Great camping spot, looks so peaceful too. That would be the perfect weather for me, 20C is ideal for physical activity so you don’t sweat and dehydrate. I would definitely rent the whole thing out, 12 on the platform even if you knew each other is too cramped! Thanks for taking us with you and glad your grandpa is much better 🙏

I got a shepherd's pie today. It's a Gordon Ramsay TV dinner, it's only 10 ounces though. I usually get the great value family size it's only a few more dollars and has 32 ounces.
What was it like after dark? Stars, moon, and the rest is completely dark? I'd be nervous about falling in the water on the way to the bathroom. Definitely an interesting camp site. Thanks for sharing!
What's the bug/mosquito situation like out at the everglades in the """winter'"""? I'd love to go camping like this, but the thought of trying to enjoy nature while getting "eaten alive" makes me not want to bother
There wasn't enough mosquitoes on this trip to even warrant using mosquito repellent. You're almost none. A few on the land hikes over the past few weeks. But there are signs in the park, saying, the mosquitoes get so bad in the summer that it even kills livestock from blood loss. Definitely go in the winter
