Thank you mate, I'm happy you enjoyed it. I will always tell where I'm going. If I get a good catch hopefully you guys can get out there and do the same. Terry
Thanks Tony, yeah you wont get a "Somewhere on the Yorks" from me, I want everyone to get out and have some fun. Alex had been travelling interstate quite a bit helping set up new Anaconda stores but can sometimes be seen at Mile End. Thanks you for watching and commenting 👍
@@kayakfishingins.a4327 I hear you with getting out there for a flick, I went the other day just off outer harbor hooked a 30cm bream on a slim swimz motor oil 1/16 that was a fun fight love my bream fishing 😅 I tried for squid but no luck sadly, also was trolling around with plastics and hooked a decent 40ish salmon which got off right at the yak 🤦
Good work Terry my fishing maater need to get down to Rapid the views look stunning, sad I missed you at Myponga yesterday will meet up soon on the water.
Hey Alvin, yeah I didn't travel too far or stay very long at Myponga. I also had no phone reception out there so I couldn't call you. Yes def hit up Rapid Bay, its a nice spot. Terry
have you been out since this last Vid ?, we been up the Warren getting reds , calop ,silver pearch, there draining the Warren res, will be closed mid Feb the SA water guys told me on Tue 24/1/23 bee keen to see it when empty in a month or so, wil go to the para insted and myponga try out the kayaks when they arrive :) was in my son's paddel yak got lots fish but a wet ass ,looking forward to the higher seat in the peddle yak :) may be see you out one day :)
Yeah you can't beat the high seat and hands free fishing with a peddle drive. I went out again but not enough footage for a video. I've never been to the other reservoirs only Myponga. I originally had the next four days off work and was planning on multiple trips. Found out today I have to work as we are short staffed 😩
@@kayakfishingins.a4327 aahh sucks having to work on fishing days, lucky evey days a fishing day retired :) , hanging out to go to Myponga still 13 days before kayaks arrives apperntly dam , still got till late April for prime redies time breedding season for them so there ususly very hungry all the time Jan to April :)
Great vid man, btw that fish is known as a moonlighter not a zebra fish. Zebra fish are much fatter and have the body shape of a drummer. Moonlighter are also very good eating. Keep up the good work.
It’s crazy to think that even though I live in Adelaide and my grandparents lived in the Penthouse of the Point Apartments directly behind your bum at 23.07, I have never seen anyone swimming in the lake like they were when you were getting out lol.
Thank you for this video. Love seeing action on the local waters. Also thank you about not keeping locations a secret etc

Thanks for watching Bill, hope you're doing well.
Great video keep them coming 😃
Thanks mate, had to rest the next day as all those hours in the heat took its toll. Hopefully I can get out again soon.

I got that kayak from Gumtree, shipped over from WA. Thanks for watching.
Love your videos make me feel like I was on my kay besides you 😊 Say hi to Chloe🎉
Hobie OB ❤ I saw her in person 😂
Hi mate, have you been getting out much yourself?
do you enjoy eating the redfin i personly never tried it?
Yeah I do, usually crumbed or battered. They have been called the 'inland whiting'
Think I'll get a bigger kayak. 🦈 we're heading to Aldinga tomorrow morning so thanks again.
Haha yeah, I know a few people who get really worried about the sharks. I hope you do well out there. Terry
@@kayakfishingins.a4327 Thanks I caught 3 medium squid on your jig so really happy with that. And we snagged 5 Garfish.
@@brentonl2631 Awesome to hear, thanks for letting me know. Terry
you are so honest fishings fishin not catching
Twice now been to rapid bay and wind was blowing a gale your lucky it's so clam
Yeah you really have to pick your days out there. I won't go out unless it's calm, not enjoyable otherwise.
Your so right there it wasn't enjoyable tight lines

Ok great, thanks for that. I'll have to try the next one I catch.
Hi, can I ask what App you were using for your location in relation to the non-fishing zone at Aldinga reef. TIA Annie
Yeah sure, it's called Deckee and it's free to use the map feature.
@@kayakfishingins.a4327 thanks so much for your quick reply, will check it out.

Impressive video but that's not a zebra fish but indeed a western talma
Great white at aldinga yesterday
Bloody hell
Yeah Serge was still out there at the time and had a guy on a jet ski race over to him to tell him that he just saw a shark bigger than his kayak.
