Yes, you indeed show a real snow storm, not just a few centimetres of snow falling on a tent for a little while. I am tired of watching people trying some brand new cooking equipment in an air tent, no more drama than that. You have tested your van thoroughly! (Looks like a good one, yes.) It looks cosy to me! That’s why I’ve been watching for four or five years now, and I keep coming back. I hate it when someone exaggerates and/or lies to try and get you to watch a video; it destroys trust between the creator and the viewer because you can’t believe a liar. I won’t give names but there is a guy going around, posting videos where he claims to be spending days at a time in - 40 to - 50 Celsius conditions, yet there is no snow or hoar frost on the ground or vegetation, the pond in the background isn’t even frozen and it’s noticeable that it never gets dark in his videos. He thinks he’s being clever, even though numerous people have pointed out to him that he’s not credible. All he does in response is copy paste a piece about being new and making mistakes (even though outright fibbing is not making a ‘mistake.’) It’s the lure of big bucks; people think that it’s easy and underestimate their viewers. With an attitude like that, he’ll never grow. On the other hand, our Norse friend here treats the viewers with respect for their intelligence.

Love the adventures. I'm a severe weather nut living in Missouri my whole life. Thunderstorms and tornadoes are some of my earliest memories. I love hunkering down in any inclement weather! A tarp, tent, car, whatever works. Hope to live a more transient life before I get too old.

Just when you think it can't get any worse... it does! You attract storms! Very wise of you to go down the mountain. Man, it can be haunted there. You couldn't have picked a better place, near the Red Cross building. Despite all the hardships, your van seems very stable. I'm really jealous of winters like this. But I would be a little concerned about stuff flying around.The snow plow does a fantastic job. Respect for those men and women who have quite a difficult task! Crazy how the technology has been improved over the last century! You are in the peak of a snow storm but instead of being in danger, you can prepare dinner with ease and enjoy it while watching your favorite movies in a relatively comfort and warm place. Crazy.
By far one of the most authentic videos I’ve ever seen on TH-cam, beautiful shots and content and the dedication to go out there for long periods of time just to provide us with a better experience is amazing!
I always LOVED being cozy and warm by the fire when a wicked white out blizzard was raging outside! All you can see is a wall of white outside…and you can only hear the howling of the wind…but you are toasty and warm snuggled up by the wood stove..with a good stock of wood beside the stove/ fireplace.

It's a chilly day here on a Wednesday morning (1/8/25) in the Arizona mountains (32 degrees F) 😁so watching you in that blizzard was pure entertainment. I can recall a few Chicago blizzards, walking through the concrete canyons of the downtown area, with the wind blowing people around like bowling pins, but nothing like your experience here. Beautiful Sognefjellet ❤. Remember driving over that mountain pass in late july a few years ago. All of a sudden the temperature dropped below 0 degrees celcius. Shoot man, with ALL that wind ... You could buy/ build a little turbine to put somewhere that activly charges your batteries/generator . So you dont have to keep the car running or worry about how to charge all these big batteries to run everyhing.

It takes a bit of experience, a 100 things could have gone wrong, but I have been able to learn and adjust my rig for the consequences

Shoot man, with ALL that wind ... You could buy/ build a little turbine to put somewhere that activly charges your batteries/generator . So you dont have to keep the car running or worry about how to charge all these big batteries to run everyhing.
