I never even thought of shock oil affect valving with that low of temperature. I’ll keep that in mind. We race from 100* summer days to 40* in the fall.

@ Was an inside joke. I told him that most have 4 5 600 plus pounds on the rear. A lot of that on the axle it self. Some even more. Ryan Mitchell has 800 plus.
@@fallrookmike but I be honest I know you have to have weight on the back but with someone knowing that you would think when u build a new car u would put as much effort in to putting as much possible in the back I would because I know something a lot of u don’t know it doesn’t take as much weight to hold the front down as it does to pick it up
U need really really heavy chutes for that surface going too slow to need them
With 800 pounds in the truck u made a boat anchor unless that car has 3000 hp Jon u got to do something if you have to take it to Tin Soldiers
Tin soldiers can not do anything to help.
TJ simply needs a aluminum block since he wont change to low gears 12 inch converter th400 and gear vendors
Nothing any shop can do. He has way too much front bias with that heavy BBC. Needs an aluminum block for his BBC.
@timothyfowler8278 your wrong

Car looked like a turd of hurtles going down John! 🤣
Good job bro
Holy shit, how much weight do you have in the back of that car?
Keep digging John!
Im here to read all the coments saying its too much ballast😂
You guys got it bad... tryin the stick a car to a poorly prepped track in that weather.
Might sound crazy but I wonder if somehow in the front of the rear tires you could mount brushes to clean off the tires?
😮😮
heat your shocks that oil is like pudding if it got to 19 degrees the night before

Super smart insight...
Never thought of shock oil (suspension fluid lol)
Do you put any weight on the rear end housing? If you do how do you figure how much?
I love the channel.please keep making the videos.
Let's go jon.
Everybody puts a lot of weight in the trunk or behind the rear axle. why do you think they tote the front end so easy

That second round pass couldn’t have been any more perfect John ! I hate I couldn’t make it to help!
800 lbs. ?? Really? WTH is going on here?? Build a car for minimum weight, then add 800 lbs. ??
You can not use a Big M iron block sucessfully on these type of lame surfaces without adding weight.
