Dont care of the doom stories and old tales over right wing steam engines. All i know is its fricken fast, costs me jack all, and is a hoot to drive. Coilovers , 2k , new tyres 2k, and all the rubbish of handling goes away. half the price of anything near. Faultless 10k so far. Look up phantom braking and lane kill assist, its found in many of the big names. The whole eyes closed thing feels much like japanese cars in the 70s, fear of something new and using bookface as a source of truth. Either way, who cares? I just know its a rocket.

I always figured those who sooked about the handling really don't realise most 50k cars handle loke dog shit when sending it hard anyways, they nearly all require coils and stickier tyres then stock, which brand did you get your coils from?
@@reececozaa9328 im waiting , only lowering springs avail last time i looked. Meantime thinking 255s , stocks are rubbish , i hear softer front anti rolls are better.
@jestronixhanderson9898 yeah sweet! What annoys me on every review is "oh the tyres" then they say "oh it doesn't stick as well" like yeah because the tyres clearly...🤣 I reckon this car be a fun little weapon set up
@@reececozaa9328 yeh its mainly being compared all the time to cars that are 20-30k more , note sure thats fair, its no slouch and best bang per buck yet. For what 5k more than the long range you are getting , uprated brakes, a full second motor, uprated suspension, theres a lot of R&D in that and i suspect MG makes nothing or a loss on these. Its more an advertisement car. Im happy every day :)

Had multiple dealers offering the BRG XPower at £27K in the Uk at the moment.
I’ll keep saying it…even though I know I’ll upset many mg owners but please do not buy any vehicle from MG, I did and boy did I regret it.
@BuildersM8 phantom breaking , lane assist determined to kill me, 2 x broken steering rack, faulty door switches , leaks, and worse of all garage mechanics who couldn’t fix the car and constantly telling me ‘well what did you expect’ 😩
I had a new mg4 from a hire company and lasted 400 miles before it broke down.... Mg didn't want to know!!! I have 4 garages within 10 miles from me. It took 3 months to resolve and the hire company gave me a Kia EV Niro. I now have purchased a BYD dolphin and absolutely love it!!!
I own a 2023 RS5 Vorsprung coupe...I will never drive one of these POS until my authoritarian uber-woke Labour government forces me to...so, I'll get looking in about 12-18 months!

Yes it'd be a better car if mg had thought more about cornering but im always mystified when reviewers say a car has too much power, particularly if its called the Xpower. Ive heard the phrase, 'less is more', but actually I think 'more is more'. If it didn't have huge power, nobody would be talking about it.
