I paid 66k for my 2023 XLT. this is 50% more? I am sure it is better but not 50% better. a lot of this electronic stuff is just more stuff that can break in the long run. comfort features have gotten a little out of control but hey people keep on buying them! I do agree with you. skip the lariat for 7 or 8 grand.
Your videos helped me so much. I’ve watched so many and finally bought a used platinum 2023 and I love it. Keep on keepin on. Also I watch your other channel with your wife.
I looked at both the Lariat Ultimate and the Platinum and decided that the Lariat has all of the towing tech that I care about. The LED reflector headlights are actually awesome. I can't see how the projectors could be much better. The massaging seats, power tailgate, and camera on the tailgate are nice, but not nearly $8k nice.
I looked at both of them too. I decided to go with the F350 lariat Ultimate with Black and Sport packages. My 20" wheels are nicer and has most of the same equipment at the Platinum except for the projector headlamps, massaging seats and tailgate features. My out the door cost for new with 21 miles on the vehicle was ten thousand less that what this Platinum is selling for.(not including what the tax would be for this Platinum). With my tax rate that would put this Platinum rig at over $105,000 not including registration and other fees. I think there's a lot more savings in buying the Lariat and upgrading. The dealership you buy from makes a difference too.
I traded my 2020 platinum for a 23 King Ranch. I love my King Ranch. The only thing I’m bummed out about is I had massaging seats and my new truck doesn’t. I like how the King Ranch looks and it has everything the platinum has. The thing I don’t like is it took almost a year to get it after I ordered it and some of my friends have been over 14 months! And if they break down, you can be weeks before getting parts to repair them, especially the Power Stokes.
Don't forget about color availability. I chose lariat not only due to pricing, but having to have race red. My eclosed trailer matches my red truck and toys. The red offered on the plati wouldn't work for me.
Idk, the tailgate stuff is nice. Haven't been able to try the massaging seats. But that interior isn't much of an upgrade, and the software and convenience features are identical. I think you'd really have to justify the onboard scales & pro power. Projector headlights are better but not by much. I built a Lariat Ultimate and a Platinum with all of the same options that I'd actually use and there's a nearly $7K difference. $8K after taxes. That pays for every single mod and accessory I want with a couple grand left over.
The price of this could be 50-60. Still too much! I would almost pay to not have those options you favor. More things to go wrong! Keep trading them when the warranty runs out!
I don’t care for all the chrome on the vehicle. Opinion on limited vs platinum? Or if you were just fine with saving the money and getting the lariat still.
I don’t care for the interior colors on the limited. Shows dirt too much. Also can’t get the tremor package. If those two things didn’t bother me, then I would just get the limited.
The chrome on the tailgate and all over the truck is a no. The $98k price is a no. It’s unbelievable my 2024 3500 LT Duramax has more payload, better surround cameras, 13 inch display, Z71 package, multi-folding tailgate, painted door handles, center console, power rear window, power folding mirrors, spray-in bed liner…for $73k. Almost a $30k difference in price. You could buy a car for $30k!

here in San Antonio the 2023 f350 king ranch was 73k and platinum was 78k

In Florida, I have no use for the sunroof, I want shade when I'm driving not sunburn....
My 2018 F350 XL is looking mighty awesome in my eyes compared to the 98K people are spending for trucks.
I chose the Lariat ultimate package and I am 100% glad of it. Each to their own when spending this kind of money. Get what you’re happy with. 👍🏻
If you're going Platinum for interior, might as well spend a few grand more and get the blue and gray interior

Waiting to see what the 2025 F350 Platinum Tremor 6.7 high output will look like
We have a 2024 XLT CCLB 7.3 4.30 gears. Plenty of features for us, price was 67,000.00 not bad.
They will absolutely gut this thing just like when they did with the f-150 refresh

Dang. The 24’ KR has them now. I’m not sure why they didn’t add that as a standard option on the 23’ KR. Perhaps supply chain issues.
Agreed, Platinum is better value for not much more. Nicer trim as well.
If you ditch the sunroof(I always do)& go with the standard 6.7 you’re almost at Lariat price. Presto!
This is a beautiful truck...
Great information on your videos, !!!
Os americanos sabem fazer picapes de luxo o nível é excelente trabalho
Come to Brazil that you go see one vehicle expansive, in USA the prices is good! for me, this picup is the maximum!
I would go for the better one the Platinum . Makes sense👍
Surprised a new truck is still using u joints instead of cv joints.
If money was no object i think Platinum is my favorite trim.
I don’t understand why ford doesn’t provide a quality wheel well liner standard… heck you have to pay extra for ANY wheel well liner…
I dont understand why people option the 3.31 rear end over the 3.55.
$30k over priced is that simple
JB would you go ahead and add that tremor package or just get tires and lift yourself?

The wheels suck.....my '19 Plat. looks better and better everyday to me....
I believe you are right just get the platinum
Aint no might about it. Yes its absolutely overpriced.
As picapes aqui no brasil não chega do nível das picapes americanas que são topa demais
over rated and highly over priced period. Stupidity is costly.
Platinum is nice, but that fugly chrome badge on the tailgate, so cheesy, especially in the darker colored trucks!
No way…. Paying extra for a bunch of stuff that I don’t want. Lariat with everything I want for 83k
Why would they. They are selling them faster than they can make them.
Gut punch
The platinum is just an in between trim for those who are too poor to afford the limited
I can afford it but don’t want blue seats platinum for me
I don’t care for the interior colors on the limited. Shows dirt too much. Also can’t get the tremor package. If those two things didn’t bother me, then I would just get the limited.
❤
Do you know Ben Hardy?
They did collab before
JB is not a Ben Hardy fan
@@nastynate4 funny how they use the same dealership to provide the same content.
Ben Hardy is g@y. He wears yoga pants. I will never watch another video of his again.
Cool truck, rims are wack.

Yeah, but it’s a duramax and they are uglier than the new Superdutys . Ford is trying to create their own Chevy Ugly Betty.
Tax write off
Get that price down to $50k like its worth and i bet you sell a lot more! thats a ridiculous price!
