Join Holly Morris as she explores ancient Egyptian tombs and temples along the Nile. Starting in Aswan, Holly sails on a traditional felucca, visiting the camel market in Daraw and the temple at Kom Ombo with its mummified crocodiles. She continues on a 1920s paddlewheel steamship, visiting temples at Edfu and Esna, before reaching Luxor. Holly's journey concludes with visits to the Luxor Temple and the Tomb of Tutankhamun, ending with a sunset sail on a historic Ottoman-era dahabiya.
This is my second favorite series on Free Doc.. Somewhere on Earth was absolute favorite. But this is a great series also! Thanks again for the free awesome content!
Well, they better travel with only 3 passengers, because each has at least paid around 6000GBP or bit more than 7000EUR or 7600USD (only the cruise). And she had a suite, so most likely in the 10k range with her film crew not calculated in. You can book it, it lasts 11 unforgettable days if you are an Egypt enthusiast you may consider. Nice documentary though. But needs to put into perspective why the boat goes with that low headcount.
How come there are no tourist any place during your trip. We were there one and a half years ago and every place was super crowded. Our Felicia trip was our favorite, but should have done the Sudan. Thanks for taking us back!
When i visited Egypt and was sailing down the Nile, i did see the Sudan. Gorgeous! I don't know if this was true, but i was told it helonged to the last King of Egypt.
Nothing. I suppose it could be named “Exploring the Greatest Rivers in the World”, but that title probably wouldn’t catch as much attention as “World’s Toughest Boat Trips”. It’s just a marketing thing.
Zero make up....pretty and intelligent, and most of all...adventurous.And just about my age...I am in love..Care to take a motorcycle ride from Florida to Alaska...Via California?

I thought that was a little disrespectful as a female to purchase a typical male garment to use to sleep in in a very misogynistic country. I’m female but I would respect their customs tho.
This was an amazing documentary, I would give anything to do something like this. However, I'm 72 years old and not in the best of health so my chances of seeing something like this is pretty much nil. Thank you for wonderful documentary.

Same. Overproduced, synthetic conversations & a misleading title - world's toughest boat trip my a.. Sort of a cheesy television show - just on youtube.

Thanks for shedding light on this as it’s a crucial aspect no one takes into account or consideration.

Dont worry we're mummifying you, Mr. Crocodile, because we love you. Don't worry, go with it, we make you a God."
What a beautiful ship. The one in Poirot’s Murder on the Nile film looks very similar to that boat.
The Sudan sailing even if there’s only ONE confirmed booking?!?! American air travel companies should take note!
We're not that desperate
asome

This was definitely one of the world's toughest boat trips... I'm surprised she made it... Truly grueling
Just enjoy the free documentary and quit whining.

Please can anyone tell me how the sound of this type of documentary is captured. Thanks ❤️
Can anyone shed some light on the security issues she mentioned and why they have no tourists?
Lots of tourist scams ... forced scams. If you look it up you'll find videos about It on TH-cam
Respect for the dead? Lol 😂
Ok now try to do the same trip, only with no $$$. Id like to see the comparison.
So nice, how much is the first boat 2d1n?
this woman makes this hard to watch...
Why do we have Corinthian columns, unfluted, with lotus tops?

I am not being sarcastic - just asking?

The animal head on the human body is telling you the specific state of conciousness that being was in.

Hey voice is like nails on a chalkboard

Let us all practice our own harmless customs. Buying clothing and wearing it is one such-- in dact, so is selling clothes, even to tourists.
Disrespectful? You must be Muslim. Nobody cares about that in the West.
Hey, i am professional video editor. i created your videos more better
“More better”? Your English needs some work.
More better? Yeah, I wouldn't want you to create my videos.

Too polished for my liking. Stinks of colonialism the attitude. Didn't like that at all.

Don’t be so thin skinned.
