    If you are getting leaks at the brass T connection, twist and pull the colar back about 1/2 inch(46 seconds) then insert brass insert and attach.

    I do not have space to properly tighten with a wrench at the 2:00 mark. It works fine, but the faucet is unstable so i need to hold it in place. Do you recommend gluing the faucet to the countertop to secure it?

    • @aquasana
      @aquasana  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nathan,
      Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We do not recommend using glue to create a seal between the faucet and the countertop. We recommend contacting our team members directly at 866-662-6885 Option 1, Monday thru Friday from 8am-5pm CST.
      Our team members will be more than happy to process an order for replacement parts, if needed.

    What if I'm bringing my own dedicated faucet and the provided line doesn't have a simple connection to the one you provided? Any thoughts?

      Hello Robert,
      Thanks for reaching out to us. If you have your own dedicated faucet with no connection, you can try using the Claryum Direct Connect water filter. You can find more information here: www.aquasana.com/under-sink-water-filters/claryum-direct-connect-100329886.html. Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Putting in replacement filters, the green one, if we turn it all the way to the right, no water comes out of the faucet, only if we leave it a little loose. Is that normal?

    • @aquasana

      Andrea,
      Your understanding is correct. By loosening up the seam between the top cap and the bottom sump, the water flow will resume.
      In order to do so, please proceed with the following steps:
      Step 1: Turn off the main water supply underneath the sink.
      Step 2: Detach the sump from the cap, and then re-attach, tightening the cap until it's flush with the sump.
      Step 3: Use a sump wrench if necessary. Be sure to avoid over-tightening, as an under, or over-tightened cap can damage the hardware and cause a leak or slow flow in your system. This process should mitigate that issue.
      Step 4: Once re-threaded and re-attached, test by turning the water supply back on.
      If you have any questions or concerns, you may also contact us directly at 866-662-6885, Monday thru Friday from 8 am-5 pm CST.

    I installed the 3-stage max flow and it worked fine until I changed the filters and now the water comes out very slowly and the battery light keeps blinking (I did replace the battery with the one provided with the new filters). If I re-install the battery the light goes out but it does not change the water flow. What should I do?

    • @aquasana
      @aquasana  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Karen,
      Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The battery will not affect the filtration process. It is designed to emit an audible tone when a new set of filters is needed.
      Kindly proceed with the following troubleshooting steps:
      Step 1: Turn off the main water supply underneath the sink.
      Step 2: Remove the sump from the manifold and reconnect.
      Step 3: Ensure that the connection points align correctly and turn the sump from the left to the right until it stops.
      Step 4: If the sump is not locked in the correct position, it can slow the flow of your system. This process should mitigate that issue.
      Step 5: Once re-threaded and re-attached, test by turning the water supply back on.
      If further guidance is needed, we kindly ask you to contact us directly at 866-662-6885 Option 1, Monday thru Friday from 8 am-5 pm CST.

    How tight is the connection between the water supply tube and the system? Do I insert it in there without any screw to hold it? How about the other side, the faucet tube?

    • @aquasana
      @aquasana  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good Afternoon! A full inch needs to go into the unit for the tubing to lock into place and when connecting into the the brass tee it does have a few pieces to lock into place. Please give us a call at 866-662-6885, option 1, if you are missing pieces or need further instructions. A Customer Service Representative will be able to assist you with your unit. Phones are open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm CST.

    What size tubing feeds the new faucet? I need to tap this to run to the refrigerator which currently uses 1/4". Thanks

    • @aquasana
      @aquasana  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Terren,
      The AQ-5300 Max Flow System is designed with a 1/4" poly tubing from the outlet side and into the faucet. You may tee-off directly from the 1/4" tubing in order to feed filtered water to your refrigerator as long as it handles 0.5 GPM.
      If you have any questions or concerns, you may also contact us directly at 866-662-6885 Option 1, Monday thru Friday from 8 am-5 pm CST.

      Since no one will reply, I found that 3/8" tube goes from water supply to the INPUT side, and the 1/4" OUTPUT feeds the add-on faucet. I installed the system as instructed and nothing comes out. I heard the air pushed out but now water flows. So bummed.

We recommend monitoring the website or signing up for Aquasana e-mails to receive updates on the restock launch for the Claryum Direct Connect.

    I'm in the process of installing the unit, however don't want the battery to alarm after 6 months. Can i simply keep the plastic tag on it, so the battery isn't active? What is the battery powering? Any issues with not using the battery; I assume the system will still work fine? Thx,

    • @aquasana
      @aquasana  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Pete! That is a very good question. The battery does not affect the way the filters work. It is mainly for the timer to go off when the filters need to be changed. Please contact us directly at support@aquasana.com or 866-662-6885, option 1, if you have any further questions. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm CST.
