Benita, I truly appreciate the calmness that I felt tonight while watching these tips .My day was stressful and the stress melted away. Thank u for sharing your home, ideas, and the sweet little tuxedo cat. Giant fan here in Maryland, USA. ❤
11:20 When you empty the detergent pouch as much as you can, there is still enough detergent residue remaining for a load of laundry if you carefully fill the pouch halfway with water and massage it to mix. It's helpful to do this when you're over the washer with the lid open in case of a spill. My mom taught me this trick, that manufacturers create packaging that traps some of their product and you have to work to get it, because that's part of the volume by which they price.
Benita, you are the GOAT of living beautifully, simplicity! You are my inspiration. Could you do a video describing how you organize your daily time and next steps with projects? Do you use an analog planner or digital? How about with daily to-do lists? Thank you !
@@BenitaLarsson Perfect! Thank you! After watching the video, Q: how do you weave your to-do list into your day? Do you have a daily planner, bracketed by morning and evening routines?

I just ADORE your videos, thank you 💙 I love that the way you speak about space, functions, etc, this changes the way to look at objects and environments. Also, it was refreshing to "return" to your apartment after "visiting" your summer house. Autumn is coming, and there's a wish to return "inside", to get cozy at home. Thank you very much ❤️
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the timed battery candle idea! I have long used these candles for my only concession to Xmas decoration to make my home feel inviting and warm in the winter months. This idea will work well year-round in a windowless hallway instead of electric nightlights. Functional at night, more stylish by day, and not dependent on outlet placement. So many other thoughts to consider here, like the catgrass solution, giving the next-day outfit a place near the shower, and having a "crafternoon" date with a friend. Such a wonderful way to motivate yourself to sustain the most-healthy-for-you routine.
Great tip on using spent corks! I live in Northern California’s wine country and we are always at a loss what to do with corks. I’ve seen them used as a sort of decorative mulch in planting beds. It’s fun. Thanks for this new tip!
In my younger days, I made a wreath with corks. It is still hanging in my home and is put away only during the Christmas season when I want to feature one I made with Christmas balls.

You are the best at re-using and repurposing!! So many tips to keep using things that we already have. Loved the candle in the bedroom. I have a "black hole" that I will definitely us this tip to light up. I recently "installed" motion sensor battery-powered lights in the cabinet under the sink and also in a narrow cabinet where I keep trays and cutting boards. Installation: 1. Peel & stick base of light on inside of cabinet. 2. Put 3 AAA batteries in the light. 3. Attach light to base with a twist of the wrist. Now whenever I open the cabinet door, the area is lit up and I can easily see where things are, and the area under the sink isn't the uninviting black hole that it used to be.
