Gel Printing with Watercolour. Full Process

Hello Friends
The fun continues with my Gell Press Gel Plate and dry watercolour. I showed you these ColourCraft Crystal powders in last week's vlog where I sprinkled the powder over the gel plate to see what they might do. This week I experimented with the watercolour mixed with matte medium on the Gel Plate. Gel Plate printing is so easy and versatile. Printing with a Gelli plate is not only for making collage papers but can be used to create lovely one-off monoprints. Watch until the end to see the final monoprints I created with a Gelli Plate, watercolor, and acrylic paint.

ps. These dry watercolor crystals are different from pan pastels or traditional dry pigments. Some of the colours in these watercolor powdered pigments are not lightfast so it is recommended to use a final coat of UV spray.
