I have a Xiaomi mi8 ( 2017) and I'm pretty satisfied with the overall performance. I'm not interested to buy another phone this year, i guess it will last more two years or more than thar with great performance.
xiaomi may have already learnt that they could be entity-listed at any point so theyre probably already making an os behind the scenes in that case or could use harmonyos if they really wanted to.

Great video, Floss! This phone is fantastic. If it wasn't for limited availability, this would have been one of the best flagship phones of 2020. And I agree with you about the difference between Snapdragon 865 and 888. Both chips run very well and have little difference. That is why I am perfectly happy with my Galaxy S20, while I'll keep using it for a few years.

In China you get a charging brick if you ask for it atm BUT when it will comes to Europe it might not have that options (if the price stays around the same than it's OK because the Global versions are always more expensive due to more antenna bands).

Update...finally got the phone activated. So, after the ban on the Chinese phones last year, nobody will activate them. Cricket, Boost, Metro PCS--No AT&T, no T-Mobile, no Verizon, none of them. I had to take it to Mint Mobile and it popped right on. So, everybody who is buying a Chinese phone should probably go to Mint Mobile to get your phone activated with no problem. And the service is good👍🏽they use Sprint/ T-Mobile towers.

First tested with raise to unlock without touching the power button and its quick, but when pressing the power button like you do with the Xiami, just as fast. Maybe your next video, take all the phones you have and do a speed test
