I don’t think anyone noticed, but after Kratos says “come” once redacting the top, he reaches out to hold Atreus. Though Atreus skips ahead and Kratos still has his arm out reaching.
This scene was just glorious in so many ways. It was a throwback to his home town and the bond he was sharing with son, with it, is just astounding. Can't wait for the rest of the series to come.
Although I am Greek I have never been lucky enough to try it, although I doubt it can smell like that, most likely it smells like get just because it got old, but if I find it I will keep you in mind

This scene really got to me because it reminded me of a moment almost just like this that my father had with me.
