Because I live alone I rarely go out of my way to decorate or create the cozy ambiance you have. Your videos have shown me that it is just as important to feel good about your surroundings whether you are alone or living with others. Your apartment looks really beautiful and is an inspiration for me. Thank you!
Working from home during the pandemic has taught me that making my apt look nice makes a big difference in my well being. I hope you get inspired to do it as well
I do some chalk pen paintings at my kitchen window. A wreath with Merry Christmas in it or some cute little houses, snow... a holly or pine twig with Christmas baubles or candles... whatever I like that year. Looks stunning and can easily be wiped off in January.
Benita this has to be some of your best cinematography yet! So cozy and relaxing. I also love to use natural elements around my home for Christmas. Beautiful, classic decorations :)
What a beautiful way to decorate - I love the garland that you put together with the white circles. Your gift wrapping is so simple, yet it looks so elegant - I wouldn't want to open the package. I did purchase some reusable gift bags this year - I went with simple white and black bags (very minimal designs on them). I am going to make the snow that you have hanging in the windows, such a great idea - Thank you, Benita! This video gave me a very warm, fuzzy, and cozy Christmas feeling.
i'm not a minimalist but i love watching their videos and there's something about the modern scandinavian style that appeals to me the most. its so sophisticated looking.
Im just through 2mins and 35sec of your video and I had to stop and comment. You are truly an inspiration, love watching your videos early in the morning, they are so calm and peaceful. Your Christmas decor is stunning! Got so many ideas!
I feel so inspired Benita. I only wish you would do a complete walk through tour so we can see all the individual pieces come together in a cohesive form. I adore your style!
This is the third Christmas that I have watched you decorate. Your style is so refreshing and natural. By the way, I love, love, love your short haircut. It looks great on you. I wish you a wonderful holiday season.
Hello, I used to cut out snowflakes on white paper. Wrapped my Grandson's gift with tissue paper and added the snowflake to dress it up - very festive looking and fun project
Inspires me to pare back and simplify my decorating this year. I find I crave simplicity the older I get and have been working on reducing visual clutter, it’s addictive. You are inspirational.❤
I love your Christmas decor videos so much. When I saw this one come out I decide not to watch it immediately but rather save it as a treat for another day. And today I enjoyed the treat. The paper decorations are lovely. Thanks for the peace you bring with your videos. xx
The angled candle light is very unusual, love it. And the straight one, as well. I, too, am using up wrapping things, but I have a lifetime supply, I think. Clever use of the bags. Your minimally decorated tree is so pretty. Just lovely all around. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
I've so been looking forward to this year's Christmas decorations that you made. So simple and beautiful. I'm glad you decided to get a tree; it is perfectly suited to your home and your decorations truly made it your own. I love your Scandinavian traditions. I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday. xx
Honestly Bonita is the only channel I like to watch, the content is positive and adds to my life, the music is relaxing and I watch over and over. Given the present stress we are all under I think we need to infuse our lives with positive influences. Thank you Bonita for doing just that. Hugs from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Hi Benita, I absolutely loved this video, your decorations are so gorgeous. We decorate very different too as we celebrate a summer Christmas.🌲Sending you my best wishes. ⚘
Omg Benita i love the simplicity of the white paper balls x I love the simplistic approach and hate anything over the top x greetings from Norfolk England xx
Loved these very doable ideas....especially the stack of 5 circles sewn together....I've got christmas paper card stock leftover from garland I had sewn years ago and knew some day I'd find something to do with that paper I love. Pulling my sewing machine out now. Good holiday and continued good health to you and your family🎄🟢⚪🟢⚪
Yay! More Benita paper crafts!! I have made several of the ornaments from your Christmas video last year or the year before. Now I can make the cute balls and garland! I have also made a large paper ornament by a tutorial on Claus Dalby’s Instagram that looks a lot more intricate than it really was. I made mine all white, can’t find the two sided origami paper he said he used, but it’s still pretty. Also made some of the Danish woven paper stars, and that’s where I thought I would pull my hair out, they were confusing but I managed to make some!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful, serene home and customs with us!
Watching your cosy film, accompanied with a cup of tea and a piece of Dundee cake. Can’t really ask for more on a cold, snowy Tuesday evening. Thank you for the seasonal “feel good” feeling!😊🕯🎄Enjoy the inspirational time of advent 🕯🕯🕯🕯
Lovely video Benita, I love the less is more look. I'm loving the Scandinavian style of your house, calm, uncluttered, simple yet beautiful and cozy. Your house looks so festive, enjoy your lovely tree and decorations. 🎄✌❤
Thank you Benita, I love how you have decorated your apartment. Great inspiration. This year I have decided to have no glitter or foil for my gift wrapping and go Scandinavia style with brown paper & ribbon, simple yet classy 😊👍🏻
Beautiful and ever so relaxing. For wrapping I use the wrapper from the office copier paper. You can even have the little ones stamp the wrapped gifts, but it looks great with ribbon or coloured string and one of the old fashioned tags.
Lovely video! Still in the 80's here in the desert so the vibe is much different while looking at a Saguaro Cactus. My hope is to celebrate the holidays in London, Vienna and Stockholm at least once in my life. To all of you within Benita's community, I wish good health, good fortune and good will.
Hello Benita, It’s well past Christmas 2021, but I want to add my admiration of the simple and beautiful classic decorations you created for your home in this video. As I near my 7th decade I find myself steering more and more toward this very minimalist and simple style of decor. I so admire the clean lines . It allows it to shine for its beauty all on its own. Thank you for sharing your decor ideas but also your very peaceful presentation. It made me want to sit down with you for a quiet cup of tea.☺️
You are so inspiring! If I were single I would live similar to you. I love the calm simplicity. As I struggle to pair down my family Christmas decor collected over many years, you give me courage to eliminate more. I also love Organic Basics and their quality is wonderful! Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Your decorations are so so beautiful ☺️ thank you for sharing 🙏🏼. Could you tell me the brand of your advent calendar and the cool looking candle lights you placed in your window? Thank you and I hope you have a lovely holiday season 🎄🎄
This last week I've been watching all your Christmas decorating videos repeatedly. Mainly because I can't wait to see if you got a tree! but also to make some of the DIY Christmas paper ornaments. I've been slowly making my own ornaments but in colour. We don't have the very large Star (in the window) but last year I finally found a medium sized Star & boy does it make an impact, my family love it. I'm very inspired by your Christmas videos & all the window lights you have. One day I will find them downunder. 🕯🕯🕯
Thanks for this video, Benita! I am getting more in touch with my Scandinavian heritage, and decorating more in this style. Waiting on my paper star to arrive, and have put up more natural evergreen boughs and candles. So simple and peaceful! I'm going to make your ornaments too! I just love them!
Brilliant re-use of the cotton bags into gift bags! I wish retailers would only send items ordered wrapped in compostable paper, but if I receive these in the future, I will try this idea! Lovely.
You may be a minimalist but you certainly know how to add tons of cozy to your home! 😍 It snowed here in Montréal today but only a light dusting. Wishing you a very happy and white holiday!
It's becoming a "tradition" to looking forward to seeing your Christmas decorating video this time of the year🌲🌲🌲I usually get inspiration of your paper ornaments and try to do them for my house⭐🌟Thank you Benita for all the wonderful ideas🎀I wish you all the best🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍❤️
I'm starting to really like Christmas this year and you bidet just contributed a lot to my mental peace about the feeling American decor left me. Thank you so much.
I love your crafts in this video!!! We carefully stored the paper ornaments we made last year (thanks to your video). They look perfectly new this year on our tree. They are an absolute must, tradition now. Decorations always look better in a minimal home too.
All year I make efforts to be more minimal. However at Christmas I just go CRAZY 😜 Lights on everything, red, red & more red. Decorations on every surface. It’s fun for about 3 weeks! Then it’s so amazing once I take it all down! Calm returns. I love ❤️ your style! Maybe one day I be able to fight off my inner crazy elf! Merry Christmas Benita, thank you for the gift of your videos all year long.
Thanks for sharing, Benita! I love the paper star in the window, and your new Christmas tree. It’s got that pared-back look that a real tree has... beautiful!
I just came about your channel viewing Christmas decor. I love this scandinavian style, (being Finnish descent ) the simple clean peaceful look is exactly how my Grandma decorated her small farm in the country. I still have many of her things....and although i also like minimal clutter, these I LOVE, so it fits in the life, use (for decor, and love, because I love the memory. I always find room to fit them in, or store lovingly, going to look at them occasionally when I need that reminisce. Also, Ive gone through 2 rooms using advice decluttering some stuff i know now i didnt need, use or love. Thank you,

I love the beauty in the simple... I always feel more grateful when we keep it simple... seems backwards but so so true
It really is! I feel the same way!
The older I get the simpler I want to decorate. This is perfect. Thank you so much for showing us.
Love the elegant simplicity. Inspirational.

This was so cosy to watch while having a very stormy snowstorm outside today ❄️
Glad I could offer a bit of coziness!
Loved it. So much creativity and the eye for the details. Would have loved to see how the place looks finally with all the decorations.
To be honest it doesn’t add up too that much, not a huge impact which is why I share the details.
This video fills me with cozy warm feelings! What a gift you give to so many. Wishing you snow! Love from Alaska

Thank you Benita for beautiful ideas for Christmas decorations. Where did I you buy the tilted candles light?
It’s Joy from Design House Stockholm but sadly discontinued.
