I just finished doing my first decal. Same one you are doing, same company...yours. The video links did not work so I watched a video that was done without spraying so, just added the watering step. Worked great. One little flip up piece and one crease, thanks to the snail mail. Box was crushed several times.. All in all, it looks great. Thanks for your video. This is a really cool video. One thing I'll add is to avoid mixing Soap and Water and instead buy a bottle of Rapid Tac Application fluid. (yes Rapid Tac Inc. is my families company - full disclosure) For 30 years I've installed decals, and helped other people install decals with our products and it's a MUCH better solution that will save you time, get better results AND... Rapid Tac Application Fluids actually promote a better bond than "home brew" soap and water solutions, and even better bond than dry applications. Lockheed Martin and the USAF verified this in recent extensive testing of our products.
If your fender flare is textured, its not gonna stick, if it painted, it will. Prep the surfaces, lay it out before hand so its positioned where you want it. Then follow the steps outlined above.
