“Look for the religious woman. Even if she was from the common folk, that is better than an educated woman who mixes with the opposite gender. By Allah the women from the common folk are better and more clever than the educated ones these days. It is not a must for you to marry an educated woman, upon you is to find a righteous and fearful woman. And if she is educated as well as righteous then thats’s goodness upon goodness, otherwise just marry an ignorant woman who is upon the Fitrah (natural disposition) where you can teach her and she accepts knowledge from you. When the prophet PBUH described the best women he described how they are kind to their families.

It is should be more accurately said that it is the fault of the Muslim fathers for raising families in the West (and other non-Muslim societies), in the first place.
In the West, women are taught "don't trust men." "Men will abuse and use women." "Women need to be bosses."
In the West, if you try to stop your women from unislamic behaviour, the law will say to the man "who are you to tell these women what to do?"
If your family was not blessed to be isolated from mainstream non-Muslim society from the very start, often it's too late... The social media, music, films, shows... Teach women what life is all about...
Very few Muslim families properly isolate themselves from the fitna of non-Muslim society.
Conclusion: Raising a child in the West, is like laying bear traps around the home, and allowing your toddler to roam the house. If you don't chase after your toddler, he will become mangled in one of the traps.
May Allah ta'ala help us establish the deen in our homes and in ourselves.
      Ameen.

@@sonny7159 West is rotten. That's for sure. But it's not just west. Even in the Muslim countries it's impossible to isolate your family from the mainstream indoctrination. Beside media and school curriculum, fathers play a big role. They raise their daughters as some kind of princess. Fathers grow up these narcissistic daughters by saying that they want their daughters to be doctor, pilot, PhD and so on. But there are not so many PhDs among men. These girls will never marry below their level and will likely end up being a cat lady. Miserable life with high ego!

Jazakallah khair for being so outspoken against this nonsense. The problem with feminism is really deep-rooted and affecting the brothers as well. In my personal experience, the brothers want to marry sisters who conform to the modern-day ideal woman who is working, paying the bills, mixing with men, and other useless requirements. I pray that I, and people in my situation, can find someone soon as it's a fitnah being alone as much as it is to be with the wrong person.

@@aqilaahmed @Anisa S I don't know what you are talking about. I am literally surounded by women who want to work, don't pay any bill, want the man to protect them, don't want to take care of the house etc.. so marry a traditional man while being a 'modern' woman. Also full of contradictions: of course for the man who simp they disappear. And for the man who act manly, they disappear too for the reasons I mentioned. They also have expectations far over the roof: handsome, tall, good shape, having a wealthy job as doctor engineer or similar, be as pious as a sheikh, and lot of other criterias as ethnicity, interests etc. Of course the extend depends on the woman in particular. This is the young generation, plenty of wrong ego (proud), sometimes helped by the parents (especially fathers). And I know plenty of muslim men who are looking for a traditionnal women, I literally don't know a single practising muslim looking for a 'modern' woman.
For older 30+ women, from the ones who are not married from what they say they are submissive and understand that a woman also need to be traditionnal. But this is 'on the paper', this is a saying. Yes most of them are happy not to work, after 10-15 years of work everybody would understand that this is far from heaven and the idea we have been sold. And they are happy with staying at home and raising children, that is logical given that they will soon not be able to make children anymore. But except that, still plenty of ego, still headaches, not submissive, not pleasant to be around. Being traditional and submissive is not simply accept female nature and only the pros of it, but also be pleasant to be around and follow the leadership of the husband, be humble etc. You are the chooser of the specie, if you don't find it may mean that you need to lower your expectations.
Stop blaming men like "you need to do more, I am 30 and alone", look at yourself first, what could you do to improve your situation ? I gave some keys above. A man is simply looking for: someone taking care of herself (including physically but not only, and it does not mean being a top model at all..), pleasant to be around (no headaches etc), young is better (but no necessary, you can find anyway), respectful, submissive and obviously practising. Modern marriages are a huge risk for men: most divorces are initiated by women and we have a lot to loose in this case. If you precise that you only want a religious marriage and not a civil one, it will help too. Then women choose, so choose rightly.
I am not saying that all women are like that and that you are this way (I don't even know you), I am saying that the large majority behaves in this way. And of course there are muslim men who are part of the issue.
I have found no suitable muslim women in the UK. But no, I am not a man spitting his hate of women, I like true women, insha Allah I am marrying soon a real woman from Pakistan, I am not the most "handsome and tall" but I am not the worst either just normal, strong and indepandant lol, I have a good job, in good shape, practising and going to the mosque regularly. Maybe a better-paid job than the average but except that I am actually like most muslim men I know.
I am just frustated of the current situation, to what our community is going through, and to what I have myself been through.
You seem genuine in your research, may Allah swt help you and guide you.

Don't call him Imam, if you study the history of islam you'd realize that this word was not used so loosely like today, an Imam in islam is a learned person that is "leading the Muslims" and being a role model to them and a source of spiritual comfort and guidance, when you throw this word to random men who can be so corrupt, you are literally making them equal to the great imams of islam, for example when you say Imam Omar Sulaiman and Imam zaid ..etc, and you say Imam Ahmad ibn hanbal or Imam malik ibn anas, don't you feel that you are devaluating those great men by giving their well deserved titles to people just because they wear a aba'ah or pray in the mosque or teach in an Islamic school !! If they call themselves that, we should stop it, they are not imams and they won't be, until they repent and return to the path of guidance, and even then, just because you are a good daa'i does not make you an imam.

99% of the time it will be everything *except* the 'Prophetic Model' and more about breaking established Islamic traditional norms because revolutionising Islam is what it's all about today. 'Slay sis' kind of Imams.

It's not even a Muslim thing, it's a human thing. Strength, independence, assertiveness are masculine traits, any women exhibiting any masculine trait immediately becomes unattractive to strong, independent and assertive men. Such women end up with two choices, settle for a weaker man or buy a dog and die alone. Jazkallah khair.

My main teacher حفظه الله, is not going to be known by most, he never sought fame, although he could have easily obtained it, a man when you were in his presence, it was as if you felt closer to Allah تعالى. I remember many pieces of advice from him, but one that really hit home, was: "Beware of celebrity Imams and Mashaayikh". Wow these videos always come at the right time. I just wish my family could understand this. I watched people I know slowly become “liberal Muslims” because of the fitna at uni. Laughing and supporting lgbtq celebrities etc. My community (Somali) are really big on the independent woman trope, even the elders! They actually seek out educated women for their sons to marry. My family are scared nobody will marry me because I want to leave university and preserve my deen 😭. No matter how much I explain, they think that you can just ignore the fitna and move on. They think I’m over exaggerating. Sometimes these comments get to me but these videos always help me against the gaslighting. Thank you very much. May Allah protect you brother. Ameen.

    • @CiroNero

Most of these "liberal muslims" don't actually know their deen well enough or knew it but succumbed to their desires or external influences. They also are of those who take Islam solely as a culture and not a religion in whole.
Go get your education sister, it is still important for time on this dunya but at the same time work on understanding the deen. Stay away from liberal ideologies, those are for dunya only and are actually destructive to yourself and families (as per the example you've given).
Put your head down and keep working. Allah swt plans for all of us, if you're going to get married then you will get married to someone who is right and been planned for you. I have friends who got married after getting their degrees and worked in respective industries, and they were at that time past the age of 25 and a few of them weren't religious then but became so after marriage and being guided.
Allah swt makes things that we thought are impossible, possible.

      @anisahs2110 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

At least you have a grasp on the fitna and the deception of it. If your parents are still hell bent on sending you to university then better to choose a major that allows you a flexible career where you are able to work at home or part-time so you wouldn't be trap in the corporation 24/7 career scheme and devout most of your time to your family. Some degrees require you to take a long time to finish like medicine, engineering or law so choose a relatively fast one to complete. Avoid universities that require you to live alone in the dorms as that can make you more vulnerable.
Also choose your friends wisely because they can really influence your actions and mindset so find righteous Muslim friends if possible. There was a time where I had to leave my group of friends because they were really affecting my deen and I finished my degree alone but it was worth it as I know my true friends are. Stay away from unnecessary free-mixing as well.
You might find a potential partner so let him know early on that you plan to not work after marriage, that way you can find suitors who share the same vision as you. Of course make sure to look at the other criteria as well, religiosity, financial standing etc.
      May Allah preserve you sister.

Islam dictates that muslim women must be taken care of by their Husbands,Fathers,Grandfathers,Brothers and Sons etc. Your argument that muslim women not have career hinges on the assumption that muslim men act according to what Islam dictates,as they will fulfill their Islamic obligation of taking care of the women living under them. In reality, most of the muslims don't even pray five times a day. What makes you think that they would give a damn about fulfilling their Islamic obligation towards women? In muslim countries, divorced and widowed women have to live and suffer a horrible life. They are treated like trash, tossed around in the society. We watch numerous of such cases transpiring around us in the society on a daily basis. We learn from real life examples. What Islam ideally teaches us makes no different if the majority of it's followers do not act accordingly when needed. I live in Bangladesh, majority of the muslims here never pay their Mahr. Brothers never give away the fair share of inheritance to their sisters. Here you are talking about "how women are taken care of in Islam" "women don't have to do this and that." You are completely oblivious to the condition of the muslim world.

brothers and sisters, as far as I know, nobody else other than daniel talks about these issues explicitly and publicly. Daniel has bought the hatred of many liberal and feminist Muslims by criticising these famous liberal imams in the USA. all of us should support him and his valuable work.
we all know that non-Muslims are on the wrong path. like Christians, Jews, Hindus etc. so their sayings and actions are not a real threat to our iman and they are not affecting us. but these liberal and feminist imams can be very very dangerous to the Muslim ummah. because people look at them as religious authorities and they trust them. so this is very very important that we have God-fearing and true Muslims as our imams.
I really agree with Daniel. we should focus on this issue. they are spreading all these feminist and liberal ideologies in our ummah. I wish we had more brave people like Daniel.

Men are encouraged to choose career women specially doctors and engineers (even though they might not pursue the career) There are more women in profession then Men and Men are looking for businesses and going abroad as they cannot support families in this system. And all of this has been indoctrinated quiet subtle. Men have been indoctrinated to become simps no longer taking charge of the family as the women folk and I mean full time home mom are also influenced by this feminism movement and all decision made by men are questioned in front of kids making kids loose their respect. For them the only way to success is to wear like westerners and act like westerners (even though West is in decline for last 30 years).
Ans you can't just blame women for this, out men have no ghairah/ghairet at all and are becoming more like Indians day by day, they don't want to hold the honour of their families and Islam and are more focused on skirt chasing.
