I read Hermes Trismegistus when I was about 13-14 and that got me on the spiritual path of learning about the laws of the universe. I read and reread them over and over until I understood and applied them as best I could for decades. Lost the book during the move to another city. The navy blue hardcover is the original Yogi Publication Society edition, that is the same one I read over 20 years ago. Barnes and Noble usually carries the Centenary edition, it's rather nice and has an additional introduction by Ritchard Smoley. These principles only show to be truer as our scientific understanding grows, as said the ALL is Mind
I remember being a very little kid at my first sight of a diagram of a molecule and recognizing that it looked just like the solar system. I kept asking grown ups to notice some significance to that as they brushed me off. My whole childhood was spent noticing patterns and thinking these grown ups are missing something very obvious!

Careful, the very book Kybalion that they're talking about mentions that it's a false statement to say that "we are god" "we are all one". It's simply untrue. We are all within God, we stem from God. We are beings in the mind of God. That doesn't make us God. And "we are all one" sounds nice. But is your pinky the same as your thumb? No, but they are both part of your hand. Is a wave on one side of the world the same as a wave somewhere else? No, but they are both the Ocean. You might think that these small details don't matter but they do. I am the Thrice Great Grandmother. There are so many beautiful teachers on this planet right now, and they are all following their own Truth. There is absolute Truth and there is Relative Truth. During the 1960s, the Yogi Publication Society published this book along with all the works of Swami Vivekananda. These books were quite popular during my high school years. My close friends and myself all owned and cherished each volume. The reason why the Kybalion was published by the Yogi Publication Society is because Swami Vivekananda was one of the Three Initiates. It is still part of the curriculum today in the "Mystery School" (Los Angeles) called Builders of the Adytum.
I'm sorry but you have no idea what you're talking about the first publication of the kybalion was in 1907 the only Yogi that was being published by the yogi publication Society was Yogi ramacharaka. In both were penned by William Walter Atkinson William Walter Atkinson Hand Works under different pseudonyms.

Hi, Bruce, A great job in laying out the Principles. But, with intension, I think you will lose most of your audience. Intension indicates they must do something to acquire what they desire. Most believe the Universe will give them their desire by thinking happy thoughts two or three times a day. Some TH-cam sites promise manifesting in a day or an hour. So, the belief is, “I don’t have to do anything, and I will just fool the Universe by saying an affirmation for a day or two.” We somehow got the idea that Consciousness is stupid. In my understanding, manifesting is not about acquiring from the outside it is about changing the inside. You do not manifest what you want. You manifest who you are. Peace. Mike

Let's be honest. The kybalion was written by William Walker Atkins in about 1912. So it's not ancient. Having said that, it is based off of Rosicrucian principles from the 1800's. I'm not trying to steal thunder from the video because there is truth there but the fact remains this book is not ancient. Let's go back to Rosicrucianism for a moment. Rosicrucianism is a Renaissance period movement of mystics and scientists that according to their own documents, drew knowledge from many different places, primarily magical and alchemical knowledge. Both magic & alchemy are real and the powers that be do not want you to know this because it unleashes your own God given abilities and moves you away from their control. But magic is not witchcraft although witchcraft uses magical principles. Real magic is theurgy & is designed to reunite that divine spark within you to God. It's not about casting spells on people or winning the lotto or any selfish reason. It is the key to liberation. Seek out books by the Golden Dawn, lyam Christopher Thomas, Donald Michael Kraig, the Cicero's, Israel Regardie & people like that and you won't go to far wrong.

The Kybalion is one of the first ‘spiritual’ books I read , which led to a lifelong journey to understand the nature of the universe. It is completely consistent with the insights from quantum physics and religion. Essential reading for anyone on the path.

During the 1960s, the Yogi Publication Society published this book along with all the works of Swami Vivekananda. These books were quite popular during my high school years. My close friends and myself all owned and cherished each volume.
The reason why the Kybalion was published by the Yogi Publication Society is because Swami Vivekananda was one of the Three Initiates. It is still part of the curriculum today in the "Mystery School" (Los Angeles) called Builders of the Adytum.
I'm sorry but you have no idea what you're talking about the first publication of the kybalion was in 1907 the only Yogi that was being published by the yogi publication Society was Yogi ramacharaka. In both were penned by William Walter Atkinson William Walter Atkinson Hand Works under different pseudonyms.

But, with intension, I think you will lose most of your audience. Intension indicates they must do something to acquire what they desire.
Most believe the Universe will give them their desire by thinking happy thoughts two or three times a day. Some TH-cam sites promise manifesting in a day or an hour. So, the belief is, “I don’t have to do anything, and I will just fool the Universe by saying an affirmation for a day or two.”
We somehow got the idea that Consciousness is stupid.
In my understanding, manifesting is not about acquiring from the outside it is about changing the inside. You do not manifest what you want. You manifest who you are.

Let's be honest. The kybalion was written by William Walker Atkins in about 1912. So it's not ancient. Having said that, it is based off of Rosicrucian principles from the 1800's.
I'm not trying to steal thunder from the video because there is truth there but the fact remains this book is not ancient.
Let's go back to Rosicrucianism for a moment.
Rosicrucianism is a Renaissance period movement of mystics and scientists that according to their own documents, drew knowledge from many different places, primarily magical and alchemical knowledge. Both magic & alchemy are real and the powers that be do not want you to know this because it unleashes your own God given abilities and moves you away from their control. But magic is not witchcraft although witchcraft uses magical principles. Real magic is theurgy & is designed to reunite that divine spark within you to God. It's not about casting spells on people or winning the lotto or any selfish reason. It is the key to liberation. Seek out books by the Golden Dawn, lyam Christopher Thomas, Donald Michael Kraig, the Cicero's, Israel Regardie & people like that and you won't go to far wrong.
