Hi Alex, I am from Pueblo, Colorado & the alley you went down at the end of your video is called Neon Alley! The building owner collects and restores these Neon signs and displays them as an attraction to the revitalization of the Union Street district. Some are historical to old local businesses and most he has been collecting for years. They are facing the alley as zoning regulations do not allow this collection be affixed to street facing buildings!

Alex, you stumbled upon Pueblo's "Neon Alley!" At night every single one of those signs is lit up. It is just one of the unique spots in Pueblo. The signs are all preserved, repaired and displayed in their original working fashion. The vast majority of the signs are from local businesses. It's a great spot to take a few high school senior (graduation) pictures too!

That's just 42 different kinds of cool!
I'd love to see it all lit up at night.
Especially in the winter, because 1: they'd all look great against a snowy background, and 2: no smell from the dumpsters, lol!

Your opening was filmed on C Street and behind you was Phil's Radiator Service which was an old radiator shop turned bar. I worked and later owned Phil's. As you turned the corner on to Union across the street was Bite Me Cake Company where I now work as a bartender in our arcade bar in the basement of the bakery called Flip A Coin . Hope you enjoyed your visit to Pueblo.

The Pegasus is from Mobile Gas Stations. My Grandfather owned a Mobile Gas Station in Rochester, NY a long time ago. I just found two pictures of his station (black.and white), they were hidden behind my Mother's wedding photo. I just found them because the frame fell apart. In one photo, there is a coca cola glass bottle display. At Christmas time they would have Santa Claus sled pulled by several Pegasus. Just wanted to share a little history with you. I really enjoy all your videos. Do you have an email, I could take a picture of the photos and send them to you if you would like.

I'd love to see Neon Alley at night. The Pegasus is from Mobile. My dad had one on his Mobile station many years ago. The wings flash back and forth to make it appear to be flying. Love when you go into the different antique stores. I see so many things I had or my family had.

I just wanted to thank you for being so gentle, considerate, informative and respectful in your videos. Recently, I came upon a few videos by someone else who does a similar thing (hoarder houses, etc) and it was really disturbing to me the roughness and disrespectfulness with which he handled each situation and the items he found. It really made me appreciate what you do & how you go about it so much! Keep being you!

Some really nice shops, unfortunately most people in Colorado DO NOT haggle. Coming from the Northeast, you walk into an antique shop or consignment shop and haggle prices. NOT here. We stopped into places in Pueblo and Trinidad and bought NOTHING. People were rude, couldn't be bothered and didn't know their items. Buyer beware. We hit a total of 5 shops in Pueblo and only 2 in Triniad before we gave up and left, empty handed for the first time in years. Shook our heads in disbelief.

When you said you used to ride your tonka truck down the hill it made me laugh because my younger brother had a GI Joe jeep and we would put our youngest brother in it. He loved riding in it. He would sit in the back and have his feet under the dash and hold onto the windshield frame. We lived on a dead end and most of the neighbors were old so no one was ever driving on the street. We would run while pushing him in it down the street. And when I had my own children I thought I would never have allowed my children to do that or to be the one in the jeep. 😄

So many memories seeing Phil's radiator behind you lol. My brother and sisters band aggressive persuasion played there all the time in the early 2000's 😊. Man oh man! Were those the good 'ol days!. Glad you explored and enjoyed seeing my home town!. If you're ever there again around the end of September check out the chilli frijole festival 😋.

It's a living hell. That's literally all smoke and mirrors. We've had about 22 murders. Gunshots EVERY night and day. Homeless overflow the town. Crime is rampant. 75% of the businesses are empty. 50-100 year old businesses just sell and close. Been here 7 years and I've NEVER seen a town so dysfunctional survive
