    In order for a beginner (eg me) to properly appreciate this video I feel it must be watched at least ten times (probably more). There is enough information here for 10 instructional videos! But I prefer it in this way where one can see how the techniques work together.

      Per esempio il miglior materiale per i terreni è il caffè macinato, quello della moka, dopo averlo usato (fatto il caffè) lo fai asciugare, quando ne hai un po’ lo pol erizxi bene col mortaio di legno da cucina ed ottieni una polvere, la mischi con 30% di vinavil e 70% di acqua anche un po’ di colore a tempera se vuoi, avrai così una ottima base per terreni, quando avrai imparato a dosare l’ acqua potrai ottenere una base auto espandente per coprire i recessi più difficili (tipo tra i piedi delle miniature) una volta asciutta, drybrushing ed inchiostri se vuoi, vedrai che base

    • @stefanocolini5214
      @stefanocolini5214 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Per l’ erba, con una peretta metti del vinavil in purezza sulla base e fai cadere l’ erbatta di vari colori dall’ alto, aspetti una decina di minuti e metti sottosopra la miniature per far cadere l’ eccesso, poi dopo un po’ di tempo, sempre con la peretta cospargi la base Con mix di acqua e vinavil o meglio colla per plastici ferroviari

      So I couldn't wait for my next batch and tried the oil grime on a few sluggas and choppas... Wow! First off, you weren't kidding about being gentle lol i learned the light touch quickly, but rubbed off some paint in my first five strokes of the dry swab. Second, the result was way better than I expected for a first try! The grit was far more credible than any former technique I've used. I think I have a grasp of the wash consistency, but will improve. I finished the current batch and next up I plan on going full force on the oils. I'll send you pics of my usual, the first attempts, and the next batch like I promised hah

      MarcoFrisoniNJM that's exactly what I thought, why didn't he show me what the result was because I almost missed this unbelievable technique.
      I'd dabbled with oil paints but mainly just pin washing.
      I'm all about this technique now, I was about to paint my 3D printed Guard army with a comic book style but I was hesitant after doing the test model due to how long it was going to take.
      I've done 2 test models with different colours in this style and I'm pretty sure I'm about to pull the trigger on one of them.
      Only thing I'm wondering about is can I use it effectively on tanks?

    Love your idea to make your own pigments from pastels, I tried this and failed the first time because I had some cheap pastels with oil in them that prevented them from sanding well and what I got clumped back together in an unusable clay-like paste. but I have since tried it with some oil free pastels and it works great... what an awesome idea. but thought you might want to know for the next time you recommend it

      Hello and welcome 😊😁😊!
      Think to inks like any other colour; a good starter set should include black, white, primary and secondary tones and a couple of browns like burn umber, burnt sienna and raw sienna.
      To start with oils you need just a couple of dark tones like black and a dark brown (maybe expanding with magenta, a dark green and something always useful like Payne's grey) and cheap synthetic brushes 😊

    • @MarcoFrisoniNJM
      @MarcoFrisoniNJM  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brettpetersen1671 You can choose! I prefer to paint the extreme highlights after the wash because light tones are toned down a bit by the wash and I want to keep the highest contrast possible but can paint everything before the wash still having a very good result

      Oh yeah it's one of my favourite tricks 😀 I use it when spraying opaque colours but when I works with transparencies I like a bit of overspray to blend lights and shadows together and give more natural complexity to the tones 😊

    Awesome tutorial! How much pressure when spraying inks vs normal acrylics? More, less, the same? I see you hold the airbrush very close (optical illusjon/camera angel?). I haven't figured out how to get your smooth result yet.. I have inks from Scale75, should it matter? Liquitex is much better or should I be able to get the same non-speckly and smooth result with SC75? 🤔
