I am learning from all your tips atm and creating a profile for ArchAge atm. I got it almost working the way i want it. Thanks for all the tutorials dude.
Thanks. It's been said before that I should write out scripts and not be so rambly but really... that's like WHO I am. :P I have a decent enough voice to do scripted content but I much prefer being more casual and conversational for most of my stuff.
Another great video.. I think half the fun is making the controller work how it feels most comfortable to me. Game looks pretty fun too! Don't change sir; keep on rambling! Never gonna st... Also, would love a behind the scenes.
That's why I always push to have detailed descriptions in the config. I always try to label them as clearly as possible, not just for other users, but for myself too. So when I come back after a break I can look at it and get a refresher, "oh yeah, I put a double press on the grip."
Have you ever tried to emulate a right joystick to be almost the same as emulating a mouse with the track pad? I'm having a bit of trouble with it and it annoys me that there is no sensitivity option and have to rely on the in-game controller settings and advanced Steam controller settings which are weird. If a game has controller support I try to only use controller bindings as some games don't like when you use a controller with mouse and keyboard.
Mouse-Like-Joystick setting but it will never feel as smooth as mouse. I've played some games like that: Skyrim, MGS5, etc. You just have to fiddle all around with in game sensitivity and the settings in steam configuration. It can end up being... ok.
hi egg Can you help me as i'm stuck i play with my steam controller inverted and my gyro inverted ,but whats happening is all the menus in my games where i navigate them with a mouse its now inverted so i struggle to use the steam controller i've tried lots of ways but can't find a way to invert the game but leave the UI interface none inverted so i'm having to switch to mouse to use them. michael
Action Set. I have a few vids on them. You can make an Action Set that switches when there's a cursor on screen and automatically goes back when cursor isn't visible. So, in that Action Set you'd have a normal mouse and when not in a menu, it'd default back to your base Set that has the inverted mouse.
Hi Egg. I'm looking into the steam controller. I'm curious how the right thumb track pad compares to the track pad on the DS4 controller, as far as how precise it feels. Also the DS4 it works, but it's a bit hard to hover a button, then click without moving the cursor off point. How would you compare the steam track pad vs DS4 track pad overall? Would you say it has a higher "resolution" for lack of a better word?
On a Roll. Just came out in Early Access. And no, not really any cool skateboard games, only that older Tony Hawk one. That's why I jumped on this, it reminds me a bit of SKATE with more of a simulation feel.
every time i watch your video i wish the console manufactures would give us this level of controller customization

Cool looking game, and loving all your suggestions for the steam controller. My fave new toy.

Great tutorial video.
The only problem I find with unique complex controls is that after a long break from the game I always forget them.

+The Grey yes. It feels much more accurate and responsive compared to the DS4 (to me)
That's good to hear. Thanks.
Where'd you get that white controller?
+Cosmocalypse it's light blue. A custom paint job by Colored Controllers

kk thanks
Why are you using a trackpad as the movement?
You end up having better control once you get used to it: th-cam.com/video/9V_c-bQRp7k/w-d-xo.html
