This is phenomenal...thanks for having the courage to post even during these times. This controversy has nearly pushed me out of the hobby all together, yet videos like this remind me of my love for the lore. Warhammer is great at showing the true depths of the human spirit, both good, bad, and grey. The kriegs always have a special place in my heart as they are not unintelligent suicidal maniacs, but duty bound steadfast guardian's of the Imperium that know the risks they take and even if they fall keep going, until the end.
Can you say what that thing is at the end? I'm only vaguely/barely familiar with the lore, so I see an Imperium of Man solder running at some weird alien thing.
The thing I love here is this first man, who gets up and runs with everything he's got...he's not a captain, or a sergeant. He's a nobody. Pvt. Schmuckatelli. He's just the one simple soldier, who doesn't even know if the men around him are even alive, and he runs at this giant thing like he's gonna rip out its heart with his bare hands if he has to.
This is genuinely incredible. I'm sure a lot of people already said that but I deeply mean it. It differs from other animations focused on combat and explosions, here there's a more artistic feel to it. I beg you go keep making more like this, GW be damned.

The unbreakable will to fight is why I love the deathkorps, no matter the odds, horrible man eating monsters, demons from nightmares, or demigods treading the battlefields, the deathkorps are always ready to fight for an Imperium that cares not for him. True courage is being scared to death, but still fulfilling one's duty.

You can see that first Kriegsman drag himself to his feet, square his shoulders, and you can almost hear him think, "Right. Duty. I'mma brain that sonofabitch, or paint him in my blood." Then, his brothers see this badass running Hell for leather at the enemy, alone and unarmed. They're all thinking, "Every step he's ahead of me is a mark of shame before my Duty. " But it all starts with that one trooper standing up, seeing the enemy isn't slaughtered yet, and thinking, "Right."
Man was waiting for this ever since you posted that marching video a long time ago. You delivered well man. Movements were choppy at times, but the overall cinematography and feel of the piece is very, VERY good. Great job!
At the beginning I thought this was going to be about a kriegsman who failed to do the Ultimate sacrifice and he wasn't going to be the only one to be left behind.
I swear on the God Emperor of Mankind... This video gives me chills every time I watch it, it's a hidden beauty. I hope that the Emperor graces it with the recognition that it deserves as both an incredible piece of artwork, and a hommage to the most resilient and unstoppable force in all the Imperium.

My own mental headcanon has the following being the story: The previous night’s attack was a total disaster, seemingly the entire first wave that went over the top was killed. But come morning the sentries see one man stand from the carnage in no man’s land, and they watch him charge forward with only his bare hands. Ther Kriegers hear what’s going on, they gather at the trenches, hundreds then thousands, as they watch another and then another and another of the first rising from the mud and continue forward. Almost as one and without orders the entire cancelled second wave charges from the trenches. The thundering of boots drowning out the treads tanks. The demon before them turns around, and feels fear.

Very well done. The artistry to it make this something special compared to most other 40k fan works. If other fan animations are like Saving Private Ryan and We Were Soldiers with all the action and explosions, then this felt like Apocalypse Now or Platoon.

This reminds me a lot of the sacrifice the soldiers did in the movie war of the worlds. They sacrificed themselves to save people. Krieg men try to absolve themselves before the emperor and can only hope that their sacrifice will give humanity a future!!
It kinda gave me a war of the worlds feeling when the soldiers fight a losing battle on the hill to protect the civillians. They know they will probably lose but they give it their all. For humanity and the god emperor.
I like how they're all missing guns. Shows how desperate they are when Krieg can't supply them. Either the Quartermasters are dead, or they're Necrons, or these are survivors to some new form of weaponry who have all been robbed blind by said Quartermasters who didn't have enough time to take their masks as well.

At the beginning I thought this was going to be about a kriegsman who failed to do the Ultimate sacrifice and he wasn't going to be the only one to be left behind.
I swear on the God Emperor of Mankind... This video gives me chills every time I watch it, it's a hidden beauty. I hope that the Emperor graces it with the recognition that it deserves as both an incredible piece of artwork, and a hommage to the most resilient and unstoppable force in all the Imperium.

My own mental headcanon has the following being the story:
The previous night’s attack was a total disaster, seemingly the entire first wave that went over the top was killed. But come morning the sentries see one man stand from the carnage in no man’s land, and they watch him charge forward with only his bare hands. Ther Kriegers hear what’s going on, they gather at the trenches, hundreds then thousands, as they watch another and then another and another of the first rising from the mud and continue forward. Almost as one and without orders the entire cancelled second wave charges from the trenches. The thundering of boots drowning out the treads tanks. The demon before them turns around, and feels fear.

Having Kriegsmen IRL would be one of the most swag things ever, but being a Kriegsman IRL would be one of the worst things ever.
I don't understand how this video has so little views. It's amazing, and you deserve recognition for your talent.

Very well done. The artistry to it make this something special compared to most other 40k fan works. If other fan animations are like Saving Private Ryan and We Were Soldiers with all the action and explosions, then this felt like Apocalypse Now or Platoon.
To each of us falls a task. And all the Emperor requires of us Guardsmen is that we hold our lines and die Fighting.
That is what we do best. We die, Standing.
Still find these guys the most terrifying and awesome army in 40k. Their the John Wick of 40k. Nothing to loose, trained as children and unafraid of death.
They didn't run to meet up with others. They charged to die with brothers.
Here at the end of all things, this finally found its way to my suggestions. And it was good.
I got some Death Stranding vibes, thats a nice change of pace from the usual Death Korps tropes in animation. Well done!

This reminds me a lot of the sacrifice the soldiers did in the movie war of the worlds. They sacrificed themselves to save people. Krieg men try to absolve themselves before the emperor and can only hope that their sacrifice will give humanity a future!!

It kinda gave me a war of the worlds feeling when the soldiers fight a losing battle on the hill to protect the civillians. They know they will probably lose but they give it their all. For humanity and the god emperor.

I like how they're all missing guns. Shows how desperate they are when Krieg can't supply them. Either the Quartermasters are dead, or they're Necrons, or these are survivors to some new form of weaponry who have all been robbed blind by said Quartermasters who didn't have enough time to take their masks as well.
