Whenever I sell an item that values $100 or higher, I state in my listing that signature confirmation is required upon delivery. On the other hand, if you "relist", then your listing will be renewed but won't show up as a new listing. Good luck.
I have had this happen a few times, but not lately. I wish eBay would *validate* every new account, it would end all this nonsense. But I have been told they have no intention to start doing this.
They wouldn't even consider alienating a potential buyer, scammer or not, in order to make a sale. As for new accounts, I personally think a reading test should be required to buy on ebay.

I sell in the Men's shirts and CD's. My impressions have not taken a drop. My sale were slower in September by about 20% so far. I am down about 100 shirts than I normally list because we are not traveling out of our area due to Covid. We travel, see the sites and visit thrift stores. Well , we are not able to travel and it has made a dent on our sourcing.
What's an impression? I that the same as a view? That just depends on the demand and the price. If I'm looking to buy something, I always start low and work my way up.
My main sales are in video games and yes my impressions dropped to half. I however need to get more items up so that may have impacted my impressions. EBay is constantly changing things. I saw 4 different views of the same screen in one day.
@@roadwarrier9446 Correct. Unlike Paypal, ebay does not front the money to your account when you sell the item. Have you ever bought something at your local store and check your bank statement online? It shows pending. The merchant allows you to take your items from their store even though it may be days before they actually receive the funds from your bank. MP works the same way. You should never wait until the funds move from your pending to available. Your buyer does not know the status of your funds within MP and for all they know, just like when you go to the store, the money is already paid. In the same sense, even if the funds move over to available, the buyer can still try to file a chargeback through your credit card company. I had one for $1200 3 months after the sale.
@@FlippinAintEasy Yeah I just had two customers have packages missing then an order of scratched discs came in that I planned to resurface but they are all scratched on the top meaning they aren't salvageable. I have to take a picture of all 51 discs showing proof and scratches all the way through and hope I get my $300 back.
Joypad Lad - Online Game Store if it was bought on eBay open a return under item not as described. If that doesn’t apply you might have to file through your credit card company.
@@roadwarrier9446 Yes, it is in the "ban bidders" section of the seller summary. There are options to ban people with 2 unpaid claims or less than 5 feedback. I wanted to ban anybody with ANY upaid claims and less than 10 feedback, but that's the best it will do.
I had one of those emails from eBay that a buyer was no longer a registered user. Fortunately, I hadn't been paid yet, so it wasn't a problem for me. Sorry you are having this difficulty.
I had a 50" tv listed for pickup only due to its large size. I've had two buyers not read the listing and buy it. It would cost me at least $200 to ship it.
@@FlippinAintEasy The other idea that just came to mind is having a checkbox when making a purchase of all the details which confirms that the buyer has read and understood the details and condition of the item they are buying, even though the item is pictured exactly the way the seller has it listed. It should state something along the lines of: By checking ALL of the boxes below, I confirm that I have read & understood that each one of the check boxes below are the descriptions of what I'm purchasing: O ITEM: 50" TV & I have read the exact description the seller has stated O S/H: PICK-UP ONLY O OTHER: If I Fail To Understand What I'm Purchasing Before Going Through The Checkout Process, I Will Pay $200 To The Seller For Failing To Read Before Buying & Wasting The Sellers Time If something similar to the above was created, I believe that will open up the eyes & brains of ALL the deadbeats and therefore a smooth transaction every time. As I'm pretty sure no serious buyers will risk having to pay $200 for being ignorant.
I am completely lost as to what is going on at this point. Views and sales for me are down big time but I had a string of off the hook sales September 15-17 that were more sales than I've ever experienced before (5-8 sales a day average). I usually average one to two sales a day. Now I've hit 24 straight hours without one sale and more than likely this will run for 2-4 days before I get another sale. Whenever I do really well with sales I hit a pattern of no sales for days. It is like someone at eBay is hitting the store On/Off switch at random and laughing wildly about it.
Use promoted listings using ebays recommended rates. I too am having issues however I’m going through my listings one at a time and adjusting this from 1% to whatever eBay asks for that item. I then am adjusting the price to cover that difference. From my understanding this is helping to fix the traffic problem.
Impressions in many categories have dropped - clothing, auto parts, electronics ect - it's Ebay and that's why it's important to sell on other platforms besides Ebay. My sales are down 40% - impressions are down and I even promoted the listings.
What on earth are “impressions”??? I rarely go to seller hub. I run 99% of my biz from iPhone. Only printing labels from desktop. What can I gain by fooling around with seller hub or dashboard or whatever?
Yeah my sales were real slow this week, then it picked up a bit today. Might turn out OK. We'll see. Just tried to link to the 25th thing and it didn't work. Seems like a bug in their site.
I was told ebay couldnt sign me up manually on their end. I even tried one of my other accounts. Same result. But honestly, after all that has been going on, I doubt they want to hear from me anyway. lol
I sold an item last year that I got that same message on. I ignored the message, the item had already been delivered. The money stayed in my account, I had PayPal at the time, but I think you should be ok.
Ive had the suspicious buyer email a few times over the years, i think they all turned out fine. It happened with a repeat buyer with over 50k positive feedback, no one could tell us why it was flagged
It happened to me last year when for months I had a very strange, ulmost non-existing number of sales with weeks if zero sales. Did everything from promoting to rewriting all listings- nothing helped. And I sell in many categories. My theory is evay is evaluating certain accounts for behavioral pattern when no or very low sales. I don’t think that such low sales are organic. Ebay’s reps can’t see any issues, everything looks good on their side. It has something to do with different department.
I’ve had this happen once on a camcorder... 99.99 sale.. eBay sent me the same message... guy had only a few purchases logged.. i contacted the buyer tho they said don’t contact them..he said he had no clue what’s up..he did pay and I felt he should get the item.. so I sent it out.. no problems later or after the sale.. I think it was a eBay problem...glitching... sales down .. impressions down ... more my fault I think on that.. to hard to tell tho
As I told you before, both impressions and sales are way down. However, I just wanted you to know that while I am subscribed to your channel, for the last month, I have not been getting your notifications in my email. Several channels have suffered this fate. I don't understand - did something change? Thanks. And I hope your vac sale works out.

I have had the suspicious buyer message from ebay.....after the item had been delivered. If FedEx was able to abort the delivery, the return address is in San Jose,California, not yours. I have already dealt with that issue once.
@@FlippinAintEasy Two phones allow me to do two things at one time. I've had a suspicious buyer once but ebay told me right away so I cancelled the order. This was probably in 2014 when I had one month with a lot of scammers trying to cheat me. I didn't lose any money. I've been watching HubcapJoes videos since 2012. He also said his impressions are way down and sales are slow.
I think allowing the item to get delivered is the best thing that can be done in order to get seller protection. Canceling the order or retrieving the package back from the carrier means you could have lost your funds. Since it was delivered to the address & zip code specified on the order, you can hopefully be protected from any type of chargeback claim or dispute.
Oh my gosh I know that bites. This is an old video I’m watching and I’ve seen one of your recent ones so I see you are still here but I hope it worked out for you. That sucks.
my sell is down too. i believe is the new payment system. Some people dont like to used the bank account. they prefere to pay through PayPal account or other card. The other thing is that we have to wait the payment get clear. we have to send the item even the payment is no in the account. i been paid for the shipping with my own money and i cant even go to search for item cause the money is no my account yet. That's mesd up. Ebay always send me a message to let me know that the cancel the order cause it was a suspicious buyer.
You know that there was a change by eBay. You have to restore all of your promoted listings otherwise you will see no traffic. Now if you don't use promoted listings then I'm not sure of the problem. There was a video put out by another resaler that had the same problem. After bulk editing promoted listings it corrected the issue.
My impressions are down like 90% over the last 8-9 days!! I had ZERO sales. I’d had typical sales of ten to twelve items per week and climbing (I just started a little over two months ago). Then suddenly NOTHING. I checked all my listings, everything was fine. No one was undercutting my prices. I have a 100% seller rating. But I went from thousands of impressions per day to nearly zero.
A high percentage of buyers with zero feedback turn out to be just fine. It is always a bit more comforting when you are dealing with an established buyer, especially on those high ticket items.
@@FlippinAintEasy customer service contacted me before I ship and said they banned her she actually turned out to be a scammer they said she order 10 things then after buyer ship she tries to cancel order
I had someone offer me quite a bit over my listing price and requesting that I text their personal cell number to complete the transaction. I had to cancel the first sale, relist and they did it again! eBay of course said absolutely do not text them or do anything off eBay which I already knew. But yeah lots of weird people out there trying to get one over on you.
Please, I asked from others for help with my sales in my store, but no one has ever gotten back to me but to sell me a course. I have questions, will you pretty please hear me out and give me pointers or opinions,

Hi John. I sell in collectibles stationery and my sales have been down this week. I also sell on Etsy and saw the same thing. One of your viewers pointed out that the end of the federal stimulus maybe causing this and that could be what it is but we are coming into the fourth quarter and we should be seeing an increase in sales. One observation I have noticed on eBay is that the quality of the buyers over the last 2 years has gone down a lot which also has been reflected in sales. Yet my Etsy sales have gone way up over this time. I am seeing people who bought from me on eBay now buying on Etsy instead. I believe that eBay has alienated a lot of buyers and they are shopping elsewhere. Make sure you watch Joe's video about the impressions problem. Clearly eBay has altered the algorithm to suck more money out of the sellers. Anybody reading this watch Joe's video on TH-cam at crazynydriver channel it will make you mad as hell when you find out whay eBay has done.

I have an idea what is going on. I am currently making the adjustments on my account and will report it in the next video which should be very soon. Stay tuned.
I just Start selling on EBAY yesterday and someone buy two cloths from me They did not pay yet, but EBAY send me a message : Suspicious buyer for item We had to cancel bids for the buyer, because they aren't registered on eBay . It my first time selling I don't know if I can relist the Items or not
Cooking Lovely I would if this buyer did not pay you. If they didn’t buy now then it looks like they won’t so go ahead and relist.
Hi. what camera you are filming at? too good image- much better than mine canon M50.

@@FlippinAintEasy thanks
I've been getting all those scam calls from another country, too. I block them all the time now as soon as I hear their voice...😡😡
Yes! If you keep blocking, after awhile they've gone through their extensions. My phone is good about labeling the scam likely calls.
@@sweettina2 I have blocked a total of 6 different phone numbers that they have been using. I probably shouldnt have engaged in conversations with them about how pathetic they are and surprisingly they will chat with you about it. Very sad that people will actively scam someone and act like it is ok.
@@FlippinAintEasy I agree! I call them on their scam if I answer it on accident. I told one to get real job and stop scamming people- he said YOU give me a job! Very sad, indeed. America is their prey. India and Pakistan is where most scams call from.
I get these scammer calls and text messages every 5-6 months. Such calls and messages come in waves. I ignore and block them all.
Hopefully things will get better!
I sell toys and it is slow sales currently. I moved my electronics to mercari. A little lower price buy 3 days no returns help a lot.
why do people call them when they got live chat
I sell fabric and sewing patterns and have been negatively affected for two weeks. My traffic has
been down.
What's an impression? I that the same as a view? That just depends on the demand and the price. If I'm looking to buy something, I always start low and work my way up.
Hopefully it gets better for everyone! Just hang in there! God Speed
My main sales are in video games and yes my impressions dropped to half. I however need to get more items up so that may have impacted my impressions. EBay is constantly changing things. I saw 4 different views of the same screen in one day.
No sales, low sales Have not signed up for MP. Can see this as a bad idea. Saw lots of the same issues back in the day 1995.
I was taught never ship if funds are pending. Great was to loose the money and item. Why did you ship a high item on a pending payment???
Thats the way managed payments work now. It wasn't pending it was processing. Ebay has the money.
You ever notice how when there's one problem, you can expect more. You can have no issues for months and then 5 issues in one day.
Oh yes! I just told my wife I need to catch a break. She told me "maybe next week". lol
@@FlippinAintEasy Yeah I just had two customers have packages missing then an order of scratched discs came in that I planned to resurface but they are all scratched on the top meaning they aren't salvageable. I'm working on trying to return them since that wasn't stated and they're basically trash now. I have to take a picture of all 51 discs showing proof and scratches all the way through and hope I get my $300 back.
Joypad Lad - Online Game Store if it was bought on eBay open a return under item not as described. If that doesn’t apply you might have to file through your credit card company.
Flippin' Aint Easy thanks. Im dealing with mercari. We’ll see how it goes. I sell there, Offerup, eBay and I have a Shopify store.
I gave up on trying to connect to the 25 year Sellerbration too.
I have my store and items set not to accept buyers with less than 5 feedback, and about every other criteria I can set to weed out scams like that.
Really?. Did not think that was possible
@@roadwarrier9446 Yes, it is in the "ban bidders" section of the seller summary. There are options to ban people with 2 unpaid claims or less than 5 feedback. I wanted to ban anybody with ANY upaid claims and less than 10 feedback, but that's the best it will do.
@@roadwarrier9446 I didnt think so either. I shall investigate!
Thanks for the info.
Everyone keep your head up. This slow period will pass and we WILL be OK ♡♡♡
Thanks!
I’ve got suspicious buyers calling me a scammer after attempting to scam me there is a lot of weasels on eBay
They are all over. You need to be careful
I had one of those emails from eBay that a buyer was no longer a registered user. Fortunately, I hadn't been paid yet, so it wasn't a problem for me. Sorry you are having this difficulty.
I have spent the last 3 days removing all my items and closing down my eBay store do to problems such as this and other problems with eBay.
I got a suspicious buy cancelation last week for $119 after shipping.......
Sounds like a hard week. I have extremely slow traffic and impressions for like a week every time i get a return
Yes, very slow sales this month.
I trying to ship an expensive items at list in next day, just in case of security.
I had a 50" tv listed for pickup only due to its large size. I've had two buyers not read the listing and buy it. It would cost me at least $200 to ship it.
I think a basic reading exam should be required to sign up for ebay.
@@FlippinAintEasy The other idea that just came to mind is having a checkbox when making a purchase of all the details which confirms that the buyer has read and understood the details and condition of the item they are buying, even though the item is pictured exactly the way the seller has it listed. It should state something along the lines of:
By checking ALL of the boxes below, I confirm that I have read & understood that each one of the check boxes below are the descriptions of what I'm purchasing:
O ITEM: 50" TV & I have read the exact description the seller has stated
O S/H: PICK-UP ONLY
O OTHER: If I Fail To Understand What I'm Purchasing Before Going Through The Checkout
Process, I Will Pay $200 To The Seller For Failing To Read Before Buying & Wasting The
Sellers Time
If something similar to the above was created, I believe that will open up the eyes & brains of ALL the deadbeats and therefore a smooth transaction every time. As I'm pretty sure no serious buyers will risk having to pay $200 for being ignorant.
Do you take down your active listings at least once a month and then re-list them? That helps.
Information.
I wont breathe a sigh of relief until the pending funds become available. Hard to trust things happening with ebay now adays.
Ive had the suspicious buyer email a few times over the years, i think they all turned out fine. It happened with a repeat buyer with over 50k positive feedback, no one could tell us why it was flagged
Thank God I thought it was only me that was getting low to zero sales.
Great info
Thanks for watching!
Ebay has been changing my lower priced listings adding the best offer feature at 50% off. Have you noticed this on any of your listings?
What the hell?
No I haven’t seen that. I would be contacting eBay if that’s not what you want.
@@FlippinAintEasy
I did. The Ebay representative didn't know anything about it.
Hey John Ebay is just super slow lately I'm not sure what the heck is going on? it's just so stressful & frusting brother! Anyways just try to hang in there ok and don't get too stressed ok ,I believe things will eventually come together and start selling better soon. Lots of Strange stuff going on bro especially with item specifics but I see good changes happening soon just stay strong and tough ok!! We got this!! So just keep thinking happy selling!!! And God will help you ok just stay positive !! Anyways have a fabulous weekend brother and happy Friday!!🙀✌😎📻🎶🌞
Thanks for the kind words! We will figure this out and will ride it out!
@@FlippinAintEasy Yes Sir that's a fact my Brother Thanks for the Great videos of information! ✌😎💰
What’s going on is people are unemployed and that unemployment is paying less now because we’ve been on in because of COVID. It will come back
I have had the suspicious buyer message from ebay.....after the item had been delivered. If FedEx was able to abort the delivery, the return address is in San Jose,California, not yours. I have already dealt with that issue once.
List everything as a "Book."
You might want to get a dedicated phone lime just for ebay. I suggest either ooma or magicjack for $5 a month.
I used to sell those on ebay. Not really interested in a home phone. Cell phone only for me.
We’ve been spoiled with PayPal’s process. EBay is not able to put the money into our accounts while we wait for the funds to clear unfortunately.
If your items are not being seen, has happened to me, you can call Ebay and have them "refresh" your store.
I sell handmade food jewelry and my impressions are down slightly. I hope things improve for you! Have a great day!😀
You know that there was a change by eBay. You have to restore all of your promoted listings otherwise you will see no traffic. Now if you don't use promoted listings then I'm not sure of the problem. There was a video put out by another resaler that had the same problem. After bulk editing promoted listings it corrected the issue.
That was Joe’s video. I did this over the weekend.
Wow this make me so happy I cancelled my victoria secret order I was supposed to ship to a buyer without feedback
@@chickwitthagoodies good thing you cancelled the order then!
Honey,I get calls like that all the time
How to make the most important thing.
I sold a lucky stripes hat just like that a month or so ago!😋
TheQuickerFlipperPickerUpper 2019 I love these hats!

Please, I asked from others for help with my sales in my store, but no one has ever gotten back to me but to sell me a course. I have questions, will you pretty please hear me out and give me pointers or opinions,
This video should be a facebook Ebay community issue. Not a TH-cam, would reach many.. many more sellers to give thoughts.
Incredibly slow traction.
Almost non existent. Nothing.
Some thing is going on.
I sell items under $25 and twice I got those notices from ebay, but happily for me, the sale still went through with no problem. But I am sure glad I don't sell expensive items for food for the scammers.
eBay has a bad habit of making major changes going into 4th Quarter. Not too smart.
As soon as I registered as "seller" to my buyer account, I started getting those Same calls. Ughhh. Now that being said, I have yet to list items, so I can't even relate to these experiences..but truly appreciate your efforts to inform us.
God keep you, your wife, family & viewers. 🌻🙏☝🌼
Anybody reading this watch Joe's video on TH-cam at crazynydriver channel it will make you mad as hell when you find out whay eBay has done.
sierge1 I adjusted my promoted rate with no luck so far.
@@FlippinAintEasy I found it took 2 days before I saw the effect. eBay is slow.

We do some health and beauty, although not as much as we used to. Hopefully this is solved before Q4.
I got out of Health & Beauty. Too many selling it. I can't move it.I found that I would lose money selling it more than make money
