That is a really nice new addition to the Scale Trains lineup. I have the BN SD40-2B and it is amazing. I would love to see some Santa Fe SD40-2B's and SD45-2B's done. I grew up on the Santa Fe mainline in northern AZ and saw B units frequently. Thanks
Wow, I was wondering when if AC44C6M models would come out in the River Counter Line. I’m a big fan of these things, especially the Sonicbonnets & DC to AC Waveform units. I encountered 4005 leading an intermodal once back in September 2023.
I'll definitely be getting at least one of these. Gotta support the company so y'all make some classic NS Dash 9's with the black face, or the operation lifesaver paint schemes again too.
I work for NS in altoona PA and just a FYI the AC to DC with the wave logo on the side were built from the Juniata shops in Altoona, Pa. Thats how you can tell if they were built from the Altoona shops or wabtech with out the ac logo on the side. And please tell me you guys will do these in N scale.
This decision is amazing!!! The platform is almost as endless as the Dash 9's. Every railroad now has a rebuilt in their roster. Can't wait to see them in person! Thanks Scale Trains 🚆 👍💰!!!
This is fantastic news. Seen 4002 back on June 2 on a mixer 345 or 355 heading to my neck of the woods down to New Orleans to be handed over to UP. Had a replaced panel on the conductor side. You guys got to do Trinity's early 5850 no end cut outs and 6421 Plastic pellet covered hoppers and colored banded and value cover tank cars especially the UTLX black banded Sodium Hydroxide panda bear 16,000 gallon tankers.
Good informative video. To be very frank, I have never heard about this company ScaleTrains (though am familiar with Kato, Athearn, Atlas, Trix, Roco,Brawa etc).
@@TobiasL1000 The big size loco, has air tanks above the fuel tank and full length plus size from C44-9W,AC44,ES44 standard length also call C60AC or C60/44AC (reduece-power)

How about making the Dash C40 -8 ? Lots of Class 1s had them including NS, UP, CN, and Conrail, CNW etc.. CN still operates some that they purchased from UP. Many many variation posibilites as well as smaller railraods that own / owned these, short lines. I strongly suspect you already have many of the patrs already tooled that can be used from the Dash 8, C39 etc. (frame, trucks, grilles, fuel tank variations etc). To note Atlas HO model of this is 20 years or so old and is NOT a detailed model at all. I'm sure there's a market for the C40 -8 and many subsequent production runs.
Can you eventually offer #4000 with the release (as I call it) paint scheme. The front logo was gold like the number and the side Horsehead logo and long hood rear logo was blue.
The J, another run of HU GEVO's and now these? You guys don't want us NS modelers to have any money, LOL I can't find the pic to be sure but I think I have seen the 4047

I love these mini documentaries about the locomotives because of the uniqueness of different models and railroads.
