Congrats! I like to use zinc white because it means I can use less of the expensive pigment that I’m trying to tint- but I usually use a mix of both zinc and titanium, depending on if I care about transparency and opaqueness.

Hi there! I've been watching so many videos on DIY making of gelli plate, but yours seems to be more so to say effective! Just one question: in absence if gelatine powder, can i use agar-agar straws grounded to a fine powder using your method? How thick do they need to be as a minimum? Thanking you for a prompr reply!

I think you are supposed to put a hole in the lid and that way you shake only a little out? I have seen others d9 this anyway and I know I’m a butterfingers so when I find my pigments, ‘cause I know I have some out in that sty of a craft room, I will try it out! Lovely to see you, Selina❤ I’ve had the Colour Scheme one in my cart for yonks and finally pressed to buy button after this 😁 I have had the Spectrum one in my for ages too but I have a lot of books from The Victoria & Albert Museum about fashion and textiles featuring some of the fabrics shown in that book so I just should look in those and not be so lazy 😂 I love how the have the ratios and think I would find that incredibly helpful.

❤❤❤ So sorry, Selina! You never really get used to losing your mother -- at least I haven't, and she died years ago. Now my best friend is dying of cancer. Of course, I'm focussing on her for the moment, but I think when she's gone it'll be my biggest loss ever. Just let your feelings and abilities be what they are as you go on. I know TH-cam will probably penalize you, but we, your YT friends, won't. Big hugs!
