you even like to play football games at all. It’s like your expectations are so beyond what’s even possible I could show you a real play recreated in unreal engine or frostbite and you’d STILL complain about a lack of immersion or authenticity
You could probably show him a real football play with “CFB 25” slapped on it and he’d find a way to criticize the blocking or a defensive player taking two long to recognize a play.

Tbf while Madden may have earned the hate and skepticism, college looks like a labor of love from guys who really care about the sport. Madden has no direction, while college has seemed to have a stable and concise direction from the jump. Now come two or three years from now, when they have disappointed us time and time again then all bets are off! But for now, I’m fairly upbeat and positive on everything I’ve seen from the college guys (minus gameplay of course). I’m willing to give that team the benefit of the doubt for this year.

LOL I came back just to see what kinds of things you'd make up for this trailer and boy did you not disappoint. My personal favorite this time was the lack of defenders after the touchdown. Nevermind that there is very clearly a player behind them from the obvious shadow, or THAT EVERY OTHER TOUCHDOWN CELEBRATION SHOWN HAD BOTH TEAMS CLEARLY VISIBILE. I'm sure the camera only showing one tiny section of that particular play had nothing to do with it.
I also loved the "repetitive" argument. Nevermind that the game is already far more varied than NCAA 14 even though it was BUILT FROM SCRATCH.

As for repetition, do you ever factor in how big these games are and how much space imaging takes up? There is not infinite space on consoles and not everyone can go spend a couple hundred bucks on a 3 TB hard drive. So yeah, when you render 140+ unique stadiums you are going to have repetitive celebrations and fan/player movements. I don’t know 1 game where every movement is unique.
And the thing is, when kennesaw st scored a touchdown in the reveal, there were defenders in the background for the cutscene. He edited it out because he doesn’t want to look stupid

@@WORLDWIDESOCAL9 I agree that RD2 is one of the greatest games ever made but even then they have repetitive scenes and movements. Every saloon is practically identical. It’s just a way for devs to save space for things that are more important. I do remember being amazed how smooth Rockstar Table Tennis was when it came out so it would be cool to see them try a true AAA sports title.

I'm a Gator fan and I go to the University of Florida. the traditions like We Are the Boys from old Florida and the players touching the gator head before running out with "the swamp, only gators get out alive" and of course, the gator chomp will never be old or repetitive because college football is about traditions and atmosphere. EA Sports was at one point a great company and all their sports games were really good. Now, not even close. The gameplay from 20 years ago is better than EA football games now. What I don’t understand about people like yourself is that EA Sports has been giving us horrible games for over 10 years and you give them the benefit of the doubt because it’s a new football game. Why can’t EA show one damn quarter of football and shut people like myself and Moody up? EA has been using this same tactic for decades and you gonna gobble it up. If they want to shut people up stop with the damn cuts of gameplay and do a one quarter. The game comes out next month right? It must be finished.
The reality is this: EA knows that they have a product that isn’t going to be great. It’s gonna to be okay at best. And as soon as the “football meta” comes and the next form of MUT oooh wee. Have fun then. This will be a train wreck from where I sit. I have no expectations that this will be good, and EA will nickel and dime you for everything.
Go Gators and Go Ducks! The only thing that made me really mad about this Sights and Sounds trailer was that they didn’t include my Oregon Ducks in it. I still have no idea how Autzen Stadium’s gonna look like in-game besides that brief 2 second clip in the first look trailer. They just HAD to include Washington over Oregon, smh. Besides that personal nitpick, the game looks phenomenal! Cannot wait 2 play😎🤙
