I have two timers on my watch that I use to help keep me grounded daily. One goes off every 20mins. When it does i perform the Wim Hof 30 breath exercise (sometimes the 4/7/8 method too). The other is set to go off every hour. When it does, I audibly state several “I am” type manifestations (i.e I’m happy, I’m healthy, I’m loving, I’m confident, etc). Sometimes I’ll have one for every 5mins to bring me back to the present moment. Get creative.
ever since my Kundalini awakening I'm always in phase 3... I see those colors and flashes of light anytime I close my eyes and sometimes I see it with my eyes open
Finally someone who talks about this, seeing colors even with opened eyes! I keep looking for an explanation for this, but cannot find anything. I haven't had a complete kundalini awakening though. Tons of videos talk about seeing colors during meditation, but nothing about seeing them with opened eyes. Have you found any explanation for that?
This is very very helpful!! I suffer from overthinking and cant seem to stop my thoughts from running fast from the second I wake up,sometimes its so bad I can hear my thoughts while dreaming 😮, but definitely going to try these tips thanks
Thank you so much for this, Ben. Initially I would fly through star systems, worm holes? And I’d also fly over green rolling hills and see short vignettes of a short movie playing and I’d see my relatives who’d transitioned. For about a year now I’m mostly in the void - no stars or colours but I do see faces of people I know and love. Good to know i haven’t regressed. Thank you. 🙏🏼❤️🤗
Listen to any type of meditation music and try to focus your mind on that particular type of music everytime you meditate for few days then whenever you meditate that will automatically play in your head and helps you focus
Make your ego sit in the corner and shut up😂 Every now and then, my ego gets overly excited to have the floor. This is what I do: take some practice, but it works.❤
Your teachings really resonate and I find many things you teach I was already instinctively implementing. One thing I struggle is to manage my mind throughout the night, I am able to fall asleep quite fast (in the past I would take forever), however I find myself thinking and I guess even during sleep I feel like my mind is still in working mode if I'm working on something new or important... I do use mantra and sort of meditation to fall back to sleep, but not always a quick thing... is so much harder when you are tired than during the day. Any tips on that? you could make a video?
Thank you Ben! I needed to hear this today. How do you do that? 😊 Looking forward to incorporating these ideas to help my meditation progress. Have a good weekend!
Hy Ben your videos are great, I meditate constantly for 30 minutes every morning, and honestly I can't focus my attention on the present moment, I have 1 million thoughts, I specify that during meditation I listen to meditative music! do you have any advice for me? thank you very much
Hey ben, i am a music producer and started meditating a couple months ago. Can meditation decrease my creativity? I always found that having a busy mind is bad for my anxiety but good for my creativity as i have a lot of ideas floating around in my head. I fear that meditating can decrease these ideas. 🤞🏼
How do you repeat a mantra or name or God (Naam Jaap) when you are engaged in a IT job where you have to engage in reading or processing new information on the computer screen and have to talk to people on slack?
Speaking for myself, yes. Just a little coffee would boost my focus but a little more and I couldn't settle down. After 45 years of drinking coffee I had to quit because it gave me raging heartburn. Now I'm more even keel, no ups and downs and I prefer it this way. I wish you well!
Hi Ben, please do respond- when you say chanting Divine name..is it part of your daily practice or do you do it during the meditation itself? I am a beginner and as part of meditation I chant the divine name..
You can do this during both, either during daily life and/or during meditation. It’s best if you can do it in your mind as apposed to saying it out loud
I also suffer from tinnitus. What helps me is to avoid loud noises, I know it sounds obvious but for example, I noticed when I drive with the windows down it increases my tinnitus... I also use earplugs if I know I'm gonna be in loud places (even the supermarket can be intense). Getting lots of sleep, sleeping with a fan/heater on for white noise, and the same thing goes for when im meditating. I've already noticed a significant drop in the tinnitus since meditating daily and I hope meditation cures it completely some day! Hope this helps, hang in there!
I have ADHD and (likely) mild OCD and a VERY busy mind all the time and I have had deep, expansive experiences while meditating. Doesn’t happen every time and it’s been a while since I started tapering off psych med (makes your mind much busier!) but it has happened! Keep practicing it and if your thoughts pick back up, notice them without attaching to them and keep going back in. The experiences may be brief and then the thoughts come back but you can totally go places!
I find I can loosen up across all my body but in my eyes, I feel a tension that is so hard to remove. I can feel my self slipping into the void but that tension will always occur and pull me back. Any suggestions?
Me too! I cannot relax my eyes for more than a few seconds at best. Then I'm solely focusing on my eyes. I tend to think okay, I tried, and move forward the best I can.
@katemorgan3775 I have managed to deal with it more or less, it can go either way tbh. I found focusing on any tension whatsoever and then kind of letting that tension have its way rather than having a desire to loosen it will actually momentarily reduce eye tension. It will be only for a moment at first but eventually it has become easier to do and lasts longer. Hope that can help!
Ben, good subject for a video. I am a bit puzzled by what you mean by having your mind on the Divine. I don't think you mean thinking about theological topics or God or reading the Bible all the time. Without a context or explanation the terms "God" or the "Divine" are rather vague. Perhaps you mean looking at things from more of an benevolent, third person objective point of view (as I would assume god's perspective is) and wishing good will toward everyone? Perhaps you could also give a few examples of mantras. It seems kind of odd to me repeat mantras in Sanskrit to me. I can speak two languages but Sanskrit is not one of them. I use the two English words "focus now" as a mantra since it is meaningful to me. Would it make a difference if I switched to a Sanskrit phrase? Thanks for you videos! Keep up the good work.
From my perspective, the mantra and your attention towards the Divine/God go hand in hand. As you repeat the mantra you are seeking to understand the nature of the Divine/God - as you understand Divine/God. So, all the things you mentioned in the 4th sentence you wrote are things you would contemplate as you repeat the mantra. In terms of the language of the mantra, as Ben said, certain words or phrases contain vibrational energies. If you were to use a Sanskrit phrase, you would want to learn its meaning and as you repeat the mantra, seek to correlate the phrase to its meaning. In other words, when you say the word table or chair, your mind automatically imagines/visualizes a table or chair. That is what you would seek to do with the mantra, focusing on its meaning as you repeat it, while contemplating the true nature of the Divine as you understand it. Hope this helps!
I use 'So Hum', was an easy sanskrit I found when looking it up and means 'I am'. I remember seeing a video where Ben explained quite well what he meant by having the mind on the divine, not sure which one it was now... what resonates to me is thanking the Source throughout the day and holding that feeling for a while, then the mantra too.
I don’t currently do 1-1s anymore unfortunately, but through my school you can join small group calls (maximum 4 students) once per month, alongside all the other weekly live classes etc
Seemed impossible, but it’s been over 2 years and I don’t crave a drop of alcohol, the key difference was that I didn’t suffer withdrawal, not even within the first 30 days, just happened after go’ogling Steffon Barkloads Quit Drinking Forever and genuinely quitting because I was a mess.

The exact same things happened to me after mine❤️🙏
How about your vibrational frequency ? Do you feel your energy is in high frequency all the time ?

Brilliant Ben , white board is definitely an evolution of your content 😊. Again, fantastic information, thank you 🙏.
Thanks so much 🙏
Staying in a meditative state!

1Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances.
Hello Janicemcada, where are you commenting from?

I loved the analogy of the snow globe! Great job!
Writing down the to do items helps keep them off your mind since you don't have worry about forgetting something.
Fantastic explanation and blueprint for meditation!
Great job Ben 👍
Meditation is harrrrdd

Thank you. 🙏🏼❤️🤗
Love your teachings Ben.🙏🏻 Very clear explanation.🌹
Thanks you 😄🙏
All this is great, thank you. Any idea on HOW TO STOP A SONG that loops in your mind all night long, and each time you begin meditating?
Listen to any type of meditation music and try to focus your mind on that particular type of music everytime you meditate for few days then whenever you meditate that will automatically play in your head and helps you focus
Thank you Ben… great video! The whiteboard illustrations are very helpful to me. I will consider joining your school. All the best to you
Thank you so much! You're a great teacher and it's lovely and interesting to listen to you. Wish you love and light 😀🙏😇🧡
ok so i shouldnt replay things in my head that i might regret because it clutters the mind...just let it go and look to the future...awesome.
Make your ego sit in the corner and shut up😂 Every now and then, my ego gets overly excited to have the floor. This is what I do: take some practice, but it works.❤
Thank you, a very helpful video ✨
Thank you Ben 😊. I know I need to go on a media diet. I will try to do that. Caffeine can also influence the mind.
Have been doing this for awhile and im stuck in phase 1 and 2. Id love to progress
Thank you for not using the chalk board 😊 Love your teachings ❤

i have aphentasia(where you cant visualize things), so do you know how i will experience stage 3?
I spawn at random location in my meditations. Phase 1 or phase 3 or phase 5. I just jump around😂

Meditation increases my creativity, ideas just show up when I'm not even thinking about that subject.
Should I be timing myself on a watch while?I meditate or try to make my meditations longer?

Thank you, Ben. Does caffeine have an effect on the progression of meditation?
Caffiene makes the mind more restless. It's not conducive to meditation.

100 mgs of zinc a day helped me a lot
❤
I'm looking for how to activate kundalini on this channel
Kundalini will happen when you're ready. It's not to be forced
Any success for or with anyone who has or may have ADHD? Is it hopeless or just the thing to help?

What style/tradition of meditation do you practice?
I’d like to ask what meditations does everyone listen to, I’ve been doing dr joe dispenza meditations for years I need a change 😏
Quiet. Silence. Breathe deeply, focusing on your breath. You are your best guide
can I book 1:1 with you?
I don’t currently do 1-1s anymore unfortunately, but through my school you can join small group calls (maximum 4 students) once per month, alongside all the other weekly live classes etc

I feel like I’ve been stuck in phase 4 for a long time 😢 I’ve been meditating for 5 years
You aren't stuck anywhere, you're on the path as you should be
