God has given us all we need already INSIDE US. We don't need to look outside us to find the light and love. It's inside our heart. The kingdom of heaven is WITHIN. Sit quietly and meditate . LISTEN for that small still voice that will lead you, teach you and show you the way to enlightment of pure joy and peace. We have been duped and lied to for centuries. The darkness. Doesn't want us to find the light within . That's why they continue to make us believe everything is on the outside of us and materialistic. We are so powerful, everything has been already given .we just need to remember we have it , believe it and know we can create ANYTHING we want. Keep love in your heart and you cannot go wrong. The dualistic 3d world will keep you divided and fighting w one another to keep you from finding your true strengths and essence of a higher self. You can become enlightened by remaining in the light . Through love , and gratitude, and service to others. This raises your vibration lifting you higher so the evil darkness cannot touch you. You can ascend higher the longer you remain w love in your heart. We are all energy. Energy goes where your attention flows. What you put out in The universe is what comes back to you. Yes; when we realize we are consciousness, we find out that it's pure, incomprehensible, magnificent LOVE. It's the ONLY thing that fills up that hole in our gut where the wind rushes through. THAT'S what we've been missing all this time. Kinda like snow white; we were asleep. We do remember where we came from. I call it GOD.
@@bobleclair5665 I don't want to be disrespectful but that is just word salad. I have been through hell in my life, all these things are useless to me. If I want to feel better I do something tangible like eat, sleep, buy something or give something to somebody, help somebody etc. My life cannot be better with word salad. I was once interested in these "spiritual" things, but they are unfortunately just dead ends and disappointments. The brain is an incredible device that can simulate many things.

@@alf6245 There's an accompanying separate workbook that I believe was written some time later. The ACIM book is very large and there's a couple of different versions. It's a wonderful book.

I believe it's in 2 volumes, yes, the story & the workbook ,which is not like workbooks of today-- full of blank pages-- but rather daily practices that might seem small or meaningless, but all have a purpose to 'train' you to work around , or set aside, your mind. Kind of zen, or Tao Te Ching-ish, but not. You'll see. Plus there's at least one YT channel of old-timers talking thru the lessons. Good luck!
A Course in Miracles changed my life. I feel it helped me realize my full potential. O left my job and went into a completely different profession. I've felt guided ever since following the lessons in the text. It was a deeply moving and illuminating experience.

There may be another point that Mrs Kovacz did not mention: psychotherapy. It took decades, but we now have tools who are tremendously powerful at helping people reconnecting with themselves and other ones which are also tremendously powerful at helping people healing from their traumas.
When a person heals, it becomes much easier for her to experience her own connection with "beyond her".

This woman has now blown my mind and heart open twice from your films. So many tears for what we lost. Gratitude for Betty sharing this deep knowledge so clearly and brightly. I was raised Jewish. But felt the “maleness” so pervasively, after I was a bat mitzvah, I pulled away. The ritual and language about the Divine seemed stale and incomplete. Now I know: I am Jewish, but a First Temple Jew! Like Jeshua himself. And the Essenes. Where Yahweh and Wisdom together make up Divinity. Wow oh wow.... Betty when you talked about your experience of that light. 5 yrs ago I had the most powerful experience of pure love from source. I had during a healing I saw the most beautiful being of Gold that held before me, I felt that Gold being step Into my energy field and into my heart. The sheer intensity of pure love almost split my heart in two. I cried and cried with joy as my heart filled with so much love. It's like a love and energy you just can't describe. Then the energy poured into my being it was so strong it was painful. Then my third eye opened and I saw a circle of beings of light. Then the singing started... Just pure pure heaven , when the singing started my soul exploded, it was just pure heaven before me. I cried with pure joy and it was just pure grace before me.
Later on I had similar experiences but not as intense as the energy settled. But just recently, after dealing with huge amounts of shadow self my soul had broken due to loss. And when I had reached rock bottom, I felt my entire being full with Grace. It was pure blue and white light, but the feeling was just Grace... Just bliss. I swear it was the holy grace of the feminine washing peace into my heart. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thankyou sooooo much for this. It's reminded me I'm not crazy lol xxxx

I had a wonderful mystical awakening 4+ years ago and it changed my life in the most positive way that I couldn't contain it, I was telling as many people as I could. Wrote so many wonderful bits of knowledge and wisdom that came to me. Unfortunately that wasn't the best thing to do , especially to the working world that I am in. Those people did there best to beat me down mentally to the point of wanting to kill myself.
That was 2 years ago and I am now getting back to it we're I was in wholeness after being silenced.

Your story resonated with me on many levels. I had a spiritual awakening last year and was very excited by this new profound shift that I wanted to share . However, I SLOWLY learned and still learning not to share to certain people, this includes my family from which I’ve been excluded from as woo woo. I wasn’t heard instead I often witnessed eye rolling.
I have started on this new path and will finish on this new path with the help of compassion and gratitude that my circumstances got me to now.

Part of learning these wonderful truths is also gaining the dissearnment of who to talk to and who not to about these things, at least until the time is right.
Even people who had NDE's (10-20 years ago), if they told other people about their experience they would end up in psych wards, so most people kept their experiences secret (till recently).
You can understand that by the life of Christ Jesus as well.
Stay blessed and know the day will come when we can discuss openly these wonderful things!

Beautiful chronology. I never bought the false myths around sin and forbidden fruit, always thought the absence of feminine God heads in the world religions was suspect. I'm thankful that my dad's interest in the mystic exposed me to the degree that I did a book report on someone's near death experience in middle school. I've come back around to those near death testimonials and am experiencing a lot of intellectual and experiential integration. As difficult as the systems disintegration is going to be, it is everything I've been preparing for on my spiritual journey and I feel blessed to be here at this time.

These indigenous people of Namibia that she speaks of,…like, she says that their culture is nearly destroyed. Why does this tragedy have to happen to these people who have this amazing ability to reach the cosmic consciousness? It just seems like they should be rewarded with thriving instead of being annihilated 😢 it is such a waste.😢 Why do these things have to happen?

As a child growing up in the 50s, a television programme I loved was a documentary series by Lawrence Van der Post about the Bushmen of the Kalahari, and I have always felt an affinity towards them, and total respect for them all my life. I need to get the book mentioned here about their shamanistic practices, some of which were shown on the series. Excellent podcast.
